[Jason Dunkerely runs with guide Jérémie Venne at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London] My name is Jason Dunkerley. I'm a blind middle-distance runner and I was a student at Ottawa U.

[Jason as a young boy, standing outside] I grew up in Northern Ireland with two brothers who were also blind, and my parents encouraged us to be

[Jason as a teenager, sitting in a living room with his family] active as kids and to play outside. Sometimes it can be difficult for kids who are blind

[Jason jogging on a running track with other runners] to participate in physical activity. But my parents felt that it was important for us to have the experience of being active

[Jason with family members at a race] and involved in different sports. Even on our own, they encouraged us to develop and adapt

[Jason, with a medal around his neck, alongside three other athletes after a race] our own games. So we would play soccer with a plastic grocery bag tied around a soccer ball and we also learned to ride bikes.

[Jason and another athlete after a race] We moved to Canada in 1991, when I was 13. My brothers and I attended a school for

[An advertisement features Jason as an RBC Olympian] students who are blind and visually impaired in Brantford, Ontario, and we were really encouraged to participate

[Jason and his guide race on a track with other athletes] in a variety of different sports. I caught the running bug as I went through high school. I went to the University of Guelph

[Jason and his guide at the 2015 Parapan American Games in Toronto] to pursue an undergrad in international development. They have one of the top varsity running programs in the country, so it was pretty

[Jason running alongside other athletes at the 2016 Rio Paralympics] intimidating for me to go to a school like that, where there were so many top runners. I qualified

[Jason runs with guide Jérémie Venne alongside other athletes at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London] for my first international team in 1998 and I've been part of the national team since then. So, 19 years,

[Close-up of Jason and guide Jérémie Venne racing in London, connected by a hand-held tether] and it has taken me to five Paralympics – and, most recently, this year, I had the chance, along with my guide Jérémie, to compete

[Jason with guide Jérémie Venne, with medals around their necks, on the podium in London] at the World Para Athletics Championships in London. Ottawa U is also part of my story.

[Jason in a coffee shop at uOttawa] I moved to Ottawa in 2003 and worked, while training, for about 10 years. But I had the chance to come back

[Promotional material for the one-year, bilingual Master of Arts in World Literatures and Cultures] to school here to pursue a master's in world literatures and cultures. It was a phenomenal opportunity for me

[Hamelin Hall at uOttawa] to further my learning and to be challenged in a really exciting way – the chance to have amazing conversations and

[Jason in a restaurant having dinner with classmates] to be exposed to some pretty brilliant people and very supportive professors. What made it possible was

[Jason sitting on a couch] support from Access Service here, because without that I wouldn't have been able to have access to Braille and

[Jason with guide Jérémie Venne holding a Canadian flag at the World Para Athletics Championships in London] adapted texts and things that I would need to pursue the master's. So I'm really

[uOttawa logo] grateful for that opportunity and very fortunate to have had the chance to be here.

☆ Introduction to my weight loss journey // My story ☆ - Duration: 7:53.

I think it is emotional

Hello my name is Ana Gabriela but I love when people call me just Gabriela

In this video you will hear

my story of how

I gained all the weight that I have right now

But

before I start

I want to tell you two things

First, I know I look terrible!

But

After I finish filming, I'm going to the gym

and I don't want to wear make up

Because I like to let my skin breath

and second, I'm sorry for the background sounds

It's just that I live in a main street and a lot of cars and people pass by and make a lot of noise

Even if i go to the last floor of my house you will hear it

I started to gain weight when I was 12 years old

My grandma (mom's mother)

She was diagnosed with liver cancer and she was

like my second mom and that was super hard for me

because I was with her

every single day

and I actually lived with her almost my entire childhood

and...

when she was diagnosed with cancer

the first thing I did was to start eating a lot

but it was hard to notice because I practiced volleyball

in my school since I was 9

So I had been playing volleyball for 3 years

training everyday and

the practice were a little hard so

i was doing a lot of physical activity

and i had a way to "hide"

all the weight I was gaining

One year later my grandma passed away

and that was even more harder for me

So if I was sad the first thing I would

was look for food

If I was stressed, or any way the first I would do was look for food

and also I quit to

play volleyball, I didn't have motivation

for anything

I did not want to get to my home

and get ready to go to practice

and I did not have the support from a friend

I went through all by myself

actually, none of my friends knew when my grandma passed away

they knew 3 days later because I did not go to school

So all I did was to eat, eat and eat...

then the weight was very noticeable until 6 months later

that I went back to volleyball practice

my coach was the best

and he was always there for me

and he never told me "no, you left for six months"

3 years later

I graduated form High school

and..

this was a stressful time for me

very very stressful because I didn't know what I wanted to do

I was looking for careers and couldn't find something

that I liked it and my mom was telling me

to be a nurse or go to med school

So I didn't know what I wanted to study

also, we started to have some family issues in my house with my parents

So, it was like more and more things happening

and more and more weight I was gaining

and with all of this

when i graduated from HS I was

weighing 65 kgs (143 lbs)

I measure 1.70cm (5'7")

I am tall even though I don't feel like it

I feel pretty normal

But the anxiety and all of this

I gained

20 kgs more

So right now I am weighing 85 kgs (187 lbs)

that is the heaviest I've ever been

because never, never

I had weighed this much

So

I know a lot of people

that is doing this

because it is the "fitness season"

just for the beauty standards that society is creating

but to be honest i'm not doing it for this

I'm doing it for my health

because

my family health records

are not the best

my dad's family

has suffered from hear attacks,

diabetes,

high blood pressure

and my mom's family has also suffered diabetes,

heart attacks, cancer

So, i'm doing this

for my health more than vanity

or to be liked by someone

because

I feel able to do it right now and I don't want

to be in a place where

I won't be able to run because I am obese

or my knees are too weak

or I don't feel strong or I don't have energy

so that's why I am doing it right now

and i want to do it with you guys

because I know a lot of people want to do it

and they don't have the motivation or push to start doing it

and yes, every week

on wednesday i will upload a video

sharing my progress

I'm not going to starve myself or something like that

I will try to do everything right

but also remember that I am not a professional

it is possible that I make my mistakes

but i think that from this

i will learn a lot of things

and I hope the good ones are more than the bad ones

and yes...

if you want to lose weight

for health reasons or beauty

subscribe to my channel

and..

let's do it!

Let's get fit and to feel good

and also...

i am the type of person that

read before I do anything

and I've been reading a lot

about health

whether they are recipes or tips

literally anything

and I am also watching documentaries

So I think I am ready to do it

my way

at a pace that I can hold

and get tired

so yes, let's start this journey

every wednesday wait for a new video

and every sunday look for a fashion, beauty or lifestyle video

well, see you in my next video

on wednesday or next sunday

I send you a kiss and don't forget to subscribe!

La Dame de Monsoreau | Grafinya de Monsoro 12 (English subtitles) (Russia 1998) - Duration: 52:04.

Name?

I would prefer to write it down myself.

Here you go.

-And your book as well, if you please. -Go on.

Monsieur, you have wonderful handwriting!

I think so too.

Do you have a third book, by any chance?

A third book?

No, we don`t.

What a pity!

So you are here after all, my son.

Such fervour! Such warmth dispensed today by our faith in the streets of my good city!

Yes. Heretics must be especially warm now!

Did you know they take you for an heretic?

-Long live the duke de Mayenne! -Long live de Guise!

What are those shouts about?

Those shouts? They prove one thing- that each is good in his own place...

The duke de Guise - in the streets, and you, my friend, in the Louvre.

Return to the Louvre - I will escort you to the gate, yes?

Will you stay with us?

No, I have a strong desire to see how the spectacle ends!

Stay here then.

Let me see you home first.

Based on a novel by Alexandre Dumas (père)

La Dame de Monsoreau

Episode 12

My lord...

Count, are you awake?

His Highness, the duke of Anjou, is here.

Let him in.

Why has no one informed me that Bussy was ill until now?

Messieurs, wait for me here.

Bussy!

Bussy, what happened to you?!

Are you so ill that you cannot reply?

I am gravely ill in truth, Monseigneur.

It is far too dark in here!

This could easily induce dark moods!

By the way, why has no one sent for Miron to treat you?

Ah... The king`s physician is not good enough for Bussy, is he?

Talk to me, please.

What about?

Did something distressing happen?

Are you angry with me?

Angry? Why?

Besides, one cannot be angry with princes, Monseigneur.

What is the use?

But we are wasting time here. You need me for something, do you not?

Of course you have need of me!

Did you really think I would believe you came to visit me here out of friendship?

You are going too far, Bussy!

What is it you want, Monseigneur?

Get to the point.

I require nothing of you.

Whether you believe it or not.

You were mistaken... Wrong to assume that I came here for the sake of convenience.

I just wanted to suggest a stroll in the city - the weather is lovely!

And all of Paris is astir with the news of multitudes enrolling in the League.

It is dangerous in the city and you need my sword.

But you have a dozen noblemen with you...

And where is Aurilly? Ah yes, I forgot - he is in charge... of other duties.

Wait please, you are not permitted in there!

But I am.

Who is there?!

Who dared to step into a room I am in unannounced?

It is I, Remy.

Come in, Remy!

I am the count`s physician.

Remy is more than just a physician for me, Monseigneur.

Did you hear His Highness` request?

Yes, but...

But what?

But you will not accompany His Highness, count.

And why is that?

It is far too cold outside and I forbade the count to leave the house.

Too cold?

Yes, too cold.

Bussy, you should have called Miron- he is a real physician!

I prefer advice of a doctor who is my friend to that of a doctor who is only a scientist.

Well then... If a stroll is so detrimental to your health, remain here.

So you have decided - you do not wish to take a risk!

Have you not heard that my doctor forbids me to put myself at risk?

Farewell then.

Farewell, Monseigneur.

And now... rise! And hurry.

Orville! Clothes for your master!

What for?

To go on a stroll! The room is far too warm. I am convinced that fresh air will benefit you.

Wait, Remy, I do not understand.

A stroll with the duke of Anjou would have been a danger for you...

But with your doctor it would be reviving!

Do you truly think so?

And where will we go, monsieur more-than-a-doctor?

Oh, to a certain district, where, as I found out, the air is truly... balsamic!

And healing...

Brothers! Today is a lovely day for our faith! A most excellent one!

Excellent! And why, you may ask? Because...

-Burn the Huguenots! -Burn the Huguenots!

To the bonfire with them all!

Well, Henri, here we part ways - you go to the left towards the Louvre, and I...

Wait, who is that?

Gorenflot, in the flesh! That preacher from St. Genevieve you were told about.

This wine barrel could hardly be the fountain of eloquence in question!

So I ask - what is our land, eh?

And I answer - our land is the vale of sadness and grief...

Because the man, for most of his life, cannot still his thirst!

He is dead-drunk!

Why did I come here? I came here to see what was happening!

What is happening here, brothers? Maybe Herod has been dethroned? Haha!

Or has someone imprisoned the tyrant in a monastery?

-My sword hand is itching to kill the swine! - No, there is no need.

I will give orders to have him hanged.

-Impossible! -Why?!

He has no neck!

Today, all our people have risen... to protect... devout Catholics!

As long as even a single Huguenot degenerate is alive in France, Catholics will not know peace!

-To arms, Catholics! -To arms!

Someone stop this drunk before he unleashes a second St. Bartholomew`s Day massacre!

-Brothers! Burn the Huguenots! -Burn the Huguenots!

Take it, vile beast!

Well, it looks like that good-for-nothing has disappeared again...

-Let us return to the Louvre. -Yes, it is time, Sire!

I could no longer endure that drunk insulting you!

Agrippa, you were careless!

And besides, why the hell have we returned to Paris?

To make love, dear philanderer?

Today we nearly got into trouble at least twenty times because of you!

I swear upon my honour, dear Agrippa - no affairs of non-political kind this time!

One could go mad - there is always some skirt sticking to you one way or another!

No grumbling, it is a lovely day today!

Some Parisians hate me wholeheartedly and would kill me without pity...

.. while others are helping me to clear the way to the throne!

Where are we?

This is the Rue de la Ferronnerie, Your Majesty, and it smells like rotten vegetables.

When I am king here, I will have a monument erected in this place.

It is a wonderful street! I feel closer to my goal now...

Aha! It is the king of Navarre!

Praise the Lord, we have arrived!

You there, wake up!

At last, I have been so worried!

Hide in the carriage - it is safer, you might be recognized outside!

Then let me... I hope you do not mind if I sit at your side.

I have missed you so much!

Oh Henri, Paris without you is unbearable, I am dying of boredom!

Gabrielle... How can you be bored here at court, surrounded by so many handsome, powerful men?

Have you longed for me while in the arms of the duke of Anjou?

You know all too well that I am indifferent to them...

You know full well that I love you, that I am true to you - in my heart.

Yes, I know, Gabrielle.

You are a true friend.

And I value this more than any romantic love, even a most passionate one!

Sire, my soul wishes only for one thing - to see the one I love crowned by glory and grandeur!

And, to this end, I will serve the duke of Anjou as you require of me.

Dear Gabrielle...

When all my plans come to fruition, I will reward you.

I will reward you the way you deserve!

Agrippa, come! We are leaving!

No, you will only embarrass me.

Then close the door, you bear of Bearn, and do as you please!

Go!

Out of the way, away with you!

This day defies belief! Today I met the duke de Guise, Mayenne, Henri de Valois and Navarre!

Henri of Navarre is in Paris!

But should my king know it? This is the question!

And why should he?

I do like this Bearnais - here is a competent heir to the throne!

His arrogance only lacks power to become greatness.

I think I will keep it to myself.

Besides, it is of little import.

It is I who rules this kingdom anyway.

That de Guise still worries me though...

I think I will return to the "Lodestar"...

Long live de Guise!

Where are we going, Remy?

A little patience, monsieur, we are almost there!

Look at this lovely street!

Is this a hoax, Remy? You dragged me from home for fresh air only to lead me to some suburb...

Just look at this church, monsieur! Such a nice one...

The location is excellent - the facade is facing the street, and there is small garden in the back...

Patience, just a moment!

Go, monsieur, go - someone is expecting you in the little garden!

Please sit, monsieur.

Please.

Our meeting is not a coincidence.

I asked monsieur Remy for help in order to meet you.

I wanted to prove to you that I not one of those women who forget easily...

I learned of your illness - but I have been suffering no less than you, for monsieur Remy told me...

That it was... your forgetfulness which caused my suffering?

He told you the truth.

Do forgive me, madame, but you are so unlike other women...

And yet... you acted the way the most ordinary one would.

This marriage of yours, this alliance!

But you do know I was forced to marry!

I know.

But you could have had your marriage dissolved easily.

Did you not feel that there was someone...

Someone so devoted to you!

But monsieur... A woman cannot change the name she accepted before God without dishonour!

No, I understand.

But I know one thing - you preferred Monsoreau, became his wife and took his name!

So this is what you think of me...

Well then, it is for the better.

It must be fate.

Fate?

So I am to become who I used to be...

A stranger to you.

But how could I expect anything else after that display in the Louvre.

You were ignoring me.

Not a single glance from you!

I could not - monsieur de Monsoreau was at my side!

He is... extremely jealous.

If only you knew what my life has become after your marriage was recognized by the court!

I know.

I have suffered as well - same as you.

I was afraid your illness would prevent us from meeting.

My husband, out of jealousy for the person we both know, demands that I leave Paris.

This meeting is our last.

I will depart for Meridor tomorrow.

You are leaving so soon?

I have no choice.

Father will accompany me.

Farewell, monsieur de Bussy!

Then all is finished for me.

Why do you say this?

Why indeed!

I said this because...

Because, to that man who is exiling you...

The man who is depriving me of the only possibility of breathing the same air as you...

Of seeing your shadow behind the curtains, touching your dress in passing...

And worship a living being, yes, a living one, not a shadow!

To that man, it is not enough that you are his wife!

You, the most chaste of all of Lord`s creatures - and he dares to be jealous!

Jealous!

Please calm down, please, monsieur de Bussy!

Perhaps he is not to blame. If only you knew...

If I knew?

My lady, I know only one thing - a husband with such a wife should not have a care in the world!

So this is what you think...

But what if you were wrong?

My marriage to monsieur de Monsoreau... has not been consummated!

-Madame, I beg you, stay... -Please let me go!

-Madness! -Please, I love you, I cannot live without you!

-Please, someone might see! -I cannot let you, Diana, I love you!

Just tell me - may I hope?

Yes... Yes!

Get rid of those Huguenots!

I think that we can play a nice prank here- without upsetting His Majesty!

Who do you think you are?!

Get him! Good neighbors, help us!!!

Grab him!

Let me go! Let me go at once! No no, too hot!

Look, look!

And now shout "Glory to the League!" and "Long live the duke of Anjou!"

Serves him right! Yes!

And again!

Glory to the League! Long live the duke of Anjou!

Drink some more colour!

Long live the duke of Mayenne! Glory to the League!

Here is the monk I told you about, brother...

Glory to the League!

And now speak! What were you doing in Lyon?

In Lyon? I was given Jerez in Lyon!

This you have already told us, more!

Then I will continue... Myself, with Panurge...

Or was it with my friend?.. Pour some more, please, while I speak...

We... were supposed to hear the confession of... -Continue, you drunk!

I come in and tell him... repent! You, disgusting spawn of herecy!

I tell him... cough them up, you villain! Cough up those, er, Huguenot papers you are hiding under your mattress!

-Did he give them to you? -Yes!

-Or no? -So is it a yes or a no?!

-A hint - he gave them up! But not to me... -To whom then?!

He gave them to my friend!

To tell the truth, before this happened, my friend had been forced to stick a rapier in this Huguenot`s neck.

What is the name of this friend?

-Pardon, who is it you mean again? -The name! The name of your friend!

-Ah... Pour me a drink and I will tell. -Take this and choke, animal!

-More, or I won`t tell you! -What a bottomless pit!

So, the name! Give it to us, or get a rapier blow right to your giant paunch! His name!

Fire! People, a fire! Save yourselves!

Fire!!!

Oh, it is Chicot!

You drunk! You scoundrel!

You are as ready as always to sell your master for a jug of wine, to sell your friend!

Chicot, it hurts!

Hurts, swine? I fill your stomach and your purse, and you betray your master!

Chicot, you are unfair to me!

-I, unfair?! -You!

You... betray... my secrets... and have the nerve to tell me... that I treat you unfairly?

You are using my slight tipsiness to attack me!

What?! Animal. And what would you have done sober, hit me, your friend?!

What friend are you, after beating me to a pulp? Not much of a friend!

Should I kiss you for what you did?!

It would be better!

What a scoundrel.

Move!

-How can I ride if I can barely see through tears? -Like this!

-I cannot see properly! -I can.

But I can`t... And I cannot hear properly either!

Be quiet!

Oh Lord! What is this?

-What happened to our poor friend... -Our friend must rest.

Be careful!

Go, hurry up!

Something terrible happened!

Our friend quarrelled with the messenger of the duke de Guise...

And it seems that he killed him!

Yes...

Oh Lord, oh Lord!

De Guise swore to have him broken on the wheel while still alive!

What should be done then?

Firstly, let him sleep until he is sober. I do not want him to know how we came to be here.

Even better if he thinks he has not left this place since the night he supposedly spoke in the Abbey!

Do not worry, monsieur Chicot! He will leave only in two days` time!

You understood me perfectly, as always.

Say, Remy, did that nobleman whom they were dipping in blue in the Rue Coquilliere not seem familiar to you?

No... He was already quite blue at the time!

In any case, I should have helped him...

But I was preoccupied with other thoughts.

You know, it looked like he was watching us balefully while shaking a fist at us!

Are you certain?

Well, I can vouch for the baleful gazing... But... not so certain about the fist!

Still, we must find out who he was.

I cannot abide such insulting actions, doctor!

Oh Lord, I think I know who it was! I heard him cursing.

Damn it, everyone would start swearing in his position!

Yes. But he was using... German obscenities!

Schomberg?

Yes, him!

Well, Remy - prepare your medicines!

What for?

Because you will have to treat either my hide or his quite soon!

Count, surely you would not allow yourself to be killed now when you are well and happy!

Oh Remy... You cannot imagine how delightful it can be to risk your life when you are happy!

I do understand...

And yet you will have to deny yourself this pleasure, count.

A certain beautiful lady entrusted you to my care and made me swear to keep you alive and well!

By the way, count, your happiness was merely an illusion-

- as your happiness will be departing for Anjou soon.

So, count, when will we depart as well?

Not as soon as I would like, maitre Remy!

Our dear prince has entangled himself in such matters...

That I expect him to need me soon.

I have little knowledge of politics, count!

But I know that while you were shaking with fever in bed...

He was happily strolling under your lady`s windows like a Spaniard in love!

Monsoreau recognized him there, of which I am extremely glad.

Why?

Because it lifts suspicion from you.

My dear monsieur, I will sew up the holes from rapier blows you receive in duels. But I refuse...

...to deal with knife wounds perpetrated from around the corner by jealous husbands!

They behave like vilest beasts in such matters!

No, I know my people!

My good Parisians are troublemakers...

Pranksters...

But they are not capable of unleashing a bloodshed!

Not without some scoundrels or enemies spurring them on.

Good dog, Narcissus! What is it?

But enemies are active!

Their conspiracy is gaining traction.

Sire, how could a conspiracy-free state be even conceived of?

By all saints! What would the king`s brothers and his cousins do with their time if they stopped plotting?

No, Quelus!

When I listen to your discourse and see your pursed lips, I start to understand that your idea of politics...

...is barely more advanced than that of a market comedian!

Not funny, Sire!

Then you, Maugiron - tell me, am I right?

Only do not try to appease me with meaningless platitudes -

I am not some wool trader afraid of losing a favorite cat!

Your Majesty... Take Narcissus - certainly a good dog!

But try pulling his ears and he will growl, try stepping on his paw and he will bite!

Stay, Narcissus!

How lovely! This one is comparing me... to a dog.

Rather the opposite, Sire!

I place Narcissus above you because he can defend himself where you cannot, Sire.

So I am all alone then.

Insult me, humiliate me, leave me and kill me!

And those are the friends on whose behalf I am accused of frittering away the kingdom`s resources!

Chicot! My faithful Chicot, where are you?

Wonderful, that`s all we need!

Quite right - tell me of your friend, and I will tell you who you are!

Babblers!

Oh Lord... What happened to you?!

Sire, look at me!

This is how Your Majesty`s friends are treated!

Who did this to you?!

Your people... By the Lord!

Or should I say the duke of Anjou`s people?

The people who shouted "Glory to the League!"...

..."Glory to the mass!"! "Long live de Guise and Francois!"

Long live everyone! Except for the king.

What did you do then for the people to treat you this way?

Nothing at all!

What can a single man do to the people?

The people recognized in me a friend of Your Majesty`s and...

This was enough!

-And Schomberg? -What do you think?

He did not come to your aid?

He did not defend you?!

I swear, Schomberg was in enough trouble of his own!

He had grabbed the dyer`s wife`s bonnet and was seized by her husband!

-Aided by his five apprentices! -Damn it!

I will help him myself.

My friends may abandon me - but no one could ever claim that I abandon my friends!

Thank you, Sire...

But there is no need.

I dealt with them myself.

Schomberg... Why are you this color?!

They dipped me in a dye pan filled with indigo...

What?!

I pinched his wife, what a crime!

Another would have been happy!

Everything happened in an instant... I fought them like a tiger!

But they grabbed me... dragged me... dipped me in dye... and nearly drowned me!

And only punished themselves! Indigo is expensive, and he absorbed at least 20 ecu worth of it!

Laugh, Quelus, laugh!

I would love to see how you would behave in my place!

Yes, but how did you manage to escape?!

I had enough courage... to commit a cowardly deed, Sire!

What did you do?

I shouted "Glory to the League!"

Is this it?!

No... They made me add... "Long live the duke of Anjou!"

But even this is not all, Sire!

At the very same moment... when I was shouting "Long live the duke of Anjou!"...

Who do you think went past? Bussy!

That accursed Bussy! He saw and heard how I was praising his master!

I suspect he might have misinterpreted the situation?

Of course, damn it, because the situation was so difficult to understand!

And he did not help you?

It is a nobleman`s duty when another nobleman is in need...

Or it might just be that he did not recognize you - you were already blue at the time!

Yes, blue!

Ah, then his conduct is understandable.

To be honest, my poor Schomberg, I was barely able to recognize you myself!

It is all fine - we will meet another day, when my face is longer in a pan of dye!

As for me, I have no bone to pick with the servant, but with his master!

And it is not Bussy I would like to meet, but the Monseigneur duke of Anjou!

Yes, it is the duke they were praising on the streets, you heard it yourself, Sire!

Yes, it is true! The duke of Anjou is the true master of Paris today, and not the king!

Try leaving the Louvre, Sire, and you will see if you will be treated with more respect than us!

Why are you not undertaking anything against your brother?

It is absolutely clear to me that your brother is in charge of some conspiracy!

Sire... The duke de Guise will appear in the Louvre tomorrow.

Tomorrow he will demand that you appoint the head of the League!

And you will give him the name of the duke of Anjou, as you promised!

And as soon as the duke is in charge of the League...

Or, more precisely, in charge of 100 000 Parisians inflamed by this evening`s riots...

You will be fully in his power, Sire!

And what if... I take a decision.

Would you all support me?

Yes, Sire!

But first please allow me to change my clothes.

And me to wash myself, Sire!

You may go.

Your Majesty, does this mean we may hope this insult will not remain unpunished?

Quelus!

Inquire as to whether the duke of Anjou has returned to the Louvre.

You have decided then, Sire?

You will see soon.

D`Epernon, go and change your clothes. Schomberg, go and change your color.

-Maugiron! -Yes, Sire!

-Order to lock all gates of the Louvre! -At once, Sire!

Go.

-Long live the king! -Long live the king!

-Excellent move, Your Majesty! -Amen to that!

Forgive the interruption, Sire.

Sire, the duke is in the Louvre!

Who is with him?

Monsieur de Monsoreau.

-And what about de Bussy? -Bussy did not accompany him.

Wonderful.

Are Schomberg and d`Epernon ready?

Yes, Sire.

Tell monsieur de Monsoreau that I wish to speak to him.

Monsieur de Quelus informed me that you wished to see me, Sire?

Yes. While taking a stroll this evening I thought that tomorrow we could have an excellent hunt!

So now you are to depart for Vincennes at once and have a doe flushed...

Tomorrow we will hunt her down.

I assumed that you would honour the dukes of Anjou and de Guise with an audience tomorrow?

In order to select... Or appoint the head of the League?

And what of it, monsieur?

There might not be enough time to hunt.

Those who use time wisely never feel the lack of it.

Depart at once. You will have enough time to flush a doe in the night.

Schomberg, Quelus! Order to open the gate for the Chief Huntsman in my name...

And have them locked again in the name of the king... after he leaves.

Is this a whim of His Majesty`s?

Yes.

But I must first tell the duke of Anjou that I am to depart.

We will inform the duke! Do not waste precious time on this, Chief Huntsman!

The king said depart at once!

Maugiron...

Light the lantern.

-Has Quelus not returned yet? -We are here, Your Majesty!

-Did all go well? -Yes, Sire.

To be honest, the Chief Huntsman was a bit... reluctant to leave the Louvre!

Follow me.

Where does this door lead, Sire?

You will see when you arrive.

And make no noise!

Be on your guard.

Hush!

What is this?!.. Oh, Sire!

Stay with him, d`Epernon.

Una partida de go completa de ejemplo, 1 de 2 - Duration: 14:39.

Hello everyone, I'm Miguel Angel Antolínez, Go School of Bilbao.

In this video we will see a game we played in 2005, Lin, a player

Chinese origin, which is still playing go with us, and myself.

At that time I gave Lin 4 Stones advantage, something that no longer occurs today.

Let's see the game played a little faster than normal for us

time to see it in less than 15 minutes.

The fusekis Lin were a bit strange at that time.

Lin is a strong player in the fight, but perhaps, at that time especially the

fusekis not get along at all.

This heading is closed at the corner.

You will live, but the influence abroad the white player is, in this case,

takes the initiative, plays tenuki, and goes on the other side, and is building territory

on the left side.

White invades the corner, and this is a mistake of black, this is a mistake, now white

short, and cutting works, there are two threats, the two stones above and two below.

Black is building a wall to make territory on the right side upwards.

White comes in.

Which he is ahead has the advantage.

In this case white, they decide to attack the corner.

Black is closing to keep the points on the side.

White is cornered in the corner Black, who eventually live.

Since they live it is a mistake to continue playing there, because they are destroying possible

ko threats for the future.

Here you have several variants to analyze, but we will not do here now.

White is running again influenced Exterior. That play is very strong.

Black does not answer.

Leave the stone in atari.

He is attacking the target group, which has eyes, so white he goes with that last

movement, now a knot of bamboo, connecting, and now have time to take

the stone, which is very large, because it threatens be the upper left corner.

White comes out, because it has no eyes.

This movement is very good for white, and black is making a wall construction

one moyo on the right side.

White so hard that central movement.

And now it will produce a fight in the middle of the board to see ... white to try

Moyo enter and black to defend him.

Now White will deliver a sacrificial stone, getting black balled was a little,

but has no problems, he comes out perfectly.

This move is bad, white, but black not fail and will lose four stones

on the right side.

That plays right white and traps four stones on the right, who have

escape.

This sacrifice stone by black does not work, does not work, White has no

capture problem now five black stones.

These plays are very large black, are He is entering what could have been territory

white, now threatens double atari, white He does not answer, and gets into the Moyo to reduce it.

White defend the court.

Atari, White argues, atari, now white takes advantage of that stone to reinforce will die

apelotonar position and a little black, and finally connects.

Black defends the territory below, and white He is looking eyes, since this group does not have

still eyes.

This move seeks to eyes, black attacks, presses on white, white group does

one eye, missing the second.

Black plays atari at the bottom and white force KO, thinking you have many threats

and you can win.

That threat inside, defends black, white Stretching the second eye looking up,

but he has yet to win the ko.

Again black, white defends threat, White takes the ko, black threatens to close,

This latest move threatens to close, white stretch upwards again threatens to shut black,

white connects and saves those three stones they were half dead, and this is no longer

a threat, black and white close defends ko, makes the second eye.

Black double atari, but do not eat those two stones, eat at the corner which is much

larger.

White forces a ko, which is very large position that if he wins he gets into the corner, now

They are fighting ko, defends black, white strength again, and now black does not answer

the threat, leaving five stones down, and stays with the corner, white takes

five stones.

That play is very large because it is closing the side, but you can still get white.

There was to have defended the atari.

Black now lose those five stones the right.

That ko could not fight, you had to defend.

And this last move of white is very large, the three stones that are carried down.

That play black is also very large, white save the two stones but let

catch him, and this struggle is also ko very large, there are many points at stake

ko with that, but at the moment they leave, They are playing down the ko is still pending.

This is a mistake in white, playing down here, no threat nothing is useless, and again

white is wrong, it's not a threat now black takes the ko, and possibly with that

ko win the game, there are many points.

White takes the stone, black lives in the corner, and yet a very little to end.

This white latter is very large, defends that court, this is also great, white,

in the second line.

This is the yose, endgame, here it important is to choose the plays with

value.

There are inaccuracies on both sides, but more or less are balanced.

Plugging neutral points, then count.

the prisoners are removed.

The game is fairly balanced, and finally we see that Black has 21 points, and white 19

Black has won by two points, ie, He decided to fight the last ko won

black.
