And to give you a tip, comments about how thick, lucious and non-receding my hairline
is will get priority.
Focus on the non-receding part.
Speaking of great comments!
Segue.
Titus WorldSlide Everybody on the Internet ever is still making
fun of Titus O'Neil tripping and falling underneath the ring at Friday's Greatest
Royal Rumble show.
The Greatest Royal Botch was initially missed by WWE's cameras, which were foolishly focused
on in-ring action, so the production truck thankfully ran just short of 100 replays following
the slip.
Initially he's running to the ring fine, but John 'You Can't See Me' Cena appears
to trip him up, causing Titus to lose his balance, using his forward momentum to carry
almost his entire body underneath the ring.
Xavier Woods posted: "And for my next trick I'll make this @TitusONeilWWE disappear!"
While famed WCW botcher The Shockmaster passed on his rather rubbish torch:
"THE FALL IS STRONG WITH MY YOUNG PADDIWON COME TO THE DARK SIDE"
Titus himself, however - forever a man looking for brand expansion opportunities - has dollar
signs in his eyes: "It was AT THIS MOMENT....💡💡💡 My
@WWE #WWEGGR Idea For The Greatest Royal Rumble Moment was Born 💡 @WWEShop Get That MERCH
ready!!!
I'm about to slide....These extra Checks right into the bank😎"
Titus, the point in wrestling is to get over, not trip over!
Speaking of backstage moral uncertainty over the Greatest Royal Rumble event.
Segue save!
WWE Stars Unhappy Backstage With GRR PWInsider are reporting several WWE stars
were uncomfortable about putting on the show in Saudi Arabia.
WWE has received a lot of criticism for putting on the Greatest Royal Rumble event in a country
where equal rights for women and members of the LGBT society are far behind Western society's.
No women were allowed to wrestle on the show because of cultural sensitivities, and didn't
even appear in backstage interview capacities - with Byron Saxton replacing Renee Young
as the pre-show panel host - and Sami Zayn was reportedly pulled because he is of Syrian
descent.
See the other WrestleTalk News episode today for more details.
To make the situation more distasteful, the show was often presented like a travel advert,
with the commentators describing Jeddah as "A progressive resort city".
WWE weren't just being hypocritical in putting on the show in spite of their women's equality
PR, they were actively promoting the country as a holiday destination.
Mike Johnson has revealed some backstage also share those concerns:
"I spoke with some talents/behind the scenes folks that were not happy about going there
to perform.
Everyone I have talked to feels the same way that you and I do about the oppression that
happens in the Saudi Kingdom.
They are against it but also understand part of the job is going wherever the company puts
on shows, and that was the case here."
