BREAKING News From SECRET SERVICE- WASHINGTON D.C. ON HIGH

ALERT!!!

The U.S. Secret Service announced that they have arrested radical Muslim in possession

of a weapon intended for assault in the nation's capital Wednesday.

After responding to what was reported as "shots fired" in the area in Washington D.C., the

agency reported in a tweet it responded to the scene and secured the area but determined

that no shots actually were fired.

"BREAKING: Secret Service statement regarding the incident at 23rd street and N street NW,

Washington D.C."Local station WJLA spoke to a witness who claimed that an individual

with a machete and a handgun went into the Interest Section of Iran, part of the Pakistan

Embassy, and wanted a passport.

The individual then reportedly used a pistol to hit a man stationed at the front desk.

The witness told the outlet that the individual was yelling in Arabic and running to an upper

floor, Fox News reported.The Secret Service confirmed that a person with a weapon was

arrested for assault, the agency said.

"Secret Service protective operations were not affected during this time," the statement

said.

"As a matter of policy we cannot comment on on-going investigations.

The Secret Service is working with our law enforcement partners to investigate the incident."

We don't need your comments.

A crazed Muslim who doesn't belong here was caught before he could commit a terror

attack.

Good job guys.

Make no mistake- there are a ton of radical Muslims here and frankly, I wish the DOJ and

all the oter agencies would tell the democrats to f off and round up all these evil Muslim

piles of sh*t and get them the hell out of my country.

D-1: Countdown to historic meeting of Pres. Moon and Kim Jong-un - Duration: 2:59.

With that said,... we're going to cut to our Hwang Ho-jun, part of the Panmunjom Pres Pool

reports at a press center set up in Goyang, where we will be learning the very latest

on the summit issues.

Hojun, with all the attention this summit is getting, the press center must be absolutely

packed by now.

Daniel, you're absolutely right.

Thousands of reporters and media personnel from Korea and abroad are here at the Main

Press Center anxiously preparing for the historic meeting between South Korean President Moon

Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

As you said, this is the first summit meeting in 11 years.

It's the third overall; the first two took place in 2000 and 2007.

Also, this will be the first time,...for a sitting North Korean leader to step onto South

Korean soil in over 60 years Around this time last year, people were talking

about Korea being on the brink of war, but now, in drastic contrast, more hopeful thoughts

are emerging of reconciliation.

So, considering the rocky path the two Koreas have gone through, it's easy to understand

the hype here at the press center.

As of 4pm today, over two-thousand-nine-hundred-and-sixty reporters, from 36 countries had registered

to cover Friday's event.

Yes, the excitement over there is apparent even watching here from the studio.

We know from your reporting that the South Korean presidential office has been doing

everything it can to make sure that the summit tomorrow goes off without a hitch.

That's right.

As a matter of fact, the summit preparatory committee carried out its last and final rehearsal

today.

It was the final check-up,... a complete walk through,... implementing necessary changes

the committee found during Tuesday's rehearsal, in which they inspected every detail,... from

the paths people will take,... all the way down to the furniture inside the building.

The Blue House spokesperson confirmed late this afternoon the final rehearsal went smoothly

and that South Korea is ready to host the North Korean leader tomorrow.

6 out of the 7 officials who will accompany President Moon tomorrow attended the final

rehearsal and ran through the entire program and inspected even the smallest detail.

And this time, there were two stand-ins for President Moon and Kim Jong-un.

Now, we have mentioned before the venue went through a complete renovation for the summit

tomorrow.

And to giet rid of the lingering new-home smell, the preparatory committee has taken

various measures such as fanning out the air and placing charcoal briquettes to absorb

the odor.

Now we can imagine the pressure President Moon might be feeling at this point.

But according to the spokesperson, although the South Korean President had been a bit

overwhelmed ahead of the historic summit,... now,... with just less than 24 hours to go

he's expressing relief.

Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update.

The long-awaited inter-Korean summit talks are just around the corner, which will be

held in Panmunjom.

The weather is expected to be comfortable, just like today.

We'll have a chilly start but it will rise to 23 degrees by the afternoon.

In fact, the whole country will be under the sun tomorrow.

However in the morning, especially in the central areas,... there are going to be times

with high levels of ultra-fine dust.

The morning low in Seoul will begin tomorrow at 9 degrees Celsius, Daegu at 12 and Gyeongju

at 11 degrees.

The daily high in Seoul will hit 22 degrees, while Gwangju and Busan reach 22 and 21 degrees.

For the meantime, the nice comfortable weather is expected to continue with rather warm afternoons

but chilly mornings and nights.

Reporters and media crews gather from around the globe to cover 2018 Inter-Korean summit - Duration: 2:55.

The main press center,.. set up at the KINTEX exhibition hall in Goyang, north of the capital

Seoul,... is where all the buzz is happening.

Countless reporters and news studios are set up,... all to deliver the unprecedented meeting

between the leaders of the two Koreas.

And our Lee Ji-won,... covered a lot of ground while in the huge venue.

She spoke to some of the reporters and news editors from various media around the world,

for their perspective on this historic event.

"With the world's spotlight this week on Friday's inter-Korean summit, hundreds of reporters

and media crews from around the globe have gathered at the official summit press center

in Goyang, northwest of Seoul."

Compared to the two previous inter-Korean summits where just over 1-thousand reporters

registered, the third historic meeting has over 28-hundred press members signed up, from

360 media companies and 41 countries.

From live connections every hour,... to stories, speculation and analysis on the summit, reporters

are busy delivering the latest on the meeting.

"Our newspaper for today filled one whole side with stories on this summit.

6 articles were posted,... including stories on the route to be taken by the two leaders,

what to expect from the summit,... and even stories on this press center."

Though reporters each have different points of view, many say the key issue to watch out

for during Friday's summit is denuclearization.

"You know were this happening at any other time, or were Kim Jong-un not going to meet

President Trump, I think the two Koreas could focus on things that have short term relevance.

But now I think what the top agenda needs to be is getting Kim Jong-un on paper, committing

to denuclearization and committing to talks on denuclearization."

And it seems North Korea's increased nuclear threat and the high tensions on the peninsula

last year grabbed more global media attention for this summit.

"I think at least at the last summit, North Korea was certainly not as big of an international

story as it is now.

They hadn't demonstrated their ability to hit the United States with their long range

missiles, now it has done all those things."

Many have also pointed out that improving inter-Korean ties is also an important issue.

"Certainly the peace and the denuclearization.

Whoever has family relations with North Koreans or vice versa, they can meet each other.

The demilitarized zone, which is considered as the most sensitive borders in the world,

should move back and people should come forward to meet each other."

And with so much at stake, the world will soon find out whether the solutions to these

issues can be agreed upon during the summit on Friday.
