Welcome to "tennis in a minute" today we'll talk about point of contact on your forehand

two things we should take in consideration: one your stance and two you grip

with the more traditional closed stance

the point of contact with the continental grip will be right in front of your right hip

eastern grip the contact will be in between the two hips

with the semi western will move in front of the left hip

and western which is not recomended for this stance will be further out, in front of the left foot

with a semi or full open stance

point of contact with a continental grip would be on the side of right hip

eastern would be in front of right hip

semi western in front of the left hip

and western which is the more common grip for this stance would be a little ahead both feet
