Waching daily Mar 30 2018

Hello people, welcome to another video!

I'm André Fernandes and today we're gonna bring you

a amazing product that has just arrived this week.

It's good that you handle it with care.

The box isn't pretty but inside it's nice.

I'll open it so you can see it is beautiful.

Loupedeck! It's a company from Finland,

and they sent us a editing console for Lightroom.

Check out in the video. Hope you like it.

So let's do a quick unbox. First of all,

it arrived really fast, we talked to them about 5 days ago,

and it's already here. Came through FedEx.

We've been taxed in R$200, but it arrived really fast.

At the end of the video we'll be announcing a discount for you,

at least in a 30 day period after this video.

The pack is beautiful, textured, they take good care of the details.

It's so beautiful. The box has a nice lining.

Let me take it out of the box.

We have the console with the USB cable.

Inside here we have a card with the link to the drivers,

both Mac and Windows, and a instructions manual.

Let's show the console, first just to show you the details.

We have undo and redo buttons, brush option.

Here to switch between star rate and color rate.

Copy and paste, a FN button,

so you can have a second function with some of the buttons.

Pick and zoom buttons. A C1 for you to customize,

as well as a C2 and C3.

A crop dial, full screen and black and white or color toggles.

Chose between hue, saturation and luminance, and scrolls for all the colors.

Eight presets buttons for you to choose.

Before and after button, and knobs for the white balance,

tint, vibrance, saturation, highlights, shadows, exposure,

contrast clarity, black, whites and the arrows.

A really great and fast shortcut,

but it doesn't mean you don't need the mouse anymore.

You'll still have to use the mouse, if for instance,

you open a Finder window, because it doesn't have a ALT + TAB function.

It helps you to really focus on the edit with the knobs.

A localized adjust you can activate the brush,

and with the mouse do what you need.

But the majority of the adjustments are right

in your face to speed up your workflow.

It isn't for a localized treatment.

Configuring...

Here we are with the Loupedeck console,

and let me show how the installation is simple.

Just go the the Loupedeck site,

download the Mac or Windows driver

and follow the on screen steps, easy as that.

Let me open the app here to show you some configurations.

We have the customizable buttons, from P1 to P8, C1, C2 and C3.

All the others are the standard Lightroom sliders.

In the C1 we can select from all that options here.

In the C2 we have a bunch of other options.

C3 as well, we have a list of what we can use.

From P1 to P8 we have the presets. One thing that I missed is a Reset button.

We have Redo, Undo, but we don't have a Reset.

At least I haven't found it yet. I will reset a photo and save a preset,

and this preset I'll put in any of the P buttons.

I'll reset the photo, create a preset with all the checkboxes marked, and name it RESET.

Now that I've saved the preset I will choose a photo,

go to the Develop module by pressing the C2, which is a default shortcut.

I'll change the temperature and the response is really fast,

I'll change the shadows, blacks, highlights and clarity.

I wanna change the reds, I'll just tap the Hue and use the scroll.

To change the saturation, just tap here and the scroll now controls the saturation slider.

Luminance the same thing, just tap and use the scroll.

Let's screw up the photo with clarity, contrast, vibrance, exposure.

Remember the Reset that we've put in the P1? I press the P1 and it doesn't work.

Why? Because I haven't set it up.

Configure, in the P1 let's choose the preset RESET we've made before.

Now when I press the P1 the photo is reseted.

It's a Reset work around that we have.

Crop is just turn the dial and it applies instantly.

If you wanna make it vertical or some other format

you can use a custom button or use the mouse.

So I rotate the photo, here it goes in and out the crop mode.

The white balance is super cool, I want to make it warmer,

but I've overdone, just press once and it's back to the original value.

About the rating we can choose color,

and the Lightroom shows in the screen what rating system is being used.

I don't like it? Undo and change to star and I'm set.

Two stars, three stars, four stars, five stars.

I'm looking at the console because I'm not used to it just yet,

but within a few hours you'll be used to it.

A little bit of highlights, a little bit of saturation and clarity.

Let's say that I've liked this treatment,

hit Copy, go to the next photo, hit Paste and that's it.

Fast and easy. With some practice it'll same a lot of time.

Here in the config settings we have the FN

that adds a second function to this buttons here,

the C the P and the Export buttons.

For instance, with the FN pressed,

by default all the P buttons are black and white presets,

in all of its variations.

Another thing that amazed me is the Export configuration.

I normally use the JPG ALTA.

And with the FN I'll put this one with the watermark for social networks.

If I wanna export in high quality just click once and it's done.

And if I want the watermark version,

just press the FN and Export together and that's it.

And I think I've saved over the photo.

I think it's really practical, I liked it because it is very intuitive.

The knobs are not for local adjustments but for a fast workflow.

Thanks Loupedeck for sending us this console,

we've really enjoyed it. It'll be great for speed things up here.

When it comes to a more detailed pro, maybe it will stay aside,

but mostly for weddings and photo shoots that need a fast workflow,

for that first pass on the photos to then go to Photoshop, it is really welcome.

And the folks at Loupedeck have a promo for you guys.

That's right, they sent us this beauty and a promo code!

All the info is in the video description, link and everything.

I believe this will last about 30 days

after the release of this video.

So if you're watching this in the month

that we uploaded the video, go to the Loupedeck site,

they have free shipping worldwide!

You'll probably pay some tax when it arrives, but it totally worth it.

Thank you for watching, hope you've liked.

SPECIAL : Chocolats de Pâques / Easter chocolates - Duration: 13:05.

Hi everybody.

In this special episode for Easter,

we go to meet Ana-Giulia's grandfather,

who is a pastry chef, a retired chocolatier

for a workshop on chocolate.

If you want to make chocolate casts,

you will need couverture chocolate

that you can buy from bakery suppliers

like Metro or Rouby for example.

The chocolate in tablet of supermarket

does not allow the molding.

At first,

the grandfather of Ana-Giulia will give us a demonstration

to explain how to handle the chocolate

to make your molding.

Then,

a very simple chocolate frog model

to make at home for the Easter holidays

will be explained in detail.

Melt the chocolate in the oven at 50°

then take out and let cool at 27°.

Put your chocolate again in the oven

to reach a temperature of 31 - 32 ° for dark chocolate.

Clean your molds with a clean cotton cloth.

Once the chocolate is melted,

brush the molds with a chocolate brush for a first coat.

Let it dry for half an hour

in a dry and cool place.

For a second layer,

directly pour the chocolate into the mold.

Drain the chocolate mold.

Scrape the edge of the mold

to make sharp edges.

Let dry

in dry and cool place.

Unmould the 2 parts of your molds.

Make a chocolate cone.

Go around the half of the molding with the chocolate,

then come to ask the other part to assemble them.

Fill in the gaps with the chocolate cone.

Let it dry.

Make your decoration according to your imagination.

The demonstration is done with a magifleur

which is a professional equipment.

At home,

you can make for example almond paste flowers

that you stick on the egg.

I'll do a tutorial on almond paste topics

in an upcoming episode.

Spread the chocolate on parchment paper.

Let it dry,

the chocolate should thicken a bit.

Cut the feet of the frogs with the cookie cutter

before the chocolate is completely dry.

Let the frog's feet dry completely

and then unmold.

Glue the egg halves together

to form the bodies.

Stick the bodies on the feet

and chock them

so that they don't slip.

Make almond paste balls for the eyes.

Stick the eyes on the bodies

with the chocolate.

Make the whites of the eyes

with a white chocolate cone.

Make the legs and mouth

almond paste.

With a match,

make the tip of the eye with dark chocolate.

I hope you enjoyed this episode about chocolate.

If you have any questions,

don't hesitate to send them by mail

to the address below the video.

and don't forget to subscribe to the channel if you have not already done so.

For those who have made achievements for Easter,

it would be nice if you shared your photos

on the Facebook page of Ana-Giulia's workshops.

I wish you happy holiday with your family.

See you soon.
