Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed there is a feeling of resignation at Arsenal.

Arsenal were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City for the second time in a week last night.

Aubameyang missed a penalty last night in the second half with Arsenal already three

down.

Arsenal are now 10 points behind fourth-place Tottenham and have almost no chance of making

next season's Champions League unless they win the Europa League.

And Aubameyang admits there is an air of resignation round the club.

"There is a lot of disappointment.

We are not happy with our displays either tonight or Sunday," he told French TV station

SFR.

"We could not score that goal that could have pushed us on.

City play very well too.

The way they play, they are one of the best teams in the world.

"Obviously it is not easy when you cannot score a goal to give us extra energy.

There are maybe some players who are a bit resigned."

Arsenal are under fire after a humiliating week with the Carabao Cup final defeat and

then last night's match.

Arsene Wenger's job is under threat and Thierry Henry has emerged as a candidate to

take over.

The Arsenal hero is just 6/1 with Betfair and admitted last week he'd be keen to take

over.

And Aubameyang admits the Europa League is their only chance of making the Champions

League for next season.

"I think obviously the Europa League is a good option to qualify for the Champions

League.

Now the route is not easy – 10 points from fourth place," Aubameyang said.

"It is going to be very hard but he will fight till the end.

The championship is not finished – this is the Premier League, anything can happen."
