Here is this crochet diamond , in two corners it is larger than on the others.
Why is it useful for?
well, for example for crocheting this triangular scarf, we need that this part of the peak
is not too wide, nevertheless we want it to be long enough to go around
the neck
In order to join the diamonds, me must join the wider part with
the narrow one, in every corner, we join the wide part with the narrow one.

now I should do 3 chains but I go to the other side and I do not want to so
instead of crocheting 3 chains, I crochet
a DC and you can see I stay on this side.
Now inside this gap, I crochet 6 DC separated by two chains
here inside these wide corners, I will separate them with 4 chains
Let´s start, 3 chains equivalent to a DC and two DC,
2 chains and 3DC in the same place, two chains
and then, I will crochet 6 separated by 4 chains: 1,2,3, and 4 chains.
and here 3 DC, 2 chains and here 6DC
separated by 2 chains... 2 chains and 3 DC, 2 chains
and here 6DC but because it is the wide corner, I will separate them with
4 chains, 1 DC, 2, 3, separated by 4 chains and 3 DC
Here, I should do 2 chains but I want to stay on this side, in order to make it possible
I crochet a half double crochet and I go through the third chain
pull the thread, and I go through all the threads and I stay on this side.
Here in the middle, I crochet 3 DC , the first one with three chains,
one DC and another DC
At the corner, it is the same, 6 DC separated with 2 chains and on the wide
corner, separated by 4 chains... 2 chains and here I am going to crochet 6DC separated
by 2 chains, and three DC, 2 chains and here in the middle, 3 DC, 2 chains
and 3 DC, I am already at the corner. Now I should do 4 chains and
3 DC, but I am going to join the diamonds, I begin with the corner
we join them by the 2 chains here, this corner is the wide one, I have to
look for a narrow one, I have to join it here, In the corner there are 4 chains
I have to do it so: I crochet the first one, the second one is going to serve me to join it to the corner and I crochet 2 more chains
and then I crochet 3 DC as isual in the corner, now I have to crochet
two chains but I am going to join them by the chains here
I crochet a slip stitch in the first one and another slip stitch on the second one, and now
3 DC, you do not have to join the DC, so you can crochet them easily,
1,2, 3 but now I have to crochet two chains, I join them with these ones
I go through the first one, I pull the thread and slip it through, I go throught the second one, yarn over and I slip it
I am already at the corner, I am going to crochet the first 3 DC
and then I join the diamond to the corner... 3 DC, this is the narrow corner
separated by two chains, so, the first chain is going to
be joined to the corner and then I crochet another chain, and 3DC more in the corner
This side is then joined, so I go on normally,
2 chains, 3 DC and I go on and here I finish

I will crochet one in the middle of the diamond, crochet 6 chains, 1,2,3,4,5,6
and you go through the same SC with a slip stitch, again, 1,2,3,4,5,6
and a slip stich at the same place
and then again, 1, 2... let´s see...
3, 4... when we want to make it fast... 5 and 6 and a slip stitch at the same place
I go on crocheting SC, here as there are two chains
I will crochet 2 SC, here 3 DC, so I crochet 3 SC
On this side, I will only crochet SC
In order to join this little triangle, you have to join this DC
to the corner and then join it by the chains as I did before
This peak has to match with the corner.
