DANNY DRINKWATER has handed in a transfer request at Leicester to force through a move to Chelsea.

Antonio Conte has been keen to bolster his midfield options in the final few days of the transfer window.

And Drinkwater has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.

The 27-year-old was a key member of the Leicester side that won the Premier League title in 2016.
