A rain delay at the beginning of the Sunoco Campbell Oil Classic had no effect on the

Braves earlier this week... dominating the fifty-four hole tournament.

Six Braves earned top twenty-five finishes as Pembroke came out on top.

This is the second title of the season for the Black and Gold, who beat out Division

one Bucknell.

At the event, the Lady Braves made program history -- earning a final score of 9-hundred

and eight, which is seventeen strokes from the previous record.

Freshman Katy Flax fired a final-round score of seventy-three to become the second freshman

in U-N-C-P history to win an individual title.

The Braves will travel to Saint Augustine, Florida next month when they compete in the

Peach-Belt Conference Championships.

In track and field, the men's and women's teams continue to have successful performances,

placing second at the Florida Division Two Challenge.

The athletes... once again.... set personal best-times or marks -- with a total of seventeen.

For the men, Kory Jones took top honors in the high jump and long jump.

The women's squad also climbed to the top of the podium in the four by one-hundred meter.

The Black and Gold racked up forty-three top-five finishes and grabbed nine event titles.

Braves will travel to George Mason and High Point where the teams will split to compete

in the Colonial Relays and the Vurt-class Meeting.

Coming off their impressive win over number one-ranked North Georgia -- U-N-C Pembroke

baseball clenched its fifth victory -- in their last six outings -- to cruise past Barton

twenty-six to three.

The Black and Gold set the tone early, scoring three runs in the first.

The Braves went scoreless in the second... but gained momentum, to edge their lead fourteen

to three.

The Bulldogs were limited to three runs in the fifth before becoming scoreless in the

rest of the match-up.

The Braves scored multiple runs in seven different frames to produce the most runs since 2-thousand

and seven.

The win saw five Braves recording three or more hits.

After U-N-C-P baseball's three and one record last week, freshman Jarratt Mobley earned

P-B-C player of the week honors earlier this week.

Mobley hit nine for fifteen with two home runs.

The freshman also scored ten R-B-Is and five runs, while grabbing a pair of bases and registering

a perfect fielding percentage in nine defensive chances.

More recently, Mobley was also named Hitter of the week.

The Braves will travel to Georgia this weekend when they play Georgia Southwestern.

The softball team played its longest game inning-wise since 2-thousand and eleven last

weekend... falling to P-B-C foe Flagler in the sweep.

This was the Brave's eighteenth lost of the season, which marked the longest losing streak

in program history.

And now... the Lady Braves have snapped that losing streak-- beating Fayetteville State

in a sweep.

The Broncos couldn't score a run off the Braves, which left the visitors scoreless in each

match-up.

The Braves will be back at home this weekend when they play Francis Marion.

The final four is set for this weekend's tournament... with two Carolina teams on the schedule.

The South Carolina Gamecocks will make their first Final Four appearance in school history...

playing against Gonzaga.

The Tar Heels will continue their redemption tour after-- falling short in last year's

tournament -- when they play Oregon.

South Carolina will also make an appearance on the women's side when they play Stanford.

U-CONN will make their tenth straight appearance in the tournament seeking their fifth consecutive

title.

The Huskies will be playing against Mississippi State.

That's it for me.

Back to the studio!

Thanks, Deja.

. . .That's all we've got time for...

Furious wife sparks bar brawl after 'catching husband and his mistress drinking together'

The jilted wife lost her temper and lashed out at her 'cheating' partner when she discovered he was spending time with another woman

This is the moment a raging woman sparked a huge bar brawl after allegedly catching her husband and his mistress drinking together.

The jilted wife spotted the pair sitting side-by-side at a plastic table, enjoying a drink with a third woman, at a bar in Rio Verde, central Brazil.

Marching over to her partner, the furious woman was filmed slapping him across the head before moving onto his alleged lover. She then punches the mistress in the face and grabs hold of her hair before dragging her across the bar.

The angry wife slaps her husband across the head . The womans husband attempts to push himself between the warring women and eventually pushes his wife to the other side of the bar.

But shes not finished, and simply picks up a red plastic chair in an attempt to strike her hubby over the head, the footage shows.

He tries to fight back, before other customers at the bar are forced to pull them apart.

She then grabs her husbands alleged mistress by the hair . As the wife is turfed out of the establishment, she spots her husband making a getaway.

She chases him down the street, apparently hellbent on continuing her attack. She then rips at his shirt as onlookers try to separate them.

At this point, another woman, believed to be the wifes friend, suddenly appears to join in the attack.

The brawl continues onto the street. After passers-by finally manage to break up the brawl, the shirtless husband returns to the bar to finish his drink.

It is believed the incident occurred at around 1pm on February 19. It is not known if anyone sustained injuries as a result of the fight, or if police were called.

The clip , which was posted on YouTube in last week, has now been viewed more than 275,000 times.
