 Manchester United fans noticed Sir Alex Ferguson's reaction to Southampton going 2-0 up against the Red Devils - and thought it was fitting

 The legendary Red Devils boss was filmed on BT Sport cameras in the stands for United's Premier League clash with the relegation-threatened Saints

 He watched as Stuart Armstrong opened the scoring before Cedric Soares curled a free-kick home past the outstretched hands of David De Gea

 Jose Mourinho looked absolutely fuming as cameras panned to him slouched in his dugout

Ed Woodward looked equally unimpressed with the score.  Ferguson however reacted by readjusting his glasses at first before briefly laughing

 The Scot was clearly unimpressed with his side falling two goals behind, and his reaction looked to be out of shock

 Manchester United fans responded to it on social media, with many agreeing that they had the same reaction to the tragic comedy unfolding before their eyes in the early stages of the game
