Hello everyone, My name is Mohn, I'm a sound engineer,

I've been working in the performance and entertainment industry for a very long time.

I started as an artist, I performed on a lot of stages, did many studio recordings,

then I moved - not on the other side of the gate - but on the other side of the console about 10 years ago.

So, I know well these two sides of the business which consist of being on stage

and also engineering the sound for an artist or for a show.

For some time I wanted to acquire a console that meets most of these conditions:

The first condition is that it shall be transportable,

that I can take the console almost anywhere, by car or train.

The second condition, obviously, is that this console sounds good, that the mic preamps are high quality.

On this subject I think QSC has done a very nice job,

it is a very good surprise for a console of this size to have preamps of such good quality.

The third condition is that inside the console I find all the tools that I need.

Notably, for example, a 31-band EQ on each output, quality effects, a sufficient number of auxiliaries.

Today, what has become essential in the use of a console is to be able to connect an iPad.

The QSC TouchMix-30 Pro is fully featured for this as we can even connect twelve iPad.

What is so well thought-out in the console is that every iPad user has his own restrictions.

That is, if I want that someone can only change mix1 or mix2 it is easily possible.

So, one can work in very, very good conditions.

Another good surprise in this console is the work that has been done on ergonomics, or on the workflow.

That is to say that people who designed this console are necessarily people who have spent years mixing live sounds.

I say this because in most of the consoles we use they are configurable and they have to be configured.

This one is already configured for lots of things we do all the time.

For example a Mute FX, subgroups, a 31-band EQ assigned to each output.

All this is already prepared in the console.

And that, I think, is a great idea.

All the qualities of this console associated with its very compact format

allow me today to have a very different approach with all these small and medium size projects.

I know I can take the console with me anywhere. I can take the train with it,

everything is in it, the workflow is extremely well thought-out

and I am therefore serene about the services and the show that I will be able to provide to the artists.
