New Student Orientation – new date for evening students!
You are invited to an orientation to learn about what you can expect at Emily Griffith!
At this orientation you will learn about: ENGLISH course options, GED, Career and Technical Programs,
Pathways to further education, Scholarships, Student Services, Student IDs, School email addresses,
and Who at Emily Griffith can help
When: Monday, April 3, 9:30-10:30, 11:00-12:00, or 1:30-2:30
Wednesday, April 5, 5:15-6:00 Where: Room 416

FREE Coffee Shop Class Do you want to practice your English and get job training?
Join our free Coffee Shop class.
When: 8:00, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, or 12:00 PM / Monday to Friday for 8 weeks
For: Students in Levels 2, 3, 4 Registration or questions: Visit the ELA Main Office (room 426)
FREE Conversation Club – NOW on Mondays AND Thursdays
Practice English with native speakers.

Citizenship Workshop Are you ready to become a U.S. Citizen?
Lutheran Family Services is conducting a citizenship workshop for eligible lawful permanent residents.
An immigration lawyer will assist with preparing and submitting the N-400 application and/or fee waiver forms.

HEALTH FREE Healthy Cooking Class (Fridays 11:00
AM – 1:00 PM) Cooking Matters is coming to Emily Griffith!
Learn how to eat healthy on a budget.
In each class, students will prepare a meal together, learn nutritional information, and
get a FREE bag of food to take home.

LOST AND FOUND Did you lose something?
If you lose your glasses, gloves, notebook, student ID or anything else at school,
it will go in the lost-and-found box in the ELA office, room 426.
The box is near the copy machine, just outside of room 426-A. Some lost items in the box
have been there for a long time, including several pairs of glasses.
If you lost something in your English class, check the lost and found--it might be there.
