John Cena, Actor In Disguise John Cena has been a movie business part-timer

since playing the lead in 2006's WWE Studios movie The Marine.

He followed that up with more WWE Studios-produced films 12 Rounds and Legendary.

But then, in 2015, something strange happened: Cena was genuinely pretty good in Amy Schumer's

Trainwreck.

He suddenly became an in-demand comedy character actor, starring in Will Ferrell's Daddy's

Home, Tina Fey's Sisters and just missing out an Oscar nomination for his role in Surf's

Up 2: WaveMania.

But it's now been announced he's transitioning into blockbuster action.

Cena will have a lead role in the Transformers spin-off movie Bumblebee - centred around

the yellow and black transforming car in the 80s.

The film started shooting on Monday in California, which could potentially limit Cena's WWE

dates.

This hectic schedule could be why John recently told Complex his 'free agent' status is

because he can't commit to appearing on just one brand all the time.

Cena tweeted about the news: "One of the most exciting projects I've

been fortunate to be a part of.

Thrilled to join the #Transformers franchise!"

Rusev, meanwhile - the guy Cena beat at Battleground - reminded us all of what John said in his

returning 4th July promo: "But he is not a part timer he is an all

Here's the abridged version of the Broken Hardys saga so far: Matt comes up with 'Broken

gimmick'.

Delightful.

Pays for parts of production himself.

Wonderful.

But does it all while under contract to TNA.

Legally tricky.

Matt and Jeff leave TNA for WWE.

TNA claim they own the Broken Hardys gimmicks.

Devious!

And now Matt remains stuck in character limbo on Raw.

Nostalgia!

Negotiations were reportedly looking promising, though, and Matt and Jeff were hopeful their

Broken gimmick was coming to WWE.

But last week, Ed Nordholm - the President of GFW (the new name for TNA) - said he was

done trying to work something out, and they were now moving on.

It was feared the whole deal was off.

But last Friday, PWInsider revealed GFW's four Broken Universe-related trademarks have

all been initially refused by the Patent and Trademark Office, and now Matt has tweeted

a pretty definitive-sounding announcement: "@WWEUniverse, IT'S HAPPENING.

#BROKEN #FTR #FTC #FTO" The Raw fallout video in the tweet shows Matt

in near-completely Broken mode, saying he feels "awoken" and "triggered".

Paige Backstage At WWE Raw?

Something that definitely didn't show up backstage in WWE last night, though, was the

currently injured Paige.

Fan speculation ran wild on Twitter when WWE posted a video on SnapChat of a gothic-looking

lady appearing behind an oblivious Charly Caruso, which some thought could be Paige.

It turns out, though, it's just Sasha Banks doing a zombie photoshoot backstage at Raw,

which WWE later announced on their Instagram.

It is the second time United manager Jose Mourinho has invested in the 28-year-old's talents having brought him back to Chelsea in 2014 after a successful spell with Benfica

Matic signed a three-year contract with United with the option to extend it by a year

"Nemanja is a Manchester United player and a Jose Mourinho player," Mourinho told the club website

"He represents everything we want in a footballer: loyalty, consistency, ambition, team player

"I would like to thank him for his desire to join us because without that, it would be impossible to have him here

I am sure our players and supporters will love him

"Matic played just 65 minutes for Chelsea in his first period at the club before being part of the deal that saw David Luiz move to Chelsea and him move in the opposite direction to Benfica in 2011

He said Mourinho's presence at United had made it an easy decision

"I am delighted to have joined Manchester United

To work with Jose Mourinho once again was an opportunity I couldn't turn down," he told the club website

"I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support

I cannot wait to meet my new teammates and to start training with them

"This is a very exciting time for the club and I am looking forward to playing my part in creating more history for this great club

"Matic's arrival takes Mourinho's spending to almost £150 million in the close season having outlaid £31 million for Swedish defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica and £75 million on Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton— though that could rise to £90 million with add-ons

Ironically Lukaku's deal almost put a spike in Matic's transfer to United as Chelsea had ear-marked the striker as their number one target and were not best pleased when he was snatched from underneath their noses

At one point it was thought the Serbian, who had found life increasingly difficult at Stamford Bridge competing with French star N'Golo Kante for the central midfielder role, would end up at Juventus instead

However, once United were quoted £50m for England defensive midfielder Erik Dier by Tottenham they switched their attentions back to Matic and Chelsea relented

Matic enjoyed a far happier second spell at Chelsea than his first one, winning the Premier League title twice and while never a prolific goalscorer he scored one of the goals of last season in the FA Cup semifinal win over Spurs at Wembley

In all he scored seven times in 154 appearances for Chelsea

"The Serbian departs Stamford Bridge having played a pivotal role in two Premier League title triumphs, as well as winning the League Cup with the Blues," said Chelsea in a long farewell statement

"These trophies all came in his second spell at the club, after rejoining Chelsea in early 2014 to add steel and strength to the midfield

"We thank Nemanja for his fantastic service and wish him well for the future

"Mourinho's spending may not be over yet as he is known to cherish Croatian winger Ivan Perisic who is at Inter Milan but United baulked at the initial demand of £48

5 million although they hope the Serie A side might lower their price

Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Alexis Sanchez and Riyad Mahrez

Manchester City are reportedly willing to offer Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez a £320,000-per-week contract in order to take the forward from the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Elsewhere, AS Roma have pulled out of the race for Leicester City star and rumoured Gunners target Riyad Mahrez.

Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail reported City will offer Sanchez a deal in the region of £320,000 per week, although that figure still doesnt meet the £400,000-per-week salary hes understood to be seeking at Arsenal.

The Citizens have embarked upon a spending rampage this summer, as manager Pep Guardiola looks to craft his dream team, with Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker and goalkeeper Ederson all arriving for big fees.

Eurosport UK recently provided a breakdown of Citys summer investment, addressing issues in defence and between the goalposts mainly, with spending clearing the £200 million mark already:.

Contract rebel Sanchez is in the last year of his deal in north London, but it may still require a massive transfer fee to take him away from the Emirates this summer.

It appears City have a lucrative wage ready and waiting for the Chilean, though.

Despite his contract situation with the Gunners, Sanchez is still wanted by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. Former Premier League defender Matthew Upson told BBC 5 live Sport the 28-year-old is still wanted at his club:.

The north Londoners missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification after finishing fifth in the Premier League last term, although theyll hope a promising long-term vision can convince their star to stay at the club.

However, Citys chances of recruiting another big name on par with Sanchez could be diminishing after Guardiola recently conceded funds may be running dry after a big summer splurge, per the Mirrors Jack Rathborn: We are going to see if we can buy somebody else.

One figure putting in the groundwork to bring Sanchez to the Etihad Stadium is Chile team-mate Claudio Bravo, who joined Guardiola at City from Barcelona last summer and would be happy to play alongside his compatriot at club level:.

Elsewhere, Adam Jones of football. london cited Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol in saying that Roma have given up in their pursuit of Leicester marvel Mahrez after seeing a £27 million bid for the player turned down.

Its mentioned Leicester are seeking closer to £40 million if theyre to sell the 2015-16 PFA Player of the Year, a figure Roma reporter Julian De Martinis does not see as value for money:.

Leicester had a disappointing 2016-17 campaign compared to the fairytale Premier League title win of a season prior, ending last term 12th in the division after manager Claudio Ranieri was replaced by Craig Shakespeare.

Like the Giallorossi, Arsenal may not be willing to spend the prescribed amount in order to tempt the Foxes into a sale, but at least Romas exit from the chase has eliminated a major rival for Mahrezs signature.
