Real Madrid can take a big step towards qualification from their Champions League group with a victory over Viktoria Plzen

Despite a tumultuous start to the season for Los Blancos, they remain top of Group G and will be hoping to rack up their third European win out of four games this season

Interim boss Santiago Solari has some huge decisions to make ahead of Real Madrid's first game since the departure of Julen Lopetegui

Gareth Bale has struggled in front of goal during 2018/19, scoring just once since the first day of September

The Welshman has come under intense scrutiny since Cristiano Ronaldo departed the club in the summer

Wonderkid striker Vinicius Junior scored his first goal for Real Madrid in the victory over Valladolid last week and is applying real pressure on the more senior misfiring strikers

Bale is likely to remain in the starting XI against Viktoria Plzen in a bid to boost his confidence, but Vinicius could be used as a wildcard from the bench

Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal and Jesus Vallejo are all ruled out of the clash, giving Solari a defensive puzzle to solve

Youngster Sergio Reguilon is set to retain his place in the defence alongside Sergio Ramos, Nacho and Alvaro Odriozola

Keylor Navas has been the regular starter in Champions League games ahead of Thibaut Courtois this season, and it will be interesting to see whether Solari maintains that policy

Predicted Real Madrid team vs Viktoria Plzen (4-3-3) Navas; Odriozola, Nacho, Ramos, Reguilon; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Bale, Benzema, Isco

EastEnders exit for major character after horror death hoax - Daily News - Duration: 2:29.

Bonnie Langford bid farewell to EastEnders tonight after Carmel Kazemi went to extreme lengths to ensure that Keegan Taylor learnt his lesson

Last week the grieving mum made Keegan think that he had killed someone after bringing a knife out to the streets

Keegan, who is still struggling to come to terms with his friend Shakil's death, was overcome with guilt as he told his mum what he had done

As a horrified Karen shouted after him, Keegan went to the police station to hand himself in

But after a bizarre interrogation by a police officer, he was blasted for wasting police time as no one had been murdered in Walford that day

After making his way back to the Square, he lashed out at Carmel - who stood her ground

"You went to knife him - you wanted to kill him," she snarled back at him. "I wanted you to know how that feels, I wanted you to suffer

"  Keegan ran back home and let out his anger at his brother and mum by pulling out a knife

But after being forced to put it down, mum Karen punched him and told him to talk to Carmel

Just as Carmel was about to leave in the taxi to head to the airport to Dubai, she stopped the cab to speak to Keegan once more

After their heart-to-heart, she finally left Walford.  Could she return?   *EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7

Matthew McConaughey really wanted to play Jack in 'Titanic' - News Live - Duration: 1:37.

Matthew McConaughey really wanted to be the king of the world.  "I went and auditioned for ['Titanic']," the "White Boy Rick" actor said during an interview on Hollywood Reporter's "Awards Chatter" podcast

"I wanted that. I auditioned with Kate Winslet. Had a good audition. Walked away from there pretty confident that I had it

I didn't get it. I never got offered that."  The part went to Leonardo DiCaprio, launching him to stardom

McConaughey joked though, "And as I've said before not even half jokingly if it's true, if that was an offer and it didn't come to me, I've got to go back and go, 'I've got to meet in an alley with that agent

'"  And while the 49-year-old is confident with all the roles he would eventually go on to decline, there's one role he wishes he would have taken when he had the offer

"I did turn down 'L.A. Confidential,'" he said. "I think it was the Guy Pearce role

And that's a movie I really, really liked. That one sticks out to me as one that I'm like, 'Oh man, that would have been a really good one to be a part of

'"  McConaughey would go on win over women's hearts with "The Wedding Planner," "How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Failure to Launch" before taking home an Oscar in 2014 for "Dallas Buyers Club

"  It might be time for him to let go. Share this:

Breaking News - Leicester prospects Chilwell and Gray called into England squad - Duration: 2:55.

Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray have been given an opportunity to fulfil their dreams after they were promoted to England's senior squad

The Leicester City pair were withdrawn from the Under 21 squad that will travel to Latvia on Monday for a Euro 2019 qualifier to give Gareth Southgate some depth to a group that has been hit by injuries for Tuesday's friendly with Switzerland

They had been based in Norwich since Thursday, after playing in a qualifier against Holland, but they headed to St George's Park on Sunday night to meet up with Southgate's party

Chilwell, the 21-year-old left-back, has started the season in excellent form and he will cover the loss of Luke Shaw, who was left concussed following a sickening clash of heads with Real Madrid's Dani Caravajal during Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Spain

It was confirmed that Shaw had sustained concussion and it is almost certain he will miss Manchester United's clash with Watford next week; the Premier League has strict concussion guidelines and he will not be able to train until receiving clearance

Shaw was able to sit up and talk in the dressing room after being stretchered off

He stayed at St George's Park on Sunday but was expected to report back to United's medical team at Carrington on Monday

His absence, though, provides an opening that Chilwell is desperate to seize. 'I have been at Leicester since I was 12 and to play for England at the King Power Stadium is obviously going to be my dream,' Chilwell said

For Gray, meanwhile, this represents a case of mission finally accomplished. He has spent much of the last 12 months smarting after seeing a succession of his Under 21 colleagues, such as Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke, get calls from Southgate

But the winger, who was excellent for the Under 21s in their 0-0 draw with Holland last Thursday, now has the chance he has craved and he will give pace to an attack that has been left short of options since Raheem Sterling withdrew last Sunday

Southgate admitted on Saturday night that it was highly likely he was going to raid the Under 21s and there is an element of good PR in bringing two Leicester players into the fold; tickets are still on sale for the game

Breaking News - Shaw to report back to Manchester United's medical team on Monday - Duration: 2:03.

Luke Shaw is set to return to Manchester United's medical team on Monday after leaving the England squad having suffered concussion in the Nations League defeat to Spain

Shaw had to be substituted early in the second half at Wembley following a collision with Spain's Dani Carvajal and stayed at St George's Park on Sunday to be monitored

However, the left-back will now return to United for further assessment, with Leicester's Ben Chilwell having been drafted into the squad to replace him, while winger Demarai Gray has also been called up

A statement from the Football Association read: 'Luke Shaw remained at St. George's Park today for further rest and monitoring having sustained concussion against Spain yesterday

He will return to his club tomorrow.' It seems likely that Shaw will miss United's trip to face Watford on Saturday with the Premier League having strict concussions guidelines which dictate that players cannot train until receiving clearance

This injury represents a further setback for Shaw, who seemed to have finally got his career back on track having endured many difficulties after suffering a double leg break while playing for United against PSV in 2015

Shaw had started United's first four games of the season, which included him scoring against Leicester in the opening fixture, and he was named in the starting lineup against Spain

However, Shaw now faces another spell on the sidelines, which means that Ashley Young, who wasn't included in the England squad, could start at left-back against his former club Watford
