Waching daily Dec 30 2017

Manoah I'm so glad you're okay we thought your life support me to fail I'm

fine tired but I Amara this is Kara Danvers

Supergirl I can't believe it's really you

Cara this is Emma our Dean my wife

what is good YouTube Warstu here with a video on Supergirl season 3 so seen as

Supergirl season 3 is the strongest DC TV show go in on the CW network charm my

opinion I'm gonna be doing a lot of Supergirl videos coming up shortly as it

was a pretty cool first half of the season that rain fight when rain

absolutely destroyed Supergirl was immense so I'm gonna be covering a lot

of things so hopefully we can have some interest in conversations down in the

comment section so recently in an interview Amy Jackson who pays Imre

obviously Mao's girlfriend note Mao's wife aka Saturn go had an interview with

BBC Radio 1 where she said quite a lot things so the fan reaction to mah now

and car and not being together has been quite savage but at the end today we

know they're gonna get back together at some point so she had this to say she

had become a bit of a convent geek since joining DC family but explained that the

fan reaction of the superheroes often are very serious about their favorites

which for her translates some interesting responses from fans for

monel Supergirl Perrin I quote you should see some of the tweets I get said

Jackson they think the storyline is real but I love that because it helps me get

into it and the fans are so passionate that it makes me want to be passionate

about it obviously but they're not too keen on of the storyline what's

happening on Supergirl right now but it's to be continued wait until January

and then there see what can happen so it's clear from that statement that

caramel will return at some point which is gonna be a very interesting to see if

in Mars and Manos relationship is even real because when he first was awoken

from the ship absolutely it was very sketchy there was a lot of sketchy

things go on he had to get back to the ship for some

reason there's a lot going on that we don't know about so that's gonna be

quite cool and mana will be will be really upset the Supergirl got be so bad

that she nearly died by rain but if one hour went to the Future why didn't he

tell Supergirl what was going to happen because all this would have already

laid out in history I can't get my head around why didn't Warner but I guess

because Supergirl beats her in the end I guess the natural timeline has to play

out so he couldn't tell her or it could just be a massive CW pothole which seems

to happen so I'm quite looking forward to seeing what's gonna happen with this

love triangle of Supergirl Sango Hanuman out and also recently she also said

something about the Legion of super-heroes she said that they will be

using their flight rings and also they will be suiting up so I presume she was

on about the next episode which is quite cool so we're gonna get to see mano suit

that they've been teasing for such a long time now now we know that he is

part of the Legion of super-heroes and I presume because Brainiac 5 is

gonna be a next episode that he will be suiting up alongside Saturn girl so on

the Supergirl front it's looking pretty interesting guys so let me know in the

comments down below what do you think's going on do you think Carmel will be

back do you want to break up or do you want satin cone one else say together

what do you think it's gonna happen with suits how do you think the suits are

gonna look an awesome I mean how do you think Supergirl will defeat rain because

at the moment she stands absolutely no chance so hopefully these Supergirl

videos do well because I'm really really actually excited about Supergirl coming

back it's just a shame that there's gonna be a massive 9 week break which I

think is gonna affect the show massively so all your comments down below guys

let's get a massive conversation going on about what's gonna be coming up in

the up and coming episodes of Supergirl before it goes on a massive right anyway

guys please like subscribe and comment if you could that would be awesome hit

that Bell button down below to join Team wasyou and the warheads and we will

NHL NEWS - Bruce Cassidy not shying away from challenging Torey Krug - Duration: 3:46.

Bruce Cassidy not shying away from challenging Torey Krug

OTTAWA — With the Bruins tied late in the third period in Washington on Thursday, and then as the game went into overtime, Torey Krug found himself in an unusual place: the bench.

After the game, coach Bruce Cassidy didn't mince words when discussing Krug's play.

Many Bruins were given the day off in the frigid Canadian capital, including Krug (he still played 18-plus minutes), but Cassidy met reporters at the team hotel and expounded on his thoughts.

Did Cassidy think it would be a quick reset for Krug, or would it take a little longer to build his game back up?.

"I don't know if it happens overnight if there's a confidence issue," said Cassidy.

"I just see a guy that needs to use his feet more.

I don't think it's any different from a lot of defensemen we've talked about this year or last year about gap control.

It just makes it tougher to play against when you're up.

I think he's trying to get back on pucks as quickly as possible, assuming there's a dump, and that's not always the case and then he gets caught a little bit because there's room for the forward to play in front of him.

So that's what we talked to him about and hopefully he buys into it.

I think he believes that.

It's just that sometimes you don't even know it and you get loose like that.

That's what we're here for, to remind them.

He's a good player for the Bruins, he cares, so I'm sure he'll be better (tonight).".

It has been a different kind of year for Krug.

He suffered a broken jaw in training camp and, though he only missed one game at the start of the season, he had to play with a cumbersome football-like facemask.

He missed another three games in November with an undisclosed injury.

On top of that, his longtime defense partner, Adam McQuaid, has been out since Oct. 19 with a broken fibula and he's played mostly with sophomore Brandon Carlo.

Krug is a team-low minus-7.

On the other hand, he still leads Bruin defensemen in scoring with 6-14-20 totals in 32 games.

Krug brings a highly competitive attitude to the table.

You don't make it to the NHL as a 5-foot-9 defenseman without it.

It will be interesting to see how he responds.

NHL NEWS - James Reimer is 'the boss' in managing his practice time through heavy workload - Duration: 5:33.

James Reimer is 'the boss' in managing his practice time through heavy workload

The routine of a backup goaltender can become monotonous after a while.

Sit and watch as the starter receives the majority of the playing time, manning the entrance and exit to the bench and sporting a baseball cap.

Games can go by slowly.

For Panthers goaltender James Reimer, that was his life when Roberto Luongo was excelling throughout the month of November.

As Luongo was seemingly unbeatable in net, Reimer only got the call when Florida played on back-to-back nights.

Since Luongo suffered a lower-body injury on Dec.

4, though, Reimer has assumed the starting role, starting 10 straight games for Florida.

With more playing time also comes an adjusted schedule.

Because of Reimer's heavy workload with Luongo out, he's scaled back his practice minutes recently, facing fewer shots and spending less time on the ice.

"Your mindset is the same when you come the rink," Reimer said.

"You want to be the best and stop every shot.

You just face a few less.".

Reimer has been hot during Florida's current four-game winning streak, posting a .957 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average.

He earned his first shutout of the season when he blanked Ottawa on Saturday.

He also was named the NHL's third star of the week last week.

Reimer's play comes at an important time for the Panthers, who are trying to remain relevant in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

Current backup Harri Sateri has never played in a NHL game.

With Luongo likely out until at least late January, coach Bob Boughner and the Panthers will lean on Reimer a bit longer.

"We're trying to monitor that and we look ahead at our schedule, how we want to play guys, this and that," Boughner said.

"When he's rolling like that and a goalie's in the zone, we don't want to disturb him too much.

He sort of is the boss of that.

He gets what he needs out there and he lets us know when he's had enough.".

The Panthers held a brief practice on Friday morning, only lasting about 30 minutes.

Not only does Reimer see less rubber during practice, but he also alters his off-ice habits.

As a backup, he'll spend more time in the weight room to get stronger.

As a starter, he'll work on core exercises but his workouts won't be as extensive since he has the benefit of a 2 1/2-hour workout during games.

"When you're not playing, you always want to make sure you're getting stronger and you're working real hard in practice," Reimer said.

"Obviously, you're going 110 percent and you're working as long as possible.

I think now, when you're playing more, you're still working 110 percent, but you shorten the work day a little but so that you're rested and ready to go for the next day.".

Reimer also made a slight tweak in his game that has improved his play: widening his stance.

He's not sure which game exactly it started, but attributed the adjustment to film study.

"Going over some video, felt like maybe getting a little wider would help out," Reimer said.

"In the game, it's a fluid game, right? Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't.".

Reimer jokes that he doesn't have to expend a ton of energy once he leaves the rink, since his daughter is only 11 months old.

("It's not like I have to chase them around the house or have to go play street hockey for two hours," he said.).

NHL NEWS - Capitals don't take many shots, but they're trying to make them count - Duration: 9:20.

Capitals don't take many shots, but they're trying to make them count

There's that famous Wayne Gretzky saying, "you miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take." It's morphed into an inspirational quote for life, but it also speaks to a conventional wisdom in hockey, that shot volume is considered a correlation to scoring goals.

Well, Capitals Coach Barry Trotz has his own expression that he's called upon in the past: "They only count one stat and that's the one they put on the scoreboard.".

Washington is ranked dead-last in the NHL in shots on goal per game with 28.67, and while the Capitals want to put more pucks on net, they're also inadvertently challenging the need.

They rank 31st in shots, but their 2.95 goals per game is 12th, even after they went back-to-back games without a goal.

That's why the Capitals aren't concerned about their low shot volume or that their fifth-ranked shooting percentage (8.96) could be due for regression in the future.

They think there might be an exception for highly skilled shooters, of which Washington has plenty, and players say this team's identity is to be picky.

"I don't feel like we're not getting looks or not getting enough shots," center Lars Eller said.

"I wouldn't put too much into that.

But what you can take away from it is that we have a lot of talented scorers, so when we do shoot, the chances of scoring are pretty high.

It's better that way than the other way around, shooting a lot and not scoring a lot.".

Said Trotz: "We look at the quality of shots.

I mean, just throwing the puck with no one in front from the blue line has got like a 1 percent chance of going in, so unless there's someone there, we're probably not throwing it there.

We're trying to get our shooting percentage in areas where we can be a little better.

But yeah, we're not a shoot-first mentality on our team, and that shows up in some of the analytics.".

There's a balance.

Some teams have a philosophy to shoot often, even the low-percentage shots, in the hopes of creating chaos in front of the net with tips, deflections or rebounds.

"We play Nashville, and they [expletive] shoot from everywhere, like from the blue line, and I think it's just sort of a team identity," Eller said.

After adjusting for score effects on NHL statistical site Natural Stat Trick, the Predators take 46.19 unblocked shot attempts at five-on-five per 60 minutes, 10th in the league, but that only converts to 26.7 scoring chances, 23rd in the league, and 10.21 high-danger chances, ranked 20th.

It works for them with 3.19 goals per game, one of the NHL's highest-scoring teams.

The Pittsburgh Penguins take the most even-strength shots per 60 minutes (35.77) when the game is within one.

But they're scoring less than the Capitals with 2.75 goals per game, and they're last in the league in converting scoring chances (29.63 per 60 minutes) into goals.

The Penguins are arguably unlucky, and there's a case to be made that their formula has a higher chance of success over a long period of time.

Shot attempts — on goal, missed or blocked — are generally considered a gauge of possession.

Going back to the 2005-06 season, 10 of the past 12 eventual Stanley Cup winners put at least half of score-adjusted even-strength shot attempts in their favor during the regular season.

The two outliers, the 2006 Carolina Hurricanes (48.2 percent) and the 2009 Penguins (48.4 percent), were close.

In addition to those two, only one other team in the past 11 seasons has reached the Stanley Cup Finals with a score-adjusted shot attempt percentage of less than 50 percent: the 2008 Penguins (45.7 percent).

The Capitals' current score-adjusted five-on-five shot attempt percentage is 48.15, among the NHL's bottom 10 in that category.

They take 40.49 unblocked shot attempts per 60 minutes, and while that's relatively low, their 28.22 scoring chances are middle-of-the-pack for the NHL.

"Shot totals are very misleading a lot of the time," goaltender Braden Holtby said.

"The high-danger stuff is a better stat that people are coming up with, because you know not many goalies are going to let in a clear slap shot from the point if it's not tipped or screened.

I think that's something we've been really working on this year with [goaltending coach Scott Murray] and the coaches, they're all kind of buying into that, how to create high-danger shots and not give the goalies confidence.

For the most part, I think we've been getting better and better at it.

. . ."Guys are understanding it and guys are thinking about it, and you can tell.

We're trying to make those difficult plays on goalies, and it's creating goals that aren't lucky.

They're earned.".

To Holtby's point, since Nov.

22, when the team's play turned a corner for the better, the Capitals are ranked eighth in the NHL with 11.95 score-adjusted high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes at five-on-five.

Roughly 29 percent of Washington's unblocked shot attempts in those situations are considered high-danger scoring chances.

There can be a downside to being so picky, too, and the Capitals are guilty of overpassing at times or getting "too fine," as Trotz puts it.

But it's all part of this team's identity.

"I don't know what the right answer to that is," forward Tom Wilson said.

"Obviously you want to shoot the puck and you want to make things happen, and you can't score without shooting.

But we've got a lot of good players in this room that you want to trust their instinct with the puck and you want to trust their ability to make a play.

If they don't feel the shot's there, then you know what, they're going to hold onto it and maybe look for a better opportunity.

Maybe they're not going to just throw it away.".

NHL NEWS - Brendan Leipsic's 1st goal of season excites Golden Knights teammates - Duration: 5:52.

Brendan Leipsic's 1st goal of season excites Golden Knights teammates

One of the favorite locker room pastimes of Golden Knights players has been ribbing Brendan Leipsic for not scoring a goal.

Now that Leipsic finally is on the scoresheet, they'll have to find another reason to give him a hard time.

"They'll find a way," Leipsic said Friday following the Knights practice at City National Arena.

"I've already been getting some today from this guy right beside me (James Neal).

It doesn't take much around here, but it's all in good fun.".

Leipsic, who didn't have a goal in his first 27 appearances for the Knights, jammed home a rebound in the third period of Thursday's 3-2 overtime victory at Los Angeles to the delight of his teammates.

"Everyone was really excited to see him get one," said Neal, whose locker is next to Leipsic's.

"He's been playing hard and he's been getting some good looks, so to see him finally get one was a good feeling.

And you could see how excited he was.

It was a big goal at the time, too, so it was nice to see.".

The snakebitten Leipsic had numerous chances this season to end his scoring drought, including a breakaway against Washington on Dec.

23 that was turned away by goaltender Braden Holtby.

But Leipsic was in the right place at the right time against the Kings, pouncing on a loose puck at the top of the crease to give the Knights a 2-1 lead with 8:50 remaining in regulation.

It was the second career goal for the old rookie, 23, who scored for Toronto in his first NHL game on Feb.

13, 2016.

Defenseman Brad Hunt is the lone skater on the Knights' current roster to play this season and not score.

"I just went out there and played with energy, you know.

Just kept shooting the puck," Leipsic said.

"I had some breakaways, and I had some chances I probably would have liked to see go in.

I just focused on playing my game and not holding the stick too tight, I guess.".

Leipsic's family was at Staples Center for the game Thursday, along with another special visitor.

Hockey Hall of Famer Teemu Selanne greeted Leipsic with a congratulatory hug before the Pacific Division-leading Knights (25-9-2) flew back to Las Vegas ahead of Sunday's 12:30 p.m.

matinee against the Maple Leafs (23-14-1).

Leipsic's mother, Kathleen, is close friends with Selanne's wife from their time in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Leipsic wears No.

13 in honor of "The Finnish Flash," who played three-plus seasons with the Jets before he was traded to Anaheim in 1996.

"He's a family friend of ours from days back in Winnipeg, so it was cool to see him there," Leipsic said.

Leipsic has seen his ice time fluctuate this season while he continues to work on his defensive game.

He played a season-low 9:24 against Toronto on Nov.

6 and was a healthy scratch the next three games.

Leipsic recorded an assist Nov.

16 in a 5-2 win at Vancouver and hasn't been out of the lineup since, a span of 19 straight games.

The left wing has 11 assists in 28 games skating on the Knights third line with center Cody Eakin and right wing Alex Tuch.

"He's played well.

He's competed," Knights coach Gerard Gallant said of Leipsic.

"The line's played real well the last couple games.

They've scored key goals for us.

It's a line that plays well and works hard and the more they play well, the more they're going to play.".

NHL NEWS - Minor league game 'enjoyable' for Wild's Zach Parise - Duration: 7:30.

Minor league game 'enjoyable' for Wild's Zach Parise

Zach Parise hadn't played in a real game since April 22.

That's 250 days away from hockey for the co-highest-paid player on the Wild.

Well, Thursday, the winger was finally back on the ice, albeit with the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild in Des Moines in a 6-3 loss to Rockford.

Minus the five casual pickup games in Da Beauty League this past summer, that was Parise's first real action since missing most of training camp and all of the season so far with an injury that led to microdiscectomy surgery in late October.

"It all comes back pretty quickly," Parise said Friday after morning skate at Xcel Energy Center.

"But there was a lot of excitement just to be back and get on the ice for warmups and just get in a game situation finally.

I was really excited to do that and happy that it went really well.

Keep making progress after that, but I really enjoyed it, and I thought it was a good step for me.".

Parise logged an assist on Luke Kunin's goal in the first period, but Parise said it took him a bit to feel comfortable.

"I'd say it took a period, a period and a half.

That first period was pretty tough," Parise said.

"Once you've got to make plays at top speed, you get tired pretty quickly because the endurance level isn't there.

That's stuff I'll have to work through and be patient and know that it'll come.

But take a little bit to knock the rust off.

"There wasn't a lot of hitting in the game as it was, but I would say probably a little tentative.," Parise said of his start.

"And then after that, started to touch the puck a little more and get involved a little more in the corners and things like that, and I thought it went well.".

Wild coach Bruce Boudreau said he felt Parise came back to the NHL team "feeling pretty good about himself.

"He played 15 minutes-plus, started out a little tentative, as you can expect anyone would.

But as the game went on, he got better," Boudreau said.

"He got quicker. He got more involved.

And by the end of the game, he was doing well.

So I mean, for a first time a guy's played in what? Since April? That's pretty good.".

Parise said he hadn't spoken with General Manager Chuck Fletcher yet about a game plan for his return.

And while conditioning stints can last up to 14 days, Parise said he was unsure whether he would need to head back down to Iowa for another game or not.

But even if it was only for one night, Parise said he had "a lot of fun.

" Probably so did the more than 7,000 fans who attended, though dollar dog night might have been a factor as well.

Dubnyk's return.

After seven games and two periods on the sidelines, Devan Dubnyk started in goal Friday, making 41 saves in the Wild's 4-2 victory over Nashville at Xcel Energy Center.

Dubnyk left after the first period of Dec.

12's Calgary game when he felt a pop that led to his lower-body injury.

He said he knew something was wrong right away but had never had an injury like that before, so he finished the period so he wouldn't have to put his goalie partner in the tough position of coming off the bench.

He eased back into his start, first skating again Dec. 21 before sitting on the bench as Alex Stalock's backup Wednesday against Dallas.

While Dubnyk said he still feels a little sore, and it will probably be like that for a while, he hasn't experienced any "hesitation in movements on the ice" since Dec.

23.

The goalie said it was just one specific spot causing him pain, which in a way made recovery easier because it didn't impact more than just that area.

When he first skated again, he said he wasn't sure if he would be able to manage the butterfly move so routine for his position, but the more he did it, the better he felt, and it improved from there.

"It hasn't been that long, but it feels like a long time," Dubnyk said.

"Just got to try to keep my approach simple.

It usually only takes a couple minutes to get back into feeling normal.

I've just got to concentrate on a couple small things and get back into the flow.".

Injury slowdown.

Nino Niederreiter, who left the Dec.

22 game at Florida because of a foot or ankle injury, and Parise might return next week.

Niederreiter skated Friday and will continue to skate through the weekend.

"It's frustrating at the point when you look in August and say, 'You know what? Things are looking pretty good.' But then you might not get that team until January," Boudreau said.

"Hopefully in January when we get that team, we'll look pretty good.".

WWE News - Legendary Wrestling Podcast Going Through MAJOR Change - Duration: 3:48.

WWE News - Legendary Wrestling Podcast Going Through MAJOR Change

Colt Cabana plans on drastically changing the format of his podcast Art Of Wrestling in 2018 from long form interviews to something else.

There are more pro wrestling podcasts that one person could possibly have the time to listen to nowadays. It feels like almost everyone in the business has stepped into the podcasting realm.

While the likes of Chris Jericho and Steve Austin are the ones that spring to mind initially, Colt Cabana is the man that started it all.

Cabana started his podcast, the Art Of Wrestling, all the way back in the summer of 2010. The reason behind it was to give fans an easier way to get to know the names and faces of independent wrestling.

There is no doubt that Cabana has managed to do that. Seven and a half years and 350 episodes later, pretty much anyone who's anyone on the indie circuit has sat opposite Cabana on AOW.

Now though, the wrestling podcast innovator is looking to broaden his and AOW's horizons. Cabana announced on the latest episode of his show that as of March 2018, the podcast will be undergoing some pretty big changes.

Instead of long-form, one on one interviews with guests he will be chronicling his adventures on the independent scene. It will likely be similar to what he already does with Wrestling Road Diaries.

As mentioned above, the reason Cabana started the podcast over seven years ago was to help connect fans with independent wrestling.

The reason he is changing that is because now, there are so many podcasts out there that what he initially set out to do is being done all over the place.

Cabana clearly believes that his podcast is no longer original and he wants to change that.

He normally gives a quick recap of his week on the indies at the start of each show anyway, now he will just be doing that in more detail it seems.

It can certainly be argued that without Cabana's foray into the podcast world that we may not be in the position we are with them today.

Yes, podcasts have taken off beyond belief in all walks of life but Cabana pioneered them in his industry.

He certainly knows what he's doing when it comes to this and will likely enjoy just as much success when he changes AOW to a new format.
