The Reds sit second in the Premier League, and Saturday evening's clash against Arsenal will be vital in their title challenge
Arsenal are on an unbeaten streak of 12 matches in all competitions, and will move to within one point of Liverpool with a win
Meanwhile, Liverpool will move top if they better Manchester City's result this weekend
They may end up having to play a makeshift line-up, as boss Jurgen Klopp sweats on the fitness of his midfield pairing
Keita suffered a hamstring strain whilst on international duty. He missed the Huddersfield win on October 20, and is yet to return to first-team training
During the Huddersfield win, captain Henderson was forced to come off at half time
The midfielder suffered a tight hamstring in the first half and has not trained with the first-team since
Speaking last week, Klopp suggested the two would feature against Arsenal, however it now appears that with just three days to go, neither has trained
"They are both in a good way but they will not be ready (to face Cardiff)," Klopp said pre-Cardiff
"That's pretty much it though – the rest, apart from [Alex] Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian [Brewster], should be available
" If Henderson and Kieta are unavailable, as they were for Liverpool's 4-1 Champions League win against Red Star Belgrade, it is possible that Adam Lallana could get a recall to the team
Lallana has been suffering from a groin injury, which forced him out of the opening part of the season
However, he played against Cardiff, and could be in line to feature again on Saturday
Elsewhere, Xherdan Shaqiri could be in line for a start after bagging his first Liverpool goal on Saturday
