We are in a land of olives but also of spectacular landscape and charming villages.
We have come to the Gata mountain range, in Cáceres (Extremadura).
We start the visit in Robledillo de Gata, a typical village in this mountain range.
Its houses were built with sun-dried brick and wood.
From Descargamaría you can take a guided route in a 4x4 car so that you can enjoy the best views.
This stone is called "the dolmen"!

The typical dish in this area is the goat stew.
We are in Santibañez El Alto, one of the most characteristic villages of Gata.
We have to burn up the goat stew climbing the castle.
It's a village with a stone wall, typical of this area so close to the border.
It has beautiful labyrinthian streets and a castle above the village.
We are in Trevejo, a village of just 12 citizens.
