Mancheste United face the tricky task of toppling Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in their Champions League group stage clash tonight

The Red Devils have one major injury concern going into the game against former superstar Cristiano Ronaldo

Jose Mourinho has confirmed Romelu Lukaku will miss the game through injury. Speaking in his pre-game press conference, he said: "[Lukaku is] injured for [tonight] and we don't know for Sunday [vs Manchester City]

" Lukaku's injury is a blow for United, though Jesse Lingard is set to make his first start for the club since September after recovering from injury

The England international is likely to start ahead of Alexis Sanchez on the right wing, with in-form Anthony Martial on the left

Marcus Rashford is likely to get the nod to start through the middle for United, though Mourinho is hoping for a more resilient display at the back

The United boss said: "The reality is that we concede too many goals, and the way that we concede them shows our weaknesses

"Weaknesses that sometimes you can hide, sometimes you can't." Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling will start in the heart of the defence, while Ander Herrera is set to add steel to the midfield alongside Nemanja Matic in a bid to keep Juventus at bay

Predicted Man Utd team vs Juventus (4-3-3) De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Herrera, Matic, Pogba; Lingard, Rashford, Martial

Liverpool news: Former Red reveals key problem, recommends Jurgen Klopp solution - Duration: 3:43.

The Reds were beaten 2-0 by Red Star in the Champions League in a disappointing blow to their hopes of reaching the knockout stages

Milan Pavkov's two first-half strikes did the damage at the Marakana, the first coming just minutes after Daniel Sturridge missed a huge chance at the other end to put the visitors ahead

Liverpool sought a comeback and improved in the second half, but could not find a goal to pile the pressure on - Andy Robertson's deflected cross and a Mohamed Salah strike both coming back off the woodwork while Salah, Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk all had chances

And Jurgen Klopp acknowledged his side were well below par and that Red Star were the deserving winners

When asked if he could put his finger on what went wrong, the German said: "I only have 10 fingers

"  But Nicol - who won the European Cup in a 13-year spell playing for Liverpool - thinks the main reason for their poor performance was tiredness

And he believes that Klopp can rectify the problem by changing formation. He told ESPN FC: "They look tired

Since the Spurs game back in September they've had a lot of games, pretty much every four days including the international break as well

"They look jaded. When the team looks jaded, I think you have to change the system

"Klopp did it today in the second half of the game, they went to three at the back and they dominated the second half so maybe that's the way for him to go to try and get some legs back

" Despite the setback, Nicol is confident Liverpool can still progress to the last-16 - knowing a win away at Paris Saint-Germain later this month would do the trick with a game to spare

Quizzed as to whether Liverpool can win at PSG, Nicol added: "Yes they can, if they perform to a level that we know that they can

Yes they can. But will they?  "Will PSG up a level that they haven't done so far? You have to think that at some stage PSG are going to step on the field and show us what they're really all about

"We know how good Napoli can be, I mean look at them against PSG away from home

"I think they're favourites, Liverpool, because if you give them at the start of this campaign - 'If you beat Napoli at home, you're probably going to go through' then you would have taken it all day long

[But] It's tough." Nicol added on ESPN FC Extra Time: "I think they'll be okay but let's be honest, you could put a case up for every one of those three teams why they would go through

"It's really in the balance. I think they'll go with PSG but it's going to be really, really tight

"

Guendouzi, Sokratis, Monreal - Arsenal team news and expected XI vs Sporting CP - Duration: 3:06.

Arsenal will be looking to secure qualification for the knockout stages of the Europa League on Thursday night when they host Sporting CP at the Emirates

Unai Emery's side sit top of Group E with a 100 per cent record having won all three of their opening games so far this season

A win on Thursday night will guarantee them passage through to the group stages with two games remaining and will allow Emery to rotate his squad massively for those remaining matches against Vorskla and Qarabag

As has been the case so far in the competition, the Spaniard is expected to freshen things up on Thursday night from the starting XI that featured against Liverpool at the weekend, but it will still be a team that is packed full of international experience

Teenager Emile Smith Rowe is expected to get another start, however, and will hoping to add to the goals he has scored against Qarabag and Blackpool this season

Petr Cech will start in goal with Stephan Lichtsteiner expected to come on the right side of a defence that could see Rob Holding partner Shkodran Mustafi once again at centre-back, with Sokratis (ankle) to be assessed ahead of kick-off

Nacho Monreal (hamstring) is also expected to miss out once again, with Emery having to decide whether to play Sead Kolasinac or Ainsley Maitland-Niles at left-back

Matteo Guendouzi will come back into midfield having sat out the draw against Liverpool due to suspension and he could start alongside Lucas Torreira, with usual Europa League starter Mohamed Elneny out with a thigh problem

Danny Welbeck, who scored the winner against Sporting CP in Lisbon a fortnight ago, will once again lead the front line - with Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan expected to line up on either side of the England international

Expected Arsenal XI vs Sporting CP: Cech, Lichtsteiner, Mustafi, Pleguezuelo, Kolasinac, Guendouzi, Torreira, Smith Rowe, Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Welbeck

Chelsea transfer news Malcom to be 'offered to Blues' despite DREAM Champions League debut - Duration: 3:02.

CHELSEA will be offered the chance to sign 'damaged' Barcelona star Malcom, claim report from Spain

The winger looked set to join Roma from Bordeaux in the summer before Barca snapped him up for £35m

Malcolm, 21, has found minutes hard to come by since his move to the Nou Camp. But just two minutes after coming off the bench last night, Malcom scored to give Barcelona a 1-0 win over Inter at San Siro

Prior to the game, however, it had been reported that Barcelona are already prepared to offload the winger

Mundo Deportivo claims sources at the club insist they fear the 21-year-old is 'mentally depressed' and not in a position to challenge for a first-team place

Chelsea could be the beneficiaries of the decision, although the Catalan giants would want fellow Brazilian Willian in return

According to La Sexta, the Blues attacker's representatives have already met with Barcelona to discuss a transfer

Barca are set to offer the former Corinthians attacker as well as £17m to lure Chelsea into doing a deal for Willian

Although after his winning goal yesterday, Malcom gave the impression that he is not ready to quit the Nou Camp just yet

Chelsea news: Malcom scored on his European debut for European last night .Chelsea news: Could Malcom end up at Chelsea

Barcelona was a dream I had as a child," he said."To debut in the Champions League and score a goal, I will celebrate with the family

My dream at Barca is starting, my dream is to make history and do great things."I have to thank the group for giving me confidence

I want to play more.Chelsea news: Willian is wanted by Barcelona ."Every day I train to be able to show that I have the quality to be in this group

.Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri is reportedly ready to leave Eden Hazard out of Chelsea squad for BATE Borisov

The Belgian missed last week's 4-0 win against Burnley and could only manage 30 minutes against Crystal Palace due to a back injury

Sarri doesn't want to Hazard to travel the 2,300 miles to Belarus and back for fear of exacerbating his pain
