Rich Chigga's latest music video, "Glow Like Dat" is a colorful take on a break up song.

The Indonesian comedian turned rapper, who

burst on to the scene in 2016 with "Dat $tick," is clearly stuck in his feelings

for much of the track.

But who is he talking about?

Well, Genius contributor AddyRaina pointed to a May interview Chigga did on Pharrell's

Beats1 radio show, OTHERtone.

Rich Chigga: Me and this girl were online dating for a lil bit. She lives in Maryland.

Basically, 2 months into the relationship she broke up with me. I even wrote a song from it.

I think it's still my most lyrical, most poetic song ever, I think it's beautiful.

It turns out that Chigga was on the losing end of a 2 month long distance relationship.

This looks like it's the song that helped him cope.

The video itself could also be proverbial stunt on the woman it's written for.

Pharrell: She just saw you blow up outta nowhere.

Rich Chigga: I mean this was before that.

Pharrell: Right.

Rich Chigga: But yeah, she did.

Pharrell: Did she reach back out?

With this in mind, take a look at the lipstick on Chigga's face and the disembodied female

hands running their fingers through his hair.

It seems like Chigga is trying to say that he's moved on to bigger and better things...

like his first headlining tour entitled 'Come To My Party.'

It'll span 28 dates and it begins on September 9th at the Day N' Nite festival in Anaheim, California.

Good on you, Chigga.

I'm Jacques Morel with Genius news bringing you the meaning and knowledge behind the music.

Peace!
