it is day of the dead, Dia de los Muertos, and we are so excited so I think for the
next three days in Guanajuato there are so many events planned so we are gonna
go to a couple of street fairs today and we are just gonna enjoy this awesome
holiday I'm so glad to be here let's go
okay remember when I thought it was crowded during Cervantino
okay so we are in the tunnel now for this street festival for Day of the Dead
for Dia de Muertos oh my gosh it's really cool
hold on a second Harper's hungry there are food vendors and arts and crafts and
places to get a drink up here are some of the mummies from the Mummy Museum
and a big ofrenda they've got a place to watch movies on they're playing Coco right
now
this is really really cool having it here in this on this street and in this
tunnel it's just very atmospheric it's very cool down this
there is a coffin set up here and a big line and everybody's like
oh is it a mummy? is it a mummy? and everybody's going up there and when you
look down into the coffin to see the mummy it's a mirror
Hi Jesse
Hi
What do you think about Day of the Dead so far?
there's a lot of people
a lot of live people huh?
yeah those are the ones that bother me
that's that's true
so they've brought some of the mummies from the mummy Museum and they're
displaying them in these glass cases and if you haven't watched the video about
mummy museum I'll link it up here it's interesting because seeing them here is
a very different experience it's almost like a big party and they're the guests
of honor it's almost like it's it's a very it's kind of a very happy festive
feeling like come to the party like welcome have fun
I kind of like that. It's nice to see my friends
so down at the end of this festival is a big movie screen and they've been
playing different movies and right now it's Coco there's this big crowd of
people with all these kids on their parents' shoulders watching the movie it's
really really cute
