Week 4 of the NFL season is here, and it's time to start setting those fantasy football lineups, both season-long and daily fantasy.

This is a week filled with some strong options across the board, as well as a few big names that you'll probably want to consider fading.

Welcome back to Defence Team News.

I'm Shelley Van Hoof.

And I'm Captain Shalako Smith.

Here's what's making headlines at Defence.

♪

The 10th annual Canada Army Run

took place on September 17 in Ottawa.

To celebrate this milestone,

a new 10k event was added to the line-up

as well as the Vimy Challenge,

combining the 5k and 10k together

to commemorate the historic battle's recent centennial.

Participants also competed in three other events,

including a 5k, a 21k, and the Commander Challenge

which combined both the 5k and half-marathon events.

The 2017 Canada Army Run has raised $130 thousand-to date,

with the final total being announced soon.

Since 2008, the Canada Army Run has raised over $2.1 million.

All funds raised from this year's run will go to Soldier On

and the Support Our Troops fund,

making a difference in the lives of all our CAF members.

Exercise SERPENTEX is currently underway in Corsica, France

until October 1st.

45 maintainers, support personnel,

and pilots from 433 Tactical Fighter Squadron at 3 Wing Bagotville

are participating in this international exercise.

Training has been conducted alongside multinational

Joint Terminal Air Controller teams

in a broad spectrum of Close Air Support scenarios.

RCAF participants will gain valuable experience

in these new capabilities,

such as Ground Assisted Air Interdiction

and Digitally Aided Close Air Support.
