That is the claim of BT Sport pundit Owen Hargreaves, who saw his former club scrape a 1-0 win at home to Young Boys at Old Trafford on Tuesday

United required David de Gea to make a wonder save before Marouane Fellaini sealed the victory with a last-gasp strike in stoppage time

Mourinho's reaction was even more bizarre as he picked up a large crate of water bottles before hurling them to the ground

Although United have been constantly criticised this season, Hargreaves reckons the Red Devils will come good soon

Discussing his thoughts on the state of United after their win over Young Boys, Hargreaves said: "I think this is one of the most expensively assembled group of players

"I feel like there's more there, there's more to come from this Manchester United team

" Mourinho was slammed for his post-match interview, but Hargreaves stood up for the Portuguese tactician

He added: "Give him [Mourinho] credit, they found a way to get through.  "Today they got a result, I thought Mourinho nailed that post-match interview

" United have already booked their place in the knockout stages of the competition and Mourinho reckons the Red Devils face a tough task trying to reach the quarter-finals, adding: "Realistically to be in the last 16 is an achievement, not a big one or a fantastic one, but an achievement

"There are better teams than us. "Teams with more quality and realistic ambitions

"When a team arrives in the quarter-finals, anything can happen." United are second in Group H with 10 points and have qualified for the last 16 with a game to spare
