Waterfall of Vaux de Cernay - Yvelines - France
The waterfall is located in the Yvelines region
50 km south west from Paris
in the magnificent Parc of "Haute Vallée de Chevreuse"
You will find it at the little Mill of Vaux de Cernay
The mill and the waterfall were created at the beginning of the Middle Age
by the monks of the of the Vaux de Cernay Abbey
The did suite a lot in the area at the time, and they created lakes
but also 6 mills
of which this little Mill of Vaux
The waterfall was probably created at the same period
