Celine Gimpirea: Filmmaking is to me
the best way to get my message out there.

Having this collaboration with all the people here,
allowed different inputs
into what would otherwise be a very narrow story.
That makes me look at shooting differently,
and that makes me look at directing performances,
directing camera, directing generally
much differently,
and that just makes me a better storyteller.

Jean Balest: The nature of documentary, you know,
you really want to get up in your subject's face.
Capturing the images on RED RAVEN,
I think really serves the project.
There's so much that you can do in terms of the range of color.
I'm really excited to be able to continue to work
in this digital format.

Krista Amigone: I'm a stay-at-home mom
and I starting writing for the stage and decided,
"Well, why can't I write something for the screen?"

This is my first time editing and I love it.
Final Cut Pro is extremely intuitive, user-friendly,
which I especially appreciate being a first-time editor.
Celine: The color tones in the new Final Cut Pro X
are wonderful in allowing us to tell our story better.
Valerie Faris: You've got it kind of roughly assembled,
and would you say you've picked your favorite takes of things?
Celine: This shot --
Valerie: Can you show me some of this?
Celine: Yeah.
Manon Banta: Let's get it down there so we know,
for the story-wise, what's there.
Krista: Filmmaking is hard work, but it's extremely gratifying.
My hopes for the film are to entertain
and touch as many people as possible.
