Chelsea transfer news: Blues offer Everton £25million for wantaway Toffees star Ross Barkley

ROSS BARKLEY is the subject of a £25million bid from Chelsea. The offer for the Everton midfielder — £20m plus £5m add-ons — comes after Antonio Conte also made a £40m move for Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has bid £25million for Everton star Ross Barkley.

The 23-year-old only has one year left on his current deal at Goodison Park. The Toffees originally valued Barkley at £50m, but are aware they will no longer get close to that.

They are still holding out for £30m though. Tottenham also have a long-standing interest in the England man.

And Everton will now hope they make a counter bid to drive the 23-year-old's price back up. Barkley is currently out for three months with a hamstring injury.

He is in the final 12 months of his Goodison Park contract and wants to leave.

Ronald Koeman had been hoping to sell the England international for £50m.

Everton playmaker Ross Barkley is currently out of action with a hamstring injury. Chelsea have upped their transfer business before the window slams shut at 11pm on Thursday.

The Blues have reportedly had a bid £28m accepted by Leicester for their central midfielder Danny Drinkwater. Conte has also moved swiftly to sign Eden Hazards younger brother Kylian where he will link up with their development squad.

And Chelsea still remain keen on bringing Swansea striker Fernando Llorente to West London, as the Spanish international looks to link up with his former manager at the Old Lady.

[music plays]

Good morning, everyone. We are all in the car today

Because we officially got

Zuko's update-

er-Zuko's lab results in from the blood draw the other day. They called me yesterday and said that they wanted me to

come in to discuss the results, so

Ultimately, I don't know

what-you know obviously it still could be nothing, but I think that them wanting us to come in for an appointment

it's not really a good sign?

soooooo

We're on our way to the appointment now

I guess we'll see what the answers are

[Doctor] So normal is below 5, he was at 6

[Doctor] So with these levels what we are worried about...like lead poisoning and lead toxicity

[Sarah] yeah... [Doctor] So um,

[Doctor] ...what I'm going to do...so his blood counts were down just a little bit

nothing too bad for his age. Um, if the lead counts go higher the blood counts do go lower a bit

Things we're worried about with that is-is if they're not getting enough iron

and at his age it could be a concern

umm, I don't think that's an issue

ummm but with lead there can be lead and iron-so the leads going up sometimes the iron goes down...

So we want to check blood again in 3 months

I hate checking blood with little ones

um but I think we gotta do it to make sure that leads not going in the wrong direction...

[Sarah] Right... [Cody] Right...

Let's get us done again three months from now is going to be November, so about the middle of November

So basically...he has lead poisoning...

According to the test results he has

Elevated blood levels like more than 5, he has what the original

drawing was for health Department, which was 6.1, that's when it came back as for the doctors draw, it came back as level six

And so by pretty much the standard, that's like

You know above a five is where they get concerned above a five is-is lead poisoning.

Basically

You have to just figure out what we're gonna

do now because Zuko has lead poisoning, and is exposed obviously to it somewhere

Then that means that the rest of us and the rest of the kids are exposed to it. According to the doctor

They're like well We really need you to get rid of all like the paint-lead

paint and dust and paint chips and everything that could be the exposure and they want us to at least paint the walls

But I'm thinking we should-we just have to move altogether [Cody] Yeah

I really don't know how they're a test for that

But either way, even if we-even if we just did-like even if the only requirement was for us to paint the walls

We'd still have to move all of our stuff out and us out of that house while they repainted everything...

[Cody] Ok [Woman on Phone] So I would call the primary doctor

[Woman on Phone] If they have any problems with ordering that

[Woman on Phone] Um...let me know

[Woman on Phone] and then I can call and talk to them

[Woman on Phone] but I would just call the doctor and say the Health Department wants the other three children checked

[Cody] Okay

[Woman on Phone] Um and then

[Woman on Phone] I need to schedule a time

that would be convenient for you guys for me to come out

probably going to be sometime next week

[Cody] Alright

[Sarah] (Sighs)

Alright guys, so basically where we're at, we have to have a home visit with, um,

someone from the Department of Health to come by and I'm not sure

what that-what's all involved with that if they have to come by and like test the paint on the walls and

it sounds like we have a lot of paperwork to fill out and

Basically we have a case open now with the Department of Health and so that's gonna be this week

We also have to officially get all the other kids tested so yeah, so that's where we're at right now

We just-we have to- it sounds like this is just gonna be a process

And I'm gonna go ahead and close out this vlog guys cuz you know there's just like a lot to process

And cody and I are feeling just a little bit overwhelmed right now

So we just have, you know, like I said a lot to process

I'm gonna go ahead and end out this vlog, and I will see you in my next video. Ok bye guys

BRINK OF WW3: Russia moves thousands of people from North Korea border after missile test - Duration: 4:56.

BRINK OF WW3: Russia moves thousands of people from North Korea border after missile test

Civil defence officials were ordered to shift 1,500 residents in Vladivostok to safe areas, according to pro-Kremlin media outlets.  Social media outlet Mash said this afternoon: A verbal order was given to relocate 1,500 people to safe areas.

The order came from the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies..

, which has political and business ties to Pyongyang, shares a 24-mile land border with reclusive .  It was unclear where the 1,500 were moved in the re-location, which was later described as  a training exercise, according to FedPress.ru.

But it appears to have been triggered by the launch of a missile over Japan last night, in s latest warning to the US and .  A source told the site: A relocation scheme is being exercised as part of the training..

Russias deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov said the country was extremely worried about the launch and the tendency towards an escalation. He also urged Kim to abide by UN Security Council resolutions regarding the hermit states missile programme.

Mr Ryabkov told reporters: Regarding the launching of the missiles from North Korea, we stick to the resolutions of the United Nations. We insist on the fact that the North Koreans must respect those resolutions from the United Nations..

Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova last week warned the North Korean crisis could lead to. She said: The US and South Korea holding yet more large-scale military and naval exercises do not help reduce tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

We urge all sides to exercise maximum caution. Given the arms build-up in the region, any rash move or even an unintended incident could spark a military conflict..

In a shock development, Russias largest island disappeared from the countrys online maps by major IT company Yandex after yesterdays launch.  The Pacific island of Sakhalin, which lies north of Japan, could be vulnerable to a stray launch by trigger-happy despot Kim.

Yandex claimed it suffered a technical problem. World leaders have united to condemn the missile test, which flew over Japan and landed in the Pacific about 1,180 km (735 miles) off Hokkaido.

US President Donald Trump said he had received North Koreas latest message loud and clear and warned all options are on the table He said: This regime has signalled its contempt for its neighbours, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behaviour.

Threatening and destabilising actions only increase the North Korean regimes isolation in the region and among all nations of the world.. Theresa May, who is meeting Japanese PM Shinzo Abe in Tokyo this week, accused the regime in Pyongyang of reckless provocation.

She added: There will be an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council later this afternoon and we will continue to work with our international partners to put pressure on North Korea to stop these illegal tests.

And of course, I will have the opportunity on my visit to Japan over the next few days to be discussing these issues with Prime Minister Abe. Additional reporting by Will Stewart.
