FROM OUTTA NOWHERE after this video goes live - where I'll mostly be telling you to buy
a ticket to WrestleTalk's live show in London next Tuesday 13th November, where Luke, Fakidor
and I will be hosting a screening of one of the best wrestling movies of all time Beyond
the Mat at Leicester Square's Prince Charles Cinema.
"Oh, but I don't live in England, I live in America."
I've had enough of your damn excuses, Nia Jax - just stay an extra few days after the
European Tour.
Speaking of people who aren't somewhere… segway.
CM Punk Chants On WWE SmackDown ...CM Punk definitely isn't on WWE, and
it'll very likely stay that way for a long, long time.
But that didn't stop the Manchester crowd chanting his name on last night's episode
of SmackDown.
Shane McMahon won the World Cup To Determine the Best in the World at Crown Jewel last
Friday.
Booooo.
As Punk used to refer to himself as the Best in the World, the more optimistic parts of
the Internet have Shane's win as evidence Punk will be returning to WWE to start a feud
with him - boooo.
When, much more likely, it's just WWE's latest way to annoy Punk.
After Shane shut down CM Punk chants in a World Cup segment last week saying "I don't
believe he's in the tournament", the SmackDown Live Commissioner held a brief Best in the
World cup presentation ceremony on last night's episode which was first greeted by boos, and
then a heavy 'CM Punk' chant - as Matty Paddock posted on Twitter:
"Paige starts the show by introducing Shane McMahon to a hugely negative reaction - and
CM Punk chants! expect that to be edited heavily.
🙄" With a video of
the chants.
While the chant was audible on the edited broadcast of the show, the sound was apparently
much louder in the arena.
CM Punk return confirmed!
WWE Injuries And WWE could do with him, because a slew
of injuries appear to be catching up with the main roster.
Wrestling Observer Radio are reporting that Alexa Bliss is still recovering from the after
effects of a concussion she suffered back in September, which is why she's been announced
in a non-wrestling capacity at Survivor Series as the Raw Women's team captain.
It's possible that Bliss will be cleared before then, but with the pay-per-view only
two weeks away, WWE decided to keep her out the ring in case she isn't.
And following Roman Reigns' shock leukemia announcement last month, putting the company's
top star out indefinitely, one of the wrestlers they're grooming to fill his Big Dawg status
might also be working injured.
The Wrestling Observer has noted that Braun Strowman's knees are "shot" and it's
possible he's been working through injury for the last several weeks, with the F5 bump
outside the ring at Friday's Crown Jewel possibly making the injury worse.
This could be why Strowman didn't wrestle on this week's episode of Raw, and why he
didn't have his usual superhuman speed when chasing after Baron Corbin backstage.
And following WWE announcing Triple H had torn his right pectoral muscle in Crown Jewel's
main event - an injury that takes between 5-9 months to recover from, possibly ruling
him out of the rumoured WrestleMania 35 match with Batista teased at SmackDown 1000 - Triple
H has revealed how yesterday's operation to repair the tear went:
"Out of surgery, happy to report all is well.
Thanks to excellent medical care of Dr. Dugas and his team and all the well wishes, messages,
tweets, and texts I got over the weekend.
Road to recovery starts...
NOW.
#GameTime" Which led Balor to tweet: "Like father,
like son.
Get well soon @TripleH !" with a side-by-side picture of Triple H's post-surgery image,
and Finn's following his torn labrum operation after vacating the Universal title in August
2016.
In addition to those, the Wrestling Observer have speculated Jinder Mahal is also working
through injury, and PWInsider are reporting the reason Zelina Vega was missing from this
week's episode of SmackDown - where she was conspicuous by her absence in Andrade
'Cien' Almas' corner against Rey Mysterio - is because she suffered a concussion when
she was thrown out the ring by Nia Jax in the Evolution Battle Royal on October 28th.
Vega has been kept off WWE's current European tour as a precaution, and they're running
with the storyline that she had "business elsewhere".
