As we all know,
There are different platforms
which allows us hosting an email account.
One of the best known
are Yahoo, Hotmal or GMail
In this video we are going to focus on
how to improve in an easy way
the security in our GMail account
thanks to the 2-step verification
2-STEP VERIFICATION Our GMail account
provides us the chance of verify
our identity twice.
Firstly, we have to introduce
our username and password,
and once we have done this step,
we will be asked for including a code
which Google will send us by SMS
to the phone number associated to our account.
In this way, we will ensure
that any intruder can accede to the account.
How to active this functionality?
Introduce on the web browser
"2-step verification"
and click on the first link.
In the two following interfaces,
select the "Start" option.
Log in with the username and password.
Then, we will be asked for
a phone number to vinculate
with our account.
This is the number in which we will receive
the message with the code that we've to introduce.
Once we introduce the number
into the corresponding field,
we will see on the screen
that this functionality have been activated.
It is important to know
that every time you log in
you will be send a new code.
