I am in Meteren.
I am visiting b&b The Gelderse Hoeve.
A b&b that is mostly used by people who work in the area,
but who don't like to stay in a hotel.
This b&b offers a cosy stay. You can work, have breakfast and ofcourse...
... sleep here.
There you see the a15.
So yuou're very close to the highway.
You''re in bigger cities like Utrecht or Den Bosch in half an hour.
This is very centrally located. Ideal for people who work around here.
The rooms are non-smoking.
In the social space downstairs, it is allowed.
The A, from alaminuut.
They have plastic lunch bags here.
So you can take some bread and make your own lunch!
Wow... after a breakfast like this, you are ready for a hard days work!
It's a very old house.
A 17th century farmhouse.
Original beams all over inside, very nice.
And a very green garden.
The weather isn't too good, but they're still watering it.
You don't find them greener then this!
Here you could have your wedding party. Long tables in the garden...
A little bit more sun. Lovely!
Oh dear... the water comes very close.
And you can't miss the fact, that you are in THE Orchards area of the Netherlands.
Because Meteren is a sleepy town, I went to Geldermalsen.
Geldermalsen is more fun, right?
Yes I can tell.
And it's market day in Geldermalsen!
They probably have no postcard form Metern, but maybe they have one from the Orchards.
