"Your Tender Love Warms My Heart": A Listener Story from China
In September, we received incredible news from Kyrgyzstan that our request
for a new license in the city of Talas was granted by the government!
This means our staff begins preparations for installing the tower immediately, and may
have it up and running by the end of 2017!
God has already shown FEBC Kyrgyzstan so much favor and we can't wait to see how He will
continue to open doors with this station.
In September 2017, three FEBC Cambodia staff went to Pailin Province in Cambodia
to four villages to distribute 124 Gospel boxes.
The staff coordinated with a local pastor friend, Kim Sen, who pointed out those who needed the radios most.
The majority of the listeners are women from farmer families with very little money,
so these radios are prized possessions for them.
We have great news from the country of Malawi in Africa!
In the month of September, 11 Yao Muslims came to faith in Jesus Christ!
Over the last year, our small team in Malawi has seen their efforts rewarded with several
instances of people putting their faith in Jesus Christ because of the radio programs
and visits by the local staff.
India is struggling to cope with severe flooding, with more than 1,200 people killed
and 40 million impacted.
In response to this natural disaster, FEBC India has deployed its First Response Radio team
establishing a temporary radio station within 72 hours.
Radios were distributed and broadcasting began, providing listeners with up to date critical
information and health advice, along with counseling and support to assist with recovery
and restoration of livelihoods.
We're encouraged every day by the stories we hear from our listeners.
