Everton transfer news: Toffees boss Ronald Koeman lining up January swoop to bring Atletico Madrid ace Kevin Gameiro to Premier League

EVERTON are reportedly lining-up a swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro. The French international could find himself surplus to requirements in the next transfer window following the arrival of Diego Costa.

And the Daily Mirror claim that Ronald Koeman has been sounded out over his availability. The 30-year-old is believed to be worried over his playing time after Atletico struck a deal to bring Costa back to the club.

Diego Simeone will also need to balance the books after shelling out £67million for the Spain forward. And he will be hoping to get at least £20m for Gameiro should they decide to sell.

He was in prolific form last season following his £35m arrival from Sevilla. But that may not be enough to guarantee his long-term future in the capital.

Everton shelled out heavily in the summer as Koeman brought in a number of additions to bolster his squad. However, he did not replace Romelu Lukaku after the Belgians departure to Old Trafford.

Moves for Arsenals Olivier Giroud and Costa both failed to materialise, leaving him short of striker options.

Manchester United news: Luke Shaw promises Manchester United fans many more years to come - Duration: 1:51.

Manchester United news: Luke Shaw promises Manchester United fans many more years to come

The defender has endured three injury-plagued years at the club and was criticized heavily by Jose Mourinho last season.

But, Shaw remains a United player and is eyeing a return to form this campaign as he looks to finally shake off his injury troubles.

'Three years ago today I made my debut for Manchester United,' he said on Twitter.

'Time flies but there is much more to come.' A broken leg in 2015 kept Shaw sidelined for much of the year that followed, but his stock remains high among the United coaches.

Shaw is pushing to reclaim his spot in Mourinho's squad after making his comeback from his latest injury earlier this month in the Carabao Cup.

Mourinho has repeatedly urged Shaw to re-commit himself to getting fit and Shaw seems determined to do that.

Shaw was not included in the squad that traveled to Russia to take on CSKA Moscow in the Champions League this week.

However, the player has been assured there is a place for him at the club if he regains full fitness.

Since his £30million move from Southampton in 2015, Shaw has made just 48 appearances and 29 starts in the Premier League.

Manchester United transfer news: Manchester United scout Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis - Duration: 1:38.

Manchester United transfer news: Manchester United scout Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis

The Premier League giants have become aware of the England Under-20s star's progress this season as he has bulldozed his way into Steve Bruce's plans.

Davis was given his opportunity in the absence of Jonathan Kodjia – who missed the start of the 2017/18 campaign through injury – but is now partnering the Ivorian front man in what is proving to be a dynamic attacking duo.

Since the pair have been unleashed, Villa have won three matches on the spin convincingly, beating Barnsley 3-0 and Nottingham Forest 2-1 before thrashing Burton Albion 4-0.

Davis was on the scoresheet against both Barnsley and Burton as he banged in two brilliant headers and looks a serious prospect after bullying defences with his power and clever movement.

Bruce has been fielding him in front of Villa's £12million striker Scott Hogan and it's no surprise that the Premier League's elite are starting to sit up and take notice.

Everton also had officials watching him, according to the Mirror, and if he continues to impress in Villa's promotion push, they may struggle to keep him in the West Midlands.

#BoycottNFL: 10 Ways People Are Opposing 'Take a Knee' Controversy

President Trump has encouraged the public to boycott the NFL after several players, coaches, and staff chose to take a knee during the National Anthem at various games this week.

As the NFL and the POTUS are at war, people all over the country are choosing sides.

Hundreds if not thousands of people have posted about the controversy, some using the hashtag #takeaknee and others using #boycottnfl.

Those who feel as though "taking a knee" is disrespectful to the American flag and to the country have decided to heed Trump's advice and have come up with several ways they plan to oppose the gesture.

Meanwhile, others completely support the NFL players who have chosen to protest at games.

People of all different races, shapes, and backgrounds have spoken out about this.

People have been taking a knee and posting photos to social media as a way to support the NFL and, perhaps more importantly, show their hatred for President Trump.

On the flip side, below are 10 ways that some people are planning to boycott the NFL this season.

Do not watch or attend any NFL football games on Saturday, November 11, 2017 (Veteran's Day).2.

Stop purchasing Pepsi products3.

Stop purchasing Nike products4.

Cancel Sunday Ticket subscriptions5.

Don't watch any NFL football games6.

Don't attend any NFL football games7.

Don't purchase any officially licensed NFL gear8.

Restaurant owners don't air any NFL games9.

'Hit them in the wallet' — don't purchase any items that are made by NFL sponsors10.

Get rid of you season tickets (some people are choosing to burn them).

In addition, various petitions are popping up online and people have been signing them in support of the NFL boycott that Trump has called for.

"Kneeling during the National Anthem is a right enjoyed in this country because of our nation's great patriots.

This should go without saying.

It should also go without saying that spoiled athletes and their employers exercising this right is not something we have to tolerate as fans. Team owners and the broader NFL organization can disallow such acts, and have chosen not to.

We can choose not to endorse them.

Hit 'em where it hurts, America: The WALLET!".

— Huh.

I kinda liked it, except the lyrics.

"You were in your Hummer and I was in my Volkswagen…"?

— Did she say "Volkswagen" or "Volt"?

— I thought she was like, "Volk."

I thought that was, like, slang for "Volkswagen."

What did she say, "Volt"?

— Yeah, doesn't Chevy make a Volt or something like that?

— Whatever the fuck it is! That shit is boring.

Sorry, man. I'm not interested in that.

— Run the Jewels is officially beefing with Sheryl Crow…

— No, no, no—all due respect, Sheryl Crow is fucking multi-millionaire.

She doesn't care about my opinion, it just wasn't really ever for me.

— Sheryl Crow's burnin' her Run the Jewels t-shirt!

Right now!

— Some slick East Coast rap shit.

— The first part of the beat reminded me of the Clipse shit.

— Yeah, yeah, with the... — Yeah, yeah...

— I feel you, I feel you on that.

— Which is dope. Thumbs-up from Run the Jewels.

— Damn.

— This is country music meets hip-hop writer.

This was definitely written by either a black kid that grew up rapping,

or someone who grew up listening to rap.

And I'm gonna be honest— I grew up in the South.

So if I'm stumbling into a country bar, high as fuck at three in the morning,

this is the record I'm dancing to with a cowgirl.

— Wednesday night, moms come for free!

— This is the one.

— Yup!

— This is Lorde, right?

No?

Huh.

I think this shit is cool. I mean, it's well produced, you know?

— And yeah, it's a good record!

— I'm a sucker for a fucking heavy 808 dropping in the middle of some shit

where you don't think an 808 is about to drop.

— You know, I'm a 40-year-old man now.

I can't relate to this shit.

But, with that said, I feel like my daughter would love it, you know what I mean?

So I'm not mad at it at all, but I'm here to tell all teenagers—

your partner's gonna break your fucking heart.

Y'all will be friends when you're 30.

— That's why we're here. That's why we came here.

With one idea: we're gonna warn the teenage youth.

— Yeah.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2017: Matches & Predictions | SML News - Duration: 7:47.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2017: Matches & Predictions

WWE. com.

The WWE PPV schedule got switched around a bit this year.

Raw got its paws on No Mercy and happened to put on a decent show.

As for Hell in a Cell (a show closely associated with the Raw Brand), Smackdown Live is prepared to handle the PPV hosting duties.

To say the card for this show is star-studded and stacked with interesting matches would be an understatement.

The most important match of all is the Hell in a Cell grudge match that'll pit Kevin Owens against one of the men who oversees his brand, Shane McMahon.

Also on deck for this show is a WWE Championship rematch between Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles defending his United States Championship against Baron Corbin and even a tag team Hell in a Cell matchup between The New Day and The Usos.

So who do I think will walk away from HIAC 2017 as the ultimate victors? This preview and predictions piece of mine will definitely answer all that question.

Randy Orton vs. Rusev. WWE. com.

Predictions & Winner: Why is Rusev so low on the totem pole right now? Dude's one of the more underrated competitors in WWE and he can always be counted on to deliver a low-key funny promo and solid in-ring performance.

Even though he got pitted against Orton at SummerSlam in a high-profile contest, he was beaten in just a few seconds.

I guess this rematch is an apology of sorts to Rusev.

Which means it'll probably go longer than 10 minutes and actually be sort of competitive between the two rivals.

Rusev deserves to take the victory here, but I can totally envision Orton being handed the victory here (again).

I think WWE feels like they still owe Orton a few victories since they subjected him to a lame feud with Mahal for far too long.

So yeah…Orton wins.

Rusev will look good in defeat, at least.

Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler. WWE. com.

Predictions & Winner: Ziggler, man.

Just…Ziggler.

How far the mighty have fallen.

When I heard he was coming back with a revamped gimmick of sorts, I didn't picture him doing a 2017 rendition of Charlie Hass' copycat gimmick.

Ziggler's just wasting his time at this point.

The crowd sits on their hands when he comes out as wrestlers they actually care about and craps all over them on the mic.

So who's going to be the one to save us from any more boring, heatless Ziggler promos? The Glorious One himself, Bobby Roode! This feud is reminiscent of the one where Nakamura came up from NXT and needed someone to quickly go over on.

Just replace Nakamura with Roode and you pretty much have the same scenario here.

Roode's knocking down Ziggler on his road to bigger and better things.

AJ Styles (c) vs.

Baron Corbin (WWE United States Championship).

WWE. com.

Predictions & Winner: Why couldn't this one be a triple threat match that includes Tye Dillinger? Anyways, Styles can have a 5-star match with a bag of horse manure so surely he can deliver a solid effort with Corbin.

I'm actually still a Corbin guy, so this matchup is pretty interesting to me.

Styles works extremely well with taller opponents and Corbin's the right guy to play the dominating role here.

This seems more like a match that will lead to plenty more rematches down the line.

So Styles will retain here, but it'll happen by the skin of his teeth.

Corbin will probably beat himself due to some overzealous attempt at a match-ending move on his part and practically give Styles the win.

Natalya (c) vs.

Charlotte Flair (WWE SmackDown Women's Championship).

WWE. com.

Predictions & Winner: Naomi had a decent run with the SD Live's Women's strap, but now it's time for Natalya to lend even more legitimacy to the title.

She's gone full crazy cat lady and she's a bit more vicious than she usually is.

Charlotte's been on a hiatus since she's had to be by her father's bedside.

But now she's returned and primed to clash with a rival who's given her a great match during her NXT run.

I'm still shocked that Charlotte's more of a bit player instead of one of the main players of the division like she was on Raw.

I think she's going to be kept in that role for a while longer cause I'm going with a Natalya win here.

I'm betting Carmella runs out to distract Charlotte and cost her the match since she's out for revenge due to the loss she was given by Miss Flair.

HIV cases are on the rise in over 50s as they are 'more likely to engage in risky sexual behaviour', experts warn

AN increasing number of people over 50 are being diagnosed with HIV in Europe, a new study suggests. Researchers from the European Centre for Disease and Control have compared diagnosis rates in 31 countries between 2004 and 2015.

One reason for a rise in HIV cases among OAPs is that they dont believe they are in an at risk category.

As many as on in six new cases in older people is reported now, compared to just one in 10 a 12 years ago.

The study found that 16 countries, including the UK and Germany, have seen a rise in the number of cases.

And one reason for this is that OAPs are more likely to think their age group is not at risk, so will not take precautionary measures to prevent the virus.

The study, published in The Lancet HIV journal, also found that older people are more likely to be diagnosed with an advanced form of the disease, which is more difficult to treat, than younger people.

It suggests the main way HIV is spread is through heterosexual sex but that more men were being diagnosed than women.

Lara Tavoschi, who led the research, told the BBC: Our findings illustrate a clear need to provide comprehensive HIV prevention programs, including education, access to condoms, better testing opportunities and treatment targeted toward older adults across Europe.

HIV is a virus that attacks the immune system, and weakens your ability to fight infections and disease. She suggested better education was needed around HIV and its transmission among older people to prevent further spread of the infection.

There are more than 100,000 people living with HIV in the UK - while an estimated 35 million people are infected worldwide.

Some 6,000 people are diagnosed with the condition in the UK every year, and an estimated 17 per cent of sufferers do not know they are infected.

HEALTH CHECK What are HIV and AIDS, what are the symptoms, how is the virus transmitted and is there a cure?.

HIV is a virus that attacks the immune system, and weakens your ability to fight infections and disease. It is found in the bodily fluids of infected people - which include semen, vaginal and anal fluids and blood.

Some 95 per cent of Brits get HIV by having unprotected anal or vaginal sex. AIDS is the final stage of HIV infection, when your body can no longer fight life-threatening infections.

Some 95 per cent of Brits get HIV by having unprotected anal or vaginal sex.

Dr Michael Brady, medical director at the British Aids charity, Terrence Higgins Trust, added: It is worrying to think how many people over 50 dont consider themselves to be at risk of HIV, and that is probably the reason why, in this study, older people were more likely to be diagnosed late with more advanced HIV.

The study also found that younger people still make up the majority of new HIV cases, with more than 300,000 15 to 49-year-olds diagnosed in the same 12 year period.

Manchester United transfer news: Jose Mourinho sends scouts to watch Sarpsborg wonderkid Krepin Diatta as Red Devils ramp up their interest

SARPSBORG starlet Krepin Diatta is closing in on a dream move to Manchester United after the Red Devils ramped up their interest. The 18-year-old midfielder has been watched on several occasions by Jose Mourinhos side.

And according to the Metro, the agent of the Senegalese ace has admitted he has already spoken to talent spotters from Old Trafford over a potential move. Youssoupha Fall said: Ive spoken to Manchester Uniteds scouts twice.

First under the Under-20 World Cup, and again after the (league) game against Brann. Mourinho and United have been keeping a close eye on Diattas progress over the last 18 months.

They are believed to have upped their efforts to bring him to England by sending further scouts to Norway to watch Sarpsborgs clash with Odd last weekend.

And the teen revealed he would love a move to Manchester after he was informed of Uniteds presence at his most recent outing.

He told TV: I didn't know they scouted me today, but to join them would be a dream come true. I think I'm good enough, but I play for Sarpsborg and love this club. We'll see what happens in the future.

Meanwhile, United take the next step in their Champions League campaign against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday. The Red Devils will be looking to make it two wins out of two after defeating Basel 3-0 a fortnight ago.

Southampton 0-1 Manchester United: Red hot Romelu Lukaku bags his eighth in eight matches to maintain Red Devils' unbeaten start to the season.

That's like Sheila E. and Sheena Easton.

That's a good match-up.

I'm sorry, who?

Everybody wanted to make music that sounded like Prince, I think.

Which is why he was always changing.

And things kind-of got weird, and weirder and weirder.

I think that's the thing that I like, is that...

it got weirder and harder to understand,

Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Week 4 WR Decisions | SML News - Duration: 7:23.

Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Week 4 WR Decisions

Week 3 saw some familiar names atop the WR leaderboard, as Stefon Diggs, Brandin Cooks, Odell Beckham, Sammy Watkins, T.Y.

Hilton, A.J.

Green, Antonio Brown, Doug Baldwin and Jordy Nelson all turned in Top-10 performances in PPR leagues.

Of course, performances from Julio Jones (WR24), Mike Evans (WR33) and Alshon Jeffery (WR46) also served as reminders that there is still plenty of week-to-week volatility when it comes to the position.

Predicting the position is always difficult, but here's an early look at some not-so-obvious Week 4 wide receivers to start, and others to stay away from.

You can also read here for running backs.

Start 'Em.

Tyrell Williams, SD (vs.

PHI): Williams has disappointed thus far with weekly WR finishes of 37th, 43rd and 79th.

Still, he's second on the team in targets with 18, he has played 93.7 percent of the snaps, and he's getting targeted deep down field (average depth of target of 12.6 yards).

It's only a matter of time before he breaks out with a big game, and this is a good spot for that happen, as the Eagles have given up four Top-30 WR performances through three weeks, including a pair of Top-10 performances against the Giants last week.

Devante Parker, MIA (vs.

NO in London): A three-point underdog in a game that has the highest over/under (50) of the week, the Dolphins figure to end up throwing a ton against a Saints defense that is allowing 9.4 yards per attempt despite getting to play a struggling Cam Newton last week.

Parker, meanwhile, has racked up 19 targets, 12 receptions, 161 yards and a score through just two games, establishing himself as Jay Cutler's clear No.

1 downfield option.

Throw it all together, and it's the perfect storm for Parker being a Top-10 WR option in Week 4.

Paul Richardson, SEA (vs.

IND): It's hard to trust anyone on this offense with the way the offensive line has been trying to block, but the Seahawks showed signs of life in the second half against the Titans, finding the end zone three times in six possessions.

Now, they're back at home and playing in prime-time–where they're typically dominant–and they're up against a Colts defense that is allowing 7.

9 yards per pass attempt.

Enter Richardson, who has tallied 19 targets through three games, has scored in each of the last two and could see an increased role with Doug Baldwin dealing with a groin injury.

Sit 'Em.

Michael Crabtree, OAK (at DEN): After catching one of three targets for seven yards against Washington on Sunday night, Crabtree gets rewarded with a matchup at Denver against one of the best secondaries in the NFL.

The Broncos have held Keenan Allen, Travis Benjamin, Tyrell Williams and Dez Bryant each to under 60 yards this year, and they did a fantastic job of limiting Crabtree last season, holding him to just seven catches and 74 yards in two games.

Typically a solid WR2, Crabtree is more of a low-end WR3 option this week.

Martavis Bryant, PIT (at BAL): Bryant currently has an average depth of target of 22.4 yards, which is highest among players with more than two targets.

This means that he can produce a big fantasy performance with just one play, but it also makes him highly volatile, as we've seen through three games with weekly WR finishes of 75th, 12th and 69th.

The two bad ones have come on the road, and that's where Pittsburgh will be in Week 4, where they face a Ravens defense that has given up just one Top-25 WR performance on the year and will look to make this a physical division battle with limited big plays.

Again, Bryant has the game to break one at any given time, but I'd rather go with a safer option due to matchup.

Terrelle Pryor, WAS (at KC): Kirk Cousins threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns in Week 3, and Pryor, the presumed No.

1 receiver, finished with four targets, two receptions and 19 yards.

He has now finished as the WR27, WR73 and WR74 the first three weeks of the season, showing very little involvement in the offense.

Even against a Chiefs defense that has allowed a Top-24 WR performance in each of the first three weeks, Pryor can't be trusted.
