Hello everyone my name is Jasmine and I am the youtuber Educated Natural. I am really
passionate about natural hair. I went natural in 2008 and I really had a
TWA. This is where I made my big chop
I really had a little afro. After that, I transitioned
to dreadlocks and in 2014 I decided to undo my hair because
I found it a little too big or not very uniform. It took 1h30 per dread
to undo soit was a pretty rigorous process
I do not really regret my choice because I love
my natural hair. What Does Natural hair mean to you?
To be natural to me is to be who I am
It is the extension of me! It is
to represent our entire our black history
through the course of time.
It really matters to me!
Keep it simple! I like the liberated look of the face.
I like it when it is bright, you'll see under my eyes
I often put colors, i like it a lot. Also, for my
hair it is super important to have fun and to be creative
try new hairstyles from time to time. And test new hairstyles
that we do not necessarily see on social media Or on the internet
but having fun doing different things to get to know
your own hair.
My hair inspiration is @RoothiePatootie she has 4C hair
and they are super long and beautiful. I aspire to have
hair like her. Otherwise there is @jessicapatheway, she is a well-know youtuber
I find it very inspiring as a natural hair woman
and as a business women.
It was at my cousin's wedding and I decided to have red hair
but I bought a box of orange dye. Also at the
I thought the color of my eyebrows had to match with the
color of my hair so I put the dye
in my hair and my eyebrows. I looked like Ronald Mcdonald at the wedding. In addition,
I was one of the bridesmaids and the dress was also orange so oh my gosh
it was a total fiasco!
No shampoo
Braid out
It is a tricked question for me because I like to use oils
but also mixed butters so I am very mixed.
DYI
Thanks!
