Women's Revolution The main event of last night's Raw saw Alexa

Bliss take on Sasha Banks for the Women's Championship.

The story going into the match was that Banks always loses her title defences - which would

usually set up the babyface triumphantly overcoming their past faults and finally retaining.

Instead, Bliss won by beating Banks clean.

Bewildered?

You're not the only one, with Sasha's best friend forever Bayley tweeting:

"I'm so confused" But that wasn't the only befuddling part

of last night's show.

Real Reason Behind John Cena Vs Roman Reigns Feud

The Dirty Sheets reported yesterday that WWE were planning for John Cena to face Samoa

Joe at the Raw-exclusive show No Mercy, and Roman Reigns would be feuding with The Miz.

Reigns would eventually beat Miz for the Intercontinental title, becoming a modern day Grand Slam champion

in WWE.

But while the Grand Slam plans for Reigns might still be in place, it won't be happening

at No Mercy - because Reigns and Cena signed a contract on last night's Raw to wrestle

at the September show.

So what happened to the previously reported plans, and why is No Mercy - a traditionally

B-level pay-per-view - now stacked with Wrestlemania calibre matches Cena vs Reigns and Brock Lesnar

vs Braun Strowman?

The Dirty Sheets are now reporting the plan going into Monday was for Reigns and Cena

to face off on Raw, but they'd get interrupted by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson - which

still happened on the episode.

But upon beating them, Kurt Angle would then make The Golden Shovels the No. 1 contenders

to Oooh Kingslayer Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose's tag team championships.

Cena and Reigns would win the tag titles at No Mercy, drop them at TLC, and face off against

each other in a singles match at Survivor Series.

This all changed on Monday morning, though, when Cena apparently told WWE officials he

would no longer be available past No Mercy because of the shooting schedule for his Transformers

spin-off movie Bumblebee.

The article notes that ever since the botched reverse exploder suplex from Shinsuke Nakamura

onto John's neck, executive producer and Hasbo CEO Brian Goldner "is strongly opposed

to Cena competing during filming".

What complicates the situation even further is that, after No Mercy, Brock Lesnar isn't

scheduled to appear for WWE until the Royal Rumble build next year.

In the Beast's absence, WWE were relying on the Cena vs Reigns storyline to carry Raw

through TLC and Survivor Series.

Cena vs Reigns at No Mercy was apparently only confirmed at 4pm on Monday, just several

hours before Raw went live, and John was reportedly very involved in writing the worked shoot

promos for the episode.

The timeline checks out, as earlier in the day, PWInsider reported that along with the

Battle Royal to decide the Intercontinental Title No. 1 contender - which did take place

- Cena would be facing Samoa Joe in their first ever singles match in WWE.

But then at 4.15pm, WWE's official Twitter account announced the Cena and Reigns No Mercy

contract signing, but made no mention of the Samoa Joe fight.

Sadly, another reason is behind the match being scrapped.

Samoa Joe Injured Both PWInsider and F4WOnline are reporting

Samoa Joe suffered a knee injury at Saturday's house show in Arkansas, causing him to miss

the following night's live event in Mississippi.

He will reportedly be out of action from between four to six weeks, which is why Joe didn't

appear on Raw.

Alexandra Burke confirms mother's tragic death aged 53 with heartbreaking statement

Alexandra, 29 - who is starring on the latest series of and even attended the launch last night - shared a heartbreaking statement to announce the tragic news.

She posted a message, which read: "It is with the heaviest and saddest of hearts that the family inform you our beautiful, funny and loving mum, Melissa Bell has passed away.

"Our beautiful mother gained her wings on Monday 28th August 2017, a day that has changed our lives forever. "We will never forget her unconditional love, support, charisma, strength and courage throughout her life.

We are eternally proud and thankful to call her our mummy.  . "We would be grateful if you could respect our privacy at this difficult time. The Burke Family," she then signed off the first post.

Alexandra - whose mother was the former lead singer of Grammy winning R&B act Soul II Soul - added: "Mummy has always been my biggest supporter and was over the moon when I told her I was doing Strictly.

"It was always a dream of hers that I would one day be part of the show and I know that she would have wanted me to carry on xx.".

The former winner's followers immediately took to her profile to share their condolences, with one person posting: "Damn! She was such a lovely woman and I remember the good times we had a few years ago.

She will always be remembered! RIP." "So sorry to hear this Alex. Your mom was such a lovely kind caring person, thoughts are with you and your family," a second shared.

A third wrote: "RIP. Her legacy will be remembered through you and the legendary music of #SoulISoul. I wish you all the best during these times."  .
