But both rear engines seem dead

I have good control of the front engines But I has smole coming out of the rear ones

I don't know is the engines are dead

But I think it's more of a problem with the speed controllers

The speed ??controllers for the engines. There is one for each engine

so I bought some components, And I'll try to fix it

I do not have much hope but you never know

those are the speed controllers

There, I'm not sure you can see it well but clearly I have fried component

But, because I can still control the front engines ...

I think the main board is in good condition

I can turn it on an I can to control the speed

I just have no response from the rear engines

so either it's just those pieces that are dead, I change them and it works

Or the engines are dead too I really have no way to check

I bought some more, just in case

But for now I will already try to replace these two pieces there

clockwise screws the other one is counter clockwise

So two different parts, So I must be careful

in any case it is exactly the same component, Looking exactly the same

The first thing I will do, Is to check that my board

Sends 8 volts on each of the components

I'm pretty sure it's okay but I still prefer to check

so I turn it on

I'm sure it's good

See I have smoke there, always on this piece

so it's dead, that's for sure

Every time I turn it on, it fries a bit more

7.96 volts

and 7.96 Volts

So I have no problem with the power supply

I send 8 Volts everywhere

so it shows me that there is a good chance that these two pieces ...

We see that this one blinks so it is not normal

This component is obviously burnt

So I still have a very good hope that by changing these pieces it will work again

So I'll start desoldering

we see that the power arrives here for the rear components

Therefore it is here that we will desolder

The idea of ??doing this in fact is to have clean traces

It's even more important as there were probably water damages

So we want to have really clean traces

It will allow us to re-solder them properly afterwards

Our friends at Hubsan like to put this kind of white glue everywhere

I do not know what it is exactly

So when removing it, it can resist a little bit

so now the question is: 'should I try to recover the engines or not?'

Knowing that they may be damaged

this is not an easy choice

Especially since I bought some Well… it's not very expensive but…

I think I will try with the old engines and if it does not work, I will put new ones

So we will put the right engine back here

I will put the components in place otherwise it will be a mess

but if the engines are fine My new components should be working

The new speed controllers are on

I can't test the engines for now

I'll need to completely put the drone back together

Because the compass part is in the top of the hull

So it's impossible to test it completely now

I'll have to put it back together

pass some cables... But as you can see, I'm almost there

Just those cables left, but they are very thin, so it should be easy

So let's put it back together and test it

OK The drone is ready

Well almost, I did not put back all the screws because it would useless at this point

I turn on my remote control

I put the battery back in

we will be able to start the engines

It looks very good

I push the throttle

It looks perfect, now I will put the blades back on

And test it outside to see if it can fly

but I have a good reactivity of the four engines

So it means that the engines were not broken so this is good news

I bought some for nothing but I guess I'll use them sometime

Here I will finish with the screws, put the propellers back and then we're on

well it's flying again, it's fixed

I will try not to cut my head off, if I can

good … so about 20 euros to fix my drone

about 20 euros of components
