 Manchester United have begun their journey to Italy ahead of a crunch clash with Juventus, but there was no sign of misfiring striker Romelu Lukaku

 The Red Devils are currently second in Group H after their opening three Champions League games but trail Juventus by five points, having lost 1-0 to the Old Lady at home last month

 Jose Mourinho and his United players were photographed flying out to Turin from Manchester Airport on Tuesday afternoon, with the likes of David De Gea and Paul Pogba spotted

 However, Lukaku has been struggling with injury in recent weeks and was not snapped by the official club photographer during check-in

 The Belgian striker was dropped for the Red Devils' victory over Everton last week and was left out of the squad against Bournemouth on Saturday due to an ankle problem

 Lukaku, who has not scored in his last nine appearance for United, was not seen during the open training session at Carrington on Tuesday morning either

 However, he could have been training away from the main squad and is yet to be officially ruled out against Juventus

 Alexis Sanchez started up front at the weekend and is expected to lead the line once again, despite failing to hit the target at the Vitality Stadium

 Marouane Fellaini and Diogo Dalot were both pictured travelling with the squad while Phil Jones was also seen at the airport, although all three are unlikely to feature

 Opponents Juventus are suffering an injury crisis on the eve of the match at the Allianz Stadium with Joao Cancelo - a former United transfer target - tipped to be left out

 Blaise Matuidi will miss the game but Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to play the full 90 minutes

 Juventus are currently undefeated this season and come into the fixture on the back of a 3-1 victory over Cagliari
