Hello, I'm Juan Cortes the director of the series "Taller de Video".

Taller de Video (Video Workshop) is a live action 8 chapter TV Series.

It tells the story of a young group of people that attend a video workshop.

Valparaiso is the alternative city of Chile, it's a city full of culture

full of art. I studied film there and made my first movie

after finishing university. My first movie is free to watch on the internet.

And my evolution as an artist has taken me to making a TV series.

The idea was to capture the diversity of people that exist in Valparaíso.

Each chapter is about one of the characters who participate in the workshop.

Each character is very unique, very different from each other.

I've tried to show this diversity in people from Valparaiso through this series.

Scary movies and vampires.

My life is a disaster and I am giving lessons to them.

But that is the reality of all teachers in the world Claudia.

This is an emblematic series,

because it's like the tip of an arrow, it opens new doors

It's an international series, it has a Spanish character,

a Mexican character.

Even though we have support for the production

we still need some other important things, like special effects

animation and design that will beautify our TV series

Making it a quality of international standards. Music is also a key factor.

To create a 400 minute soundtrack

We need to work really hard on that. Marketing is also key, to make posters, trailers

make a whole big advertising campaign for six months.

We need to travel

And show the series to the best TV companies in the world.

I believe that this series deserves all of the world's attention

And I trust that you, who are listening to this video right now

Will be moved to participate, the same as we are.

We think this TV series captures that diversity

that magic present in Latin America

Which is so beautiful and necessary to share with the world.
