Good morning, Cuyahoga Falls High School.
I'm Dom Alexander and I'm Ali Thompson.
Here's what's happening:

The cheerleaders will be competing at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Monday November 6th and
would love for you to come support us!
Sign up to ride the superfan bus to the competition.
Sign up at lunch.
Permission slips are due Friday November 3rd by lunch.
Students who turn permission slips in by Wednesday November 1st will be entered into a drawing
to receive a free ticket to the competition!
We will be giving away up to 25 tickets in this raffle!
Any student interested in wrestling for CFHS this winter season, there will be sign ups
and meeting on Monday October 30th after school at 2:45 in room 413.
If you have any questions please see Mr. Caruso in room 220 and Mr. Salzwimmer in room 413.
Chess club will meet in room 310 after school on Tuesday, October 31.
Boards will be provided.
Dodgeball teams are now forming!
Teams of 8-10 students can participate in a dodgeball tournament.
Games begin November 9th . The winning team will compete against the teachers!
Forms are available at the Student Council table at lunch.
Halloween is just around the corner!
Students are encouraged to wear costumes on Tuesday October 31st.
No masks and no weapons.
Let's see your Halloween Spirit!
If you are interested in joining Dance Team, there will be a mandatory meeting in the cafeteria
this Thursday after school.
If you cannot attend this meeting or have questions, please see Mrs. DeCamp or Ms. Cuevas.
Clinics will start next week.
There are 50 more parking passes are available for the price of $50.
Passes are available in the activities office.

The class of 2021 is selling class shirts!
T-shirts are on sale for 5 dollars and longsleeve shirts are on sale for 12 dollars.
Fill out an order form and return it with your money to room 700 or in your lunch.
They will be on sale up until November 17th.
As soon as the selling ends, shirts will be distributed to homerooms.
Show off your school spirit by buying a shirt!

North Korea missile test IMMINENT?
Donald Trump in firing line during Asia visit THIS WEEK
KIM Jong-un may fire a ballistic missile to coincide with Donald Trump's trip to Asia-Pacific
later this week, according to North Korea experts.
The US President is due to embark on a highly anticipated tour of Asian nations this week
with tensions between Pyongyang and Washington at fever pitch.
Trump is widely expected to send a stern message to North Korea during his second major foreign
trip November 3 and 14.
Trump has repeatedly issued explosive warnings to North Korea over its nuclear and missile
programmes, including a threat to "totally destroy" the nation.
But Anita Kumar, reporter for McClatchy News, has urged Trump to "watch what language
he uses" during the trip over fears he could provoke the secretive state.
Citing experts, Kumar said that North Korea may conduct its 23rd missile test of 2017
during Trump's trip.
"What experts are telling me, though, is that there might be a missile test by North
Korea while President Trump is traveling," she warned.
"That's going to put him on the spot while he's in China or South Korea."
"So that would be huge," Kumar, speaking on MSNBC, added.
"He'd have to decide then and there how to react."
South Korean defence sources also believe that the North Korea may fire a missile when
Trump visits the region, according to Yonhap News Agency.
Talking about Trump's focus during the trip, Kumar said: "His number one top priority
is North Korea."
The US, South Korea and Japan has urged Kim to refrain from "irresponsible provocations"
in a joint statement just days ahead of Trump's visit.
Last week James Mattis, US secretary of defence, said the US will launch a "massive military
response" should North Korea use nuclear weapons.
He said: "Any use of nuclear weapons will be met with a massive military response that's
both effective and overwhelming."
Mattis issued the warning during his visit to South Korea, where he made a speech at
Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) – the just metres from North Korea.
In a rare and provocative move, Mattis, a retired US Marine Corps general, condemned
the "threats posed" by Kim and his "oppressive regime".
"North Korean provocations continue to threaten regional and world peace and despite unanimous
condemnation by the United Nations' Security Council they still proceed," Mattis said.
His speech came after Pyongyang warned the world its threats to test a hydrogen bomb
above ground should be taken "literally".
Trump is due to visit to South Korea on November 7 in a symbolic show of support to the US
ally.
The US has dispatched three nuclear-powered aircraft carriers to the region ahead of the
visit.
