Chelsea news: Barcelona claim made about Pedro by BBC pundit Danny Murphy - Duration: 2:24.

 Those are the thoughts of BBC Sport pundit Danny Murphy, who was impressed with the winger's display against Crystal Palace

 Pedro was a constant menace for the Blues against Roy Hodgson's men on Sunday at Stamford Bridge and he got on the scoresheet in a 3-1 victory

 And while accepting the Spaniard hasn't always been at his scintillating best, Murphy thinks the player offers the Blues a different dimension

 "I'm a big fan of Pedro for a couple of reasons," Murphy said on Match of the Day 2 when analysing Pedro's display

 "One, I think the timings of his runs in behind are brilliant. "Too many players don't do that these days

 "His work ethic is also very good. "He hasn't at Chelsea showed the form that he did in that wonderful Barcelona side

 "But when he does play, he's a threat and he got his rewards today." Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri is unsure whether Alvaro Morata, who hit a double against the Palace, can be the main striker for the club

 He said: "I don't know. I think potentially he can. "He has to improve more in personality and in confidence because sometimes he's a little bit fragile

"  Pedro made 136 starts in 204 appearances for Barca compared to 73 in 104 for Chelsea

 His goals record for the west London outfit doesn't stack up as well, scoring just 24 times compared to the 58 he managed at the Nou Camp
