and today I'm going to make a Christmas card
I will use these stamps and dies
super cute, from La Pareja Creativa
which I will stamp with Memento ink
perfect for colouring with alcohol-based markers
on Neenah Solar White
which is one of my favorite cardstocks for coloring
I will use some Copic markers
and I'm going to colour the angel that I decided to use in this project
After a basic colouring
because I'm not an expert in this matter
I'm going to die cut the angel
using the corresponding cutting die
and the Sizzix
I'll use a scrapbooking paper
that belongs to a very old Christmas kit
from my stash
and the 2nd cutter of this set
that measures 13.7 cm x 9.3 cm
I will also die cut a circle
with about 7 cm in diameter
and with this punch, I'll cut a smaller one
with 1.5 cm
to stick on the other
to imitate a Christmas ball
like this
I cut a rectangle of glitter paper
with 8cm x 12.2cm
round the corners to 1/8 inch
For the sentiment, I cut a strip of white cardstock
because I had no red cardstock at the moment
But there's a solution: I'll colour it
with one of the markers I used to paint the angel
I will use the words MERRY CHRISTMAS
of this stamp set
and because I am going to use the hot embossing technique
I will pass this anti-static powder
to prevent particles of scattered embossing powder
So I'll stamp with Versamark
and then I will apply embossing powder
in this case white
that I will melt with the hot air gun
Now, I'll glue all the pieces together
To put under the main panel
I cut some more cardtock
with 9.7 cm x 14 cm
and I'm going to color the borders with the same marker I used earlier
For the card base, I cut cardstock
with 29 cm x 10.5
fold in half
and round the 4 corners
To embellish
I cut a bow
using another die from La Pareja Creativa
that I'll colour in red too
and paste to the panel
To the center
I cut a circle of silver paper
And the card is ready
