Real Madrid news: Isco plays matches like a kick-about and I do not mind that - Zidane
Real Madrid secured their first La Liga win of the season at the Bernabeu yesterday with. Isco grabbed both goals as Los Blancos wrapped up a good week which saw them beat Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the Champions League.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who hit a double in Europe, is still looking to open his account in La Liga this term. The Portuguese star contributed to the win over Espanyol, as he provided an assist for the opener.
And Zidane thinks Real are seeing the best of Isco now. "Hes looking very confident. He knows how important he is to Real Madrid," Zidane said.
"He plays as if its a kick-about and I like that. "He keeps going and if things dont come off for him, hes patient and he doesnt panic. "Hes comfortable out on the pitch, with his teammates, and Im thrilled that were seeing the best of Isco more and more.".
Speaking more generally about the performance, Zidane added: "We were a bit tired in the second half. Thats to be expected after the seven games weve played recently. "We dropped off physically.
The bad thing is that not many of my players will get a rest, theyre not going to have any days off. "Theyve got an important week with World Cup qualifiers and the most important thing is for them not to pick up any injuries.".
