First News This Morning Weather Update - Duration: 3:05.30s to start on this Saturday
morning. We are finally starting
to dry out after a soggy
end to the workweek. Most of the
rain moved out late last evening
and we just
had a few periods of light rain
or drizzle overnight. The
potential for a sprinkle
or drizzle is possible this
morning. Otherwise it is going
to be a cloudy day to start the
first weekend in April.
Afternoon highs will be cooler
today than yesterday
with temperatures only reaching
the lower to middle 40s into
this afternoon. It could be
breezy at times today with winds
out of the NW at 5 to 15 MPH.
High pressure will move in
through the day and we'll start
to see clearing skies into
tonight. Clouds will
decrease overnight. A few
pockets of fog are possible,
otherwise it will be a quiet
night.
Temperatures will drop to near
freezing toward early Sunday
morning with lows expected in
the lower 30s.. It will be a
chilly start to the day on
Sunday with
temperatures climbing out of the
30s. Expect partly to mostly
sunny skies to wrap up the
weekend on Sunday. Winds will be
calm and out of the west. Clouds
will be on the
increase late Sunday into Monday
but the Valley will stay dry.
Overnight temperatures will not
be as cool Sunday night -
they'll only drop back to the
lower 40s.
I expect conditions to be dry
for the Monday morning commute.
Clouds will thicken up
through the day and rain showers
will develop. You'll need the
umbrellas for the afternoon and
evening commute with rain
showers likely for the second
half of the day.
The 60s will return on Monday
with a high of 61 expected. The
clouds and rain will
continue into Monday night with
overnight temperatures staying
mind - into the lower 50s. It
will be a soggy day on Tuesday
with mostly cloudy skies and
rain showers
likely. Afternoon temperatures
will be slightly warmer than
average with a high of
58 expected. Conditions will dry
out heading into Tuesday night.
Mostly cloudy skies are likely
with an overnight low of 42.
Better weather returns on
Wednesday with
partly sunny skies. Afternoon
temperatures will return to the
lower
60s. The break from the wet
weather will be short-lived.
Scattered showers will develop
late Wednesday night and the
risk for showers and
thunderstorms
returns will continue on
Thursday. High temperatures will
be back to the middle
50s. The workweek will end with
mostly cloudy skies. Friday will
feature clouds and
the chance for rain showers.
High temperatures will be below
average with temperatures
staying in the middle 40s. The
second weekend in April will
start with
clouds and a 40% chance of rain
showers. Temperatures on
Saturday will stay on the cool
side with highs only reaching
the middle 40s. [1450]SAT AM
