Guys, I think one of my bike's tires is flat

I came to German course with it,

but now that today's class is finished, I'll have to take it to a bike workshop.

And how can I take it there without riding it and damaging the tire more?

What about subway?

It's quite easy to take the bike with you on the subway here.

There are this type of escalators.

And it's allowed to take them with you inside wagons.

~ But the bike is like a passenger! It's necessary to pay a ticket for it. ~

I'll take advantage of being here in the workshop

and introduce to you a person who nows a lot about biking.

It's Johannes, the owner of this bike workshop in Bonn.

Brazil, use bike more!

My bike is back on the streets, so I'm going back to hotel.

And I even had time to learn about how they see the bikes here.

That was an interesting talk.

Even with all the respect and space given to bikes here in Germany,

Johannes believes that it could be better.

How much we still have to do about that in Brazil...

STOP!

When I thought I had finished recording this episode,

I met a very special person who has a message to ya'll.

I am Aline Cavalcante.

On social media you'll find me as @pedaline.

I'm from the "Gangorra", which is a social business in São Paulo,

and I work with urban mobility since 2009.

I was featured in the internacional movie "BIKES vs CARS"

And is interesting to say that because this film

puts you on the perspective of the relation between cyclists and drivers.

I've pedaled in several cities of Brazil and of the world,

and I have something to say that it's kind of unanimous.

If it's possible to find unanimity in this world.

But, the bike is the perfect weapon!

It's the perfect machine!

To transform people.

To transform yourself from inside out.

To transform the city, the economy, humanitarian issues,

public health, public secutiry

Bike aproaches all this points.

On any city of the world.

And, of course, Amsterdam and Copenhagen are the bike paradises,

but I live in São Paulo. I'm brazilian.

And there is where I work, fight and try to take this transformation to more people.

So, I wish I can inspire more people to fight for what they want.

And, for me, bikes are weapons to change the world.
