- Welcome to June's Infomary. During the last weeks,
- there has been a lot of movement related with Cannabis in Spain.
- PSV PSOE Compromís and Podemos parties presented
- in Valencia a Not Law Proposal for cannabis regulation
- in that community and to make pressure to central government
- to make a more flexible law to implement this regulation in the community.
- There was also an unanimous agreement in Extremadura's Assembly, aproving a proposal wich main objective is
- medicinal cannabis regulation on that community.
- Canary Islands aproveed to debate an initiative for cannabis regulation, as playful as medicinal.
- In Asturias, another debate about regulation was denied... It was proposed by Podemos.
- Better lucky for medicinal regulation initiative,
- as in Andalucía, where PP party denied general cannabis regulation proposed by Podemos,
- but accepted a medicinal regulation. In Catalonia, new associations law has been aproved.
- It will be voted next June 28th. Great movements on politics, but not less on civil society...
- Manifiesta Acción, celebrated on May 28th was a total success... Including without any coverage
- of general press in Spain. Great success for the 2nd Cannamed quarterly edition too.
- The congress of patients users of cannabis and Weedkeend, Asturias reference cannabis cup in Spain.
- Spanish activism didn't stopped at social networks. Platform Ucann, in wich we are members,
- launched another Twitter campaing agaisnt Jaw Law... Trending Topic in Spain. In the rest of the
- world, cannabis activity has also not topped. In Chile thousands of people met again in march
- "Grow your Rights" for cannabis regulation. In Argentina,
- Tucuman legislature aproved unanimously addition to national law 26/350, that permits use of cannabis and
- derivatives for medical use. In Salta, another law forced Provintial Health institute to give cannabis oil
- to epilepsy patients that needed it.
- In Uruguay, cannabis in aphothekes will be a medium-low Thc level product.
- Puerto Rico advances with medicinal weed aproval. More medicinal cannabis dispensers are being opened.
- In Colombia, including with legal medicinal marijuana, a congress about it was prohibited on the last minute in
- Bogotá, entering in contradition with the laws they approved.
- In USA, Vermont chamber approved a project to regulate playful cannabis on their state since 2018.
- Florida congress approved medicinal cannabis implementation for patients of cancer, glaucoma, VIH...
- New York started cannabis deliveries. The first dispenser opened at Orlando,
- with a 153 hectares field of Calexico as a cultivation zone, distribution and handcare of cannabis.
- A kid woke up from a coma in Arizona because of a cannabis derivative threatment. Yeah!
