Hi I'm Christine Damko with the City of Temecula
standing in front of Temecula Olive Oil Company's Tasting Room in Old Town
and this is your Good News of Week for October 29th, 2018.
Started right here in 2001, Temecula Olive Oil Company grows their olives right up the road in Aguanga.
This family owned and operated business has grown to include tasting rooms in 4 other Southern Califonia cities.
If olives are your thing, you can join Temecula Olive Oil Company on a ranch tour to see the behind the scenes of everything they do!
The real way to experience it all is by joining in on their annual Harvest Festival, coming up November 3rd!
This festival celebrates the olive oil harvest with an amazing menu
featuring local foods, beers and wines and of course all topped off with fresh pressed olive oil.
To check out 'OLIVE' their offerings, visit their website!
After you get your holiday gifts at Temecula Olive Oil Company,
get even more in the spirit on the Temecula Valley Woman's Club Holiday Home Tour!
The tour will be held in La Cresta this year and features 5 over-the-top estates decked out with tinsel and bells for your viewing pleasure.
The tour will be held on November 10th & 11th from 10 am to 4 pm. Visit their website to purchase your tickets.
Would you like to share holiday cheer for all of Temecula to hear!
Applications are now open for the Electric Light Parade on November 30th at 7pm in Old Town.
The parade travels south through Old Town with twinkling floats, holiday music, a special Santa sighting,
and much more as we celebrate the holiday season. All entries must be decked out in lights and incorporate this year's parade theme
…celebrating 25 years of Christmas Pride! If you're interested in joining the parade, head on over to the City's website to apply now!
If you're looking for a way to give back as Veteran's Day approaches, check out Help Heal Veterans!
This organization is a non-profit whose mission is to provide therapeutic craft kits to every veteran who wants them.
Join Help Heal Veterans on November 3rd or 10th from 8am to noon at their headquarters in Winchester, California
and assist in the packaging of craft kits for veterans.
To date, Help Heal Veterans has delivered over 29 million craft kits worldwide! Lend a hand, and Help a Vet!
That's it for me guys, see you next week!
