The attack of a snail on a starfish

If I had read

That these animals were predators

Of the starfish.

But I had never seen the act

From a snail eating a starfish.

This large snail called it

Triton of the Atlantic or Charonia variegata.

That comes from the "Caron".

That is a character of several Greek novels

From Greek mythology.

And it was the one who was carrying on a boat

To the souls or the spirit of the dead.

The Charonia or the Triton is

A predator of the sea stars.

To witness this event is like a boxing match

Between 2 tortoises, one slower than the other.

Nevertheless

The force exerted by the snail when it attacks the starfish.

Is awesome

It is really an apocalyptic event when one is present.

We always snorkel to see the starfish

I had never seen a snail attack on a starfish.

That made me wonder, why in this case

We found that possibly the starfish

For this snail in the middle of the day
