Hi, welcome La Cocina de Broumery.

Today we are going to make a delicious Cream of Pumpkin, with few ingredients and very easy to do !!!!

Let's begin, the ingredients that we are going to use are the following:

20ml olive oil

Pinch of pepper

3 garlic cloves

¼ tsp salt

½ small onion

200ml cooking cream

350g pumpkin

400ml water approximately

Elaboration In a saucepan add the pumpkin water and salt.

Cook for up to about 10 minutes until the squash is tender.

In another casserole add the oil when it is a little hot add the onion cook for 2 minutes

and now add the garlic and continue cooking

when we see that they are almost golden add the pumpkin and the water where it was cooking

add the pepper and let cook for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes add the coocking cream we remove and let cook for 5 minutes more.

Now we move away from the fire and let it rest a little.

Finally we take it to the blender and liquefy until the mixture is like a cream.

This is the consistency we want !!!!!

Now she is ready to serve and eat.

When we launched the project, there were 10 of us founders.

We thought: How could we empower an entire population to take charge of their lives,

to decide its own economic, cultural and social future?

For me, La Ruche is first and foremost a tool

that allows an entire community to take part in other people's projects,

to get in on some of their success and say:

"There's a little bit of me in that."

So, it worked out alright, right?

I guess we call ourselves urban nomads.

We don't necessarily work out of a fixed office.

But we do go to people, since that's part of our mission.

We want to get out and see them.

Is that something you ever would have expected?

We just passed our goal last week, so we went out and celebrated. We were thrilled…

It's our human approach, I think. That's our signature,

when you come down to it.

The La Ruche campaign gets them talking

about the zero-waste concept.

It's an unbelievable project.

For me, that's what I like the most.

Being with the actual promoters.

We help them at many different levels, depending on their needs.

Getting that investment from people, that was huge for us.

It enabled us to get set up and purchase equipment.

All the people we meet are entrepreneurs who want to change their lives.

Or you could say we are ambassadors who want to take part in other people's projects,

to make our entire region's dreams a reality.

Really, La Ruche is a reflection of a population taking charge of its destiny.

Here, we're not talking just about my little business. It's many people's business.

What motivates me is the fact that we're building something.

When someone submits a project, we're there for them.

A real person gets in touch with the budding entrepreneur.

I personally think that one day, every city in the world

could have a model inspired by La Ruche.
