A man suspected of going on a stabbing rampage at a children's party, killing a little girl celebrating her third birthday and wounding eight others, will face the death penalty

 Timmy Kinner, a homeless man who had been asked to leave a Boise apartment complex the day before, returned the following day and began attacking children and others at the outdoor birthday party in June

A judge this summer entered not guilty pleas on his behalf to one count of first-degree murder and eight counts of aggravated battery in connection with the June 30 attack

'After careful consideration, we have concluded that pursuing the death penalty is appropriate in this case,' Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts said in a statement Thursday

Police said Kinner didn't know any of the victims, who were all refugees from Ethiopia, Syria and Iraq

 They also said the attack did not appear to be a hate crime. Kinner, 30, has refused to meet with a psychologist to evaluate his health

Ruya Kadir was at her third birthday party - complete with a pink doll-shaped cake and a Disney princess banner - when police say Kinner, armed with a large knife, attacked

 Ruya and five other children were badly injured, along with the three adults who tried to protect them

Some children hid in a closet until police told them it was safe to come out.Police say Kinner had recently been asked to leave the apartment complex because of bad behavior

 He was arrested shortly after the stabbing. Investigators recovered the knife he was believed to have used in a nearby canal

The Ada County Public Defender's Office, which is representing Kinner, declined to comment

Meghan Markle's sister says her royal baby news changes everything - Duration: 7:53.

Meghan Markle's older sister has issued an extraordinary plea for family unity in the wake of the royal baby news, telling DailyMailTV: 'Everybody just needs to shut the heck up and let this be a great thing for them, for the world, for the family and that's where I'm at

'Speaking in an exclusive interview, Samantha Markle, 53, said she was so excited after discovering Meghan, 37, is pregnant that 'I was literally jumping for joy in my wheelchair'

She added: 'It's so important that everybody put their egos aside. Meghan's done some things with my dad, but in my heart, I love her and I want her and the baby to do well

'I was kind of overwhelmed with emotion [when I heard] and I just thought, I'm letting everything go

It's beautiful and I'm so excited for Harry too.' The mom-of-three has previously been one of the most outspoken members of the Markle clan and has made a number of attacks on the Duchess of Sussex in the media over her treatment of their father, Thomas Markle Sr

Less than two weeks ago, she was pictured delivering a letter to Kensington Palace that contained a plea for Meghan to make things up with the retired lighting director, 74

Meghan and her father have not spoken since the royal wedding in May when he was forced to pull out after suffering a heart attack amid a staged paparazzi photo scandal

 But Samantha told DailyMailTV that the baby news has changed everything and is now calling for the whole family to stop fighting and unite around her future niece or nephew

  She said: 'I think everybody really just needs to come together and realize this is really important and special for Meg, for Harry, for the child, for all of us, and we need to stop the sparring

'I want things to be alright in my family and everybody has to be on the same page

I want that for the child but I want that for Meg too.'Despite her highly-publicized grudge against her sister, Samantha said any ill feelings she had 'all went away' upon learning the news

 'A baby is incredible. You can't say anything negative. You can't feel anything negative

It's just a beautiful, amazing thing. So my reaction was, "screw all this stuff and everything that's been said

"'Although she is still hoping that Meghan and her father will reconcile, she told DailyMailTV that the rapprochement has to happen 'in their own space and time' and said Markle Sr is 'excited' at the prospect of becoming a grandfather for the sixth time

'He is excited and I'm not going to let the media take any of that away from him or from Meg – they'll work it out in their own space and time,' she said

The baby news was released in a statement by Kensington Palace on Monday and the baby is due in Spring 2019'I really want him to be a part of the baby's life because my dad is so funny, he was so funny with us when we were kids so I think the baby would miss out on not being able to meet grandad and I know he's got a huge heart and wants to be involved

'Hopefully time will pass and this will all resolve itself and be a wonderful thing for everybody

'The news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child came early on Monday morning, via a statement from Kensington Palace

The announcement read: 'Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019

'Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public

In a separate statement, the Palace revealed that Meghan's mother Doria is 'very happy about this lovely news' and 'looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild'

Although Markle Sr was not included in the announcement, he is understood to have sent his youngest child a congratulatory letter, in which he told her 'you will be a great mother'

Other members of the Markle family have also congratulated the parents-to-be, with Thomas Jr telling DailyMailTV that the baby news is 'really awesome'

He added: 'I'm really happy for Harry and Meghan and I just hope our family can be involved in some way

' Samantha too says she would like to be involved in the new arrival's life, telling DailyMailTV: 'I'd like to be able to see my niece or nephew and certainly communicate and send gifts and cards and whatnot, visit on holidays as much as I can

'But we're so far away so however I can be involved with the baby, I would love to

But more than anything, I want them to be happy.'Both Samantha and Tom Jr say that Markle Sr deserves to play some sort of role in his new grandchild's life and Samantha says the news will have a 'sobering effect' on the rest of the family

She said: 'The baby will be intelligent, funny, cute as a button and I think really funny and loving between Harry and Meg

'I really hope my father gets to be a part of that but I'm so excited for them and I think the baby will be a beautiful addition to the royals and the Markles

'You know what, it will have a sobering effect on the Markles, I'm sure, and all this family drama, everybody will just sit down and get really mellow and conservative – wouldn't the world love that?'Addressing her younger sister directly, she apologized for some of the things she has said in the past, and said sorry for the 'tension and confusion and misunderstandings'

She told DailyMailTV: 'I'm so excited, I'm so happy for you and I really, really am sorry for any of the past tension and confusion and misunderstandings and asinine things I've said when I just didn't understand what was going on and I wanted things to work out for my dad

'But this is just a great time for you guys and Meg, I love you. Congratulations to both of you

Let's just let it all go and you two be wonderful happy parents – I'm so happy for both of you

Man Utd news: Chelsea will NOT win on Saturday for one big reason - pundit - Duration: 2:24.

 That is according to Liverpool legend and ESPN FC pundit Steve Nicol. Chelsea are favourites heading into this weekend's match at Stamford Bridge

 Maurizio Sarri's side are unbeaten after eight games of the season and level on points with Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the table

 Manchester United, meanwhile, have had a poor start to the campaign, losing three of their opening eight fixtures

 They did win on their last outing, coming from two goals down to beat Newcastle 3-2 at Old Trafford

 Nicol admits Chelsea are favourites to win the much-anticipated clash this Saturday

 However, he reckons Mourinho will set his team up hard to beat and come away with a share of the spoils

 "Well clearly Chelsea are the favourites," Nicol said. "They're at home, they're on a great run

 "Manchester United pulled a result out last time they stepped on the field in the Premier League

 "But this has got Mourinho written all over it. "You know he gets something from these types of games

 "I'm going to say this is a draw." Chelsea came out on top in this fixture last season, winning 1-0 in west London

 In fact, Jose Mourinho has lost all three matches at Stamford Bridge since he has been in charge of United

 Chelsea also beat United in the FA Cup final in May.

Chelsea news: Man Utd met Willian advisors for transfer talks - this is why deal collapsed - Duration: 2:53.

 Chelsea forward Willian was wanted by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, who brought the player to west London during his own time at Stamford Bridge

 The Red Devils boss was eager to sign an attacker this summer despite having Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford all capable of playing on the flanks

 And Football London say Willian's advisors met with United to discuss a move away from Chelsea as Mourinho sought reinforcements

 So why did the transfer collapse? United endured a horrific summer window with various targets failing to move to Old Trafford

 Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire both stayed at Tottenham and Leicester respectively, despite United's interest

 And Ivan Perisic, another player on United's radar, remained in Serie A with Inter Milan

 Football London say that United, however, failed to follow up their interest in Willian

 And that may have been because of Ed Woodward. Executive vice-chairman Woodward has adopted a transfer stance in recent years that means he has always has one eye on the future

 Willian, at nearly 30, would not have made sense from a business perspective as his sell-on fee would likely be minimal

 Woodward did sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in January despite the Chile international being the same age

 But Willian, simply put, does not possess the same hollywood status.  Meanwhile, the Brazilian recently opened up on United's interest, saying he never considered a move to Old Trafford

 "I always told him [Sarri] I'm really happy playing for Chelsea," he said. "I never talk about me leaving the club, this is a new era with the new boss and our first conversations have gone really well

 "And I hope to have a lot of victories for us."
