El ciclista británico del Team Sky, Chris Froome, y el corredor colombiano del EF Education First Drapac, Rigoberto Urán, se preparan para la carrera que se correrá entre los municipios de Guatapé,
San Rafael y San Carlos (Antioquia), el cual tendrá un recorrido de 200 kilómetros con 60 en la ida (reto agua) y 140 en la vuelta (reto energía), y se llevará a cabo este domingo, 4 de noviembre, entre las siete de la mañana y las cuatro de la tarde.
Sin embargo, el colombiano le dio un tour por la ciudad y los municipios aledaños a Medellín al multicampeón de las carreras más importantes en la modalidad de ruta, antes de que llegue la carrera.
De hecho, como parte del recorrido, Rigoberto llevó a Froome, junto con unos amigos, a la represa de Guatapé, donde Froome dio cátedra de nadador.
En un tuit, que compartió el británico en su cuenta de Twitter, se puede ver cómo Froome salta desde una plataforma de madera y hace un clavado.
No obstante, el ciclista pudo aguantar la respiración y mantenerse debajo del agua, inquietando al 'Toro de Urrao' quien dijo impresionado: "Dónde salió este güevón, se perdió", con el ya conocido humor del antioqueño.
En la publicación, con la que el corredor del Sky dio a conocer el video, escribió "las pirañas me comieron", con lo que le puso un toque de humor británico al tema,
aclarando que en la represa de Guatapé no hay tales animales, que son endémicos del Amazonas, por lo que no se encuentran en ningún otro lugar del planeta.
