BREAKING News From DC!

HE'S STEPPING DOWN!

HELL YEAH!!

DRAIN THE SWAMP!!

Huge news just crashed through Washington!

This was not expected! Trump and the hardworking taxpaying citizens of America put so much

pressure on the FBI, and now one of them is stepping down.

This comes just before President Trump's State of the Union in which he may set the

world on fire and read the memo that everyone in the FBI might be hiding from.

With that being a massive possibility that will shake up the frontier of American politics

and the FBI internal workings, we now see the FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe leaving

his job.

He's out.

He's stepping down.

He's done!!!

It's reported that McCabe has stepped down from his position and will stay on the FBI

payroll until spring 2018.

Some might consider this his retirement, but others might see this as him leaving a messy

situation before it spirals out of control and the entire FBI explodes into a disaster

that could be the most significant swamp drains in history.

McCabe either seriously wants to retire, or he's leaving before he gets kicked out.

This is insane, and it's most likely due to the pressure from President Trump and social

media hashtags such as #ReleaseTheMemo.

McCabe has been in the FBI since at least 1996 and worked under Robert Mueller and James

Comey.

If that doesn't ring a bell of buttery drama, than what does?

Were the three of them the triple tag team that worked so hard to keep Hillary safe and

Trump under the pressure of Russian allegations?

Comey hit the road when he could.

He was smart.

He got out before it blew up in his face.

Mueller is still lagging around like an old turtle.

McCabe just hit the road and will casually travel himself into retirement just before

a possible huge scandal breaks out like the second coming of Watergate.

NBC News reported more on McCabe's decision:

"McCabe has been at the center of ongoing tensions between the White House and the FBI

and has reportedly been under pressure to quit from President Donald Trump, whose campaign

is being investigated for possible collusion with Russia.

Trump, the officials told The Post, also vented his anger at McCabe over hundreds of thousand

dollars in donations that his wife, a Democrat, received for her failed 2015 Virginia state

Senate bid from a political action committee controlled by a close friend of Hillary Clinton.

In recent weeks Trump has taken aim at McCabe, whose office first arranged the FBI's interview

with then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

Flynn was fired after just 24 days on the job and pleaded guilty last month to lying

to the FBI and is cooperating with the Russia investigation.

Last week, White House spokesman Raj Shah fanned reports of pressure from the White

House to fire McCabe by saying in a statement that Trump "believes politically motivated

senior leaders" of the FBI "have tainted the agency's reputation for unbiased pursuit

of justice" and that the new director he "appointed" will "clean up the misconduct

at the highest levels of the FBI."

That's funny!

McCabe's Democrat wife received thousands of dollars in donations for her failed Senate

run?

Where did that money come from?

It came from a political action committee (PAC) connected to Hillary Clinton.

How interesting is that?

It seems like if you're friends with Hillary Clinton, or friends with her friends, then

somehow you get lucky enough to see money appear like a magic genie showed up in a lamp

and started tossing dollars at everyone.

Or, it's more like what Democratic socialist Bernie Sanders would do – take taxpayer

money and give it to everyone else.

Was McCabe's wife receiving taxpayer money?

President Trump is known to lash out at McCabe on Twitter too.

Trump loves making his problems with other people public and so eloquently blasts his

opponents on Twitter.

President Trump said of McCabe:

"How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin' James

Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails)

be given $700,000 for wife's campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?" Trump

tweeted on Dec. 23.

"FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is racing the clock to retire with full benefits.

90 days to go?!!!"

Is McCabe exercising his retirement option because he's just interested in retiring?

Or is he doing this because he knows that something in the memo could get him fired

and he loses his retirement benefits?

What's the truth about his stepping down from that job?

He's the head of the FBI, so surely he can take some pressure, but there must be some

juicy information that possibly incriminates him or links him to others who've committed

a crime or found themselves wrapped up in scandalous behavior.

Does McCabe want to quit before he gets fired?

What's in the memo?

How Is Joe Kennedy Related to John F. Kennedy? [PHOTOS] || SML News - Duration: 5:38.

How Is Joe Kennedy Related to John F. Kennedy? [PHOTOS]

Joe Kennedy III.

Despite his famous lineage, Joseph "Joe" Kennedy III has stayed pretty much out of the spotlight until recently.

He is a House representative for Massachusetts serving his third term, but he definitely hasn't gathered the national attention of his other more well-known relatives.

But that all began to change when he introduced Sen.

Elizabeth Warren at the Democratic National Convention.

Kennedy, 37, has been speaking out more publicly ever since, putting Republicans on notice when he disagreed with their assertions.

And now he's representing the Democrats by giving the State of the Union response to President Donald Trump's speech.

But exactly how is Joe Kennedy related to the famous President John F.

Kennedy? He's a closer relation than you might think.

Joe Kennedy III is the grandson of Robert F.

"Bobby" Kennedy.

Bobby was assassinated in June 1968 while he was a U.S.

Senator from New York and a leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for President.

He had 11 children, including Joe Kennedy II, Joe's dad.

Joe is the grand-nephew of President John F.

Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963. Some people can't help but compare Joe Kennedy III to JFK.

And honestly, you can't help but notice the resemblance in this particular Facebook post:.

Joe is the son of former Congressmen Joseph Kennedy II, married to Sheila Rauch.

Joe has a twin brother, Matt, who worked in Obama's administration.

Joseph Kennedy II left Congress in 1999.

People are expecting great things of Kennedy because of his lineage.

One person wrote on Facebook: "A Kennedy stands up to Trump, our best against our worst.

Karma is coming!".

   .

Here is one of Joe Kennedy's speeches.

What do you think?.

Joe Kennedy has been a Representative in Congress since 2012.

He replaced Barney Frank, who had retired, leaving an open seat.

Joe raised more than $4 million in 2012 and won with 61 percent of the vote in November 2012.

Joe ran unopposed in 2014 in both the primary and the general election.

In 2016, he was unopposed in the primary and defeated Republican David Rosa by more than 40 percentage points.

He was mentioned as a possibility for Massachusetts governor in 2018, but declined and said he had no plans to run for another office.

Kennedy is married to Lauren Anne Birchfield and they have two children: Eleanor born in 2015 and James born in 2017.

Do you see the resemblance between Joe and JFK?.

WWE News - What Dana White Thinks Of Ronda Rousey In UFC - Duration: 3:23.

WWE News - What Dana White Thinks Of Ronda Rousey In UFC

Three years ago, the idea of Ronda Rousey leaving the UFC for the WWE in the near future only seemed like a pipe dream. Yes, she appeared at WrestleMania 31 and has been a life-long wrestling fan.

But Rousey was the face of UFC, and was living on Cloud Nine in the octagon.

But Rousey lost her final two UFC matches – to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, respectively. Her legacy and reputation in MMA took quite a hit, and UFC president Dana White admitted that Rousey's career was likely over.

Next thing we know, Rousey signs a full-time contract with the WWE and appears at the 2018 Royal Rumble. Things change so quickly.

Though losing Rousey is obviously a brutal blow for White and the UFC – particularly when she crosses over to the squared circle – White had nothing but good things to say about her decision.

"I'm very happy for her. She loves pro wrestling and has always been a big fan so I know how much his means to her.

She keeps accomplishing everything she's ever wanted," he told The Review-Journal.After her WWE debut, Rousey did an interview with ESPN and said White was still one of her best friends, and that he was "supportive" of her career change.

Rousey also wouldn't rule out a return to UFC.

Rousey won her first 12 professional MMA fights, with the first eight via submission from the armbar. Rousey won her first six matches in UFC, but was upset by Holm at UFC 193 – and lost the Women's Bantamweight Championship.

Her last match was at UFC 207, where she lost to Amanda Nunes. But the WWE promises to be a great home for Rousey, who's been a fan of the industry her whole life.

She's one of the most marketable and admired athletes out there, and should experience nothing but success in the WWE.

Researchers teach orca to TALK through her blowhole | news 24h - Duration: 18:36.

Listen to the world's first TALKING killer whale: Researchers teach orca Wikie to say 'hello' and 'bye bye' by squawking through her blowhole

A killer whale has been taught to speak human words through her blowhole.

Wikie, a 16-year-old female orca living in a French marine theme park, is able to copy words such as hello, bye bye and Amy, as well as count to three.

The sounds emerge as parrot-like squawks, shrill whistles or raspberries, but most are easily understandable as words. The killer whale was able to mimic the duration and pitch of human speech, coming close on three words to a high-quality match.

Scroll down to hear Wikie talk . Wikie (left)  a 16-year-old female orca in a French marine theme park, is able to copy words such as hello, bye bye and Amy, as well as count to three.

The sounds emerge as parrot-like squawks, shrill whistles or raspberries, but most are easily understandable as words.

Although the researchers did not set out to test Wikies communication skills, the scientist who led the study believes basic conversations with her may one day be possible.

Dr Jose Abramson, from Complutense de Madrid University in Spain, said: Yes, its conceivable. if you have labels, descriptions of what things are. .

It has been done before with a famous grey parrot and dolphins using American sign language - sentences like bring me this object or put this object above or below the other.

The discovery, published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B, puts killer whales on a footing with humans.

While birds find it easy to mimic others, the skill is exceedingly rare in mammals, and no primates apart from people are able to do it.

The first sign that orcas can copy other animals came in studies which captured them barking like sea lions and making high-pitched whistles like dolphins. However Wikie is believed to be the first member of her species to mimic human speech.

HOW WAS WIKIE THE KILLER WHALE TAUGHT TO SPEAK AND WHAT WORDS CAN SHE SAY? A killer whale has been taught to speak human words through her blowhole.

Wikie, a 16-year-old female orca living in a French marine theme park, is able to copy words such as hello, bye bye and Amy, as well as count to three.     Researchers tested multiple sounds in three situations.

In one the whale was instructed to produce a sound to copy using gestures. In another the sound was played through a loudspeaker and in the third a human produced the desired sound.

Each time the killer whale was able to accurately reproduce sounds. Five sounds where orca noises that Wikie had not heard before.

They were described by researchers as breathy raspberry, strong raspberry, elephant, wolf and creaking door. Three sounds were already familiar to Wikie - described by researchers as song, blow and birdy.

She was also exposed to six human sounds - hello, Amy, ah ha, one, two one, two, three and bye bye.

In each trial, the killer whale was given a do that hand signal by a researcher, but offered no food reward. The recordings were rated by Wikies trainer and the researcher, as well as six independent observers.

Speech recognition software was also used to test how well she performed, which showed three words came close to the high-quality match achieved by humans copying each other.

The recordings were rated by Wikies trainer and the researcher, as well as six independent observers. Pictured is Wikie with her calf Wikie was able to copy all the sounds she was presented with.

It is conceivable that our data represent a conservative estimate of the killer whales capacity for vocal imitation.  The sounds emerge from her blowhole as parrot-like squawks, shrill whistles or raspberries, but most are easily understandable as words.

She spoke while partially immersed in water with her blowhole exposed to the air.

HOW DO WHALES COMMUNICATE AND COULD THEY ONE DAY TALK TO HUMANS? How do whales communicate?   Whales are known for using complex clicks and singing to communicate with each other - even if they are hundreds of miles apart.

Whales that are closely related or live together produce similar pulsed calls that carry vocal characteristics distinct to the group, known as a dialect.  Clicks are believed to be primarily used for navigation and identifying objects such as prey in the environment but they are also used for social interactions.

Members of a pod have similar calls known as a dialect, which is composed of types of discrete, repetitive calls. Newborns copy the call of their mother.

Its thought that individuals learn their dialect though contact with their mothers and other pod members.

Norwegian and Icelandic herring-eating orcas are believed to have different vocalisations for activities such as hunting and travelling.  Could they talk to humans?  Previously researchers thought mimicking human speech was limited to some primates, birds, elephants, dolphins and seals.

The fact the whale produces these sounds shows they are able to learn sounds by copying and helps us understand their lives in the wild.  However, when Wikie says hello it means absolutely nothing to her.  She does not attach any meaning to this sound and is not talking to humans.

The word is completely out of the normal sound repertoire of whales and was chosen as a nonsense sound. When Wikie says hello it means absolutely nothing to her.

She does not attach any meaning to this sound and is not talking to humans Although the researchers did not set out to test Wikies communication skills, the scientist who led the study believes basic conversations with her may one day be possible.

Dr Jose Abramson, from Complutense de Madrid University in Spain, said: Yes, its conceivable.

if you have labels, descriptions of what things are.  It has been done before with a famous grey parrot and dolphins using American sign language - sentences like bring me this object or put this object above or below the other.    The experiment proves there is a lot of complex communication happening among whales and dolphins.   .

The orca, which had taken part in previous behavioural studies, was taught to copy novel sounds and words from both another killer whale, her own three-year-old calf, Moana, and by humans.

The human sounds she copied included a laugh and the words hello, bye bye, Amy and one two three. She spoke while partially immersed in water with her blowhole exposed to the air.

In sum, Wikie made recognisable copies of the demonstrated sound judged in real time by two observers, Wikies trainer and one experimenter, later confirmed by both after listening to the recordings, researchers wrote in the paper published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B.

The subjects matching accuracy is all the more remarkable as she was able to accomplish it in response to sounds presented in-air and not in-water, the species usual medium for acoustic communication.

It is conceivable that our data represent a conservative estimate of the killer whales capacity for vocal imitation.

The human sounds she copied included a laugh and the words hello, bye bye, Amy and one two three. She spoke while partially immersed in water with her blowhole exposed to the air.

In each trial, the killer whale (pictured) was given a do that hand signal by a researcher, but offered no food reward. The recordings were rated by Wikies trainer and the researcher, as well as six independent observers.

WIKIE THE KILLER WHALE HAS BBC BREAKFAST PRESENTERS IN HYSTERICS BBC Breakfast presenters Dan Walker and Louise Minchin were left in fits of giggles on Wednesday as they listened to a whale being taught to mimic human speech.

The hosts laughed with each other on this mornings programme as they heard how Wikie, a 16-year-old female orca, has learned to count to three.

There was much amusement at the sounds of the numbers, which emerge through her blowhole as parrot-like squawks, shrill whistles or raspberries.

Wikie is also said to have learnt how to say English words such as hello and bye bye and Amy – her trainers name.

The study states: Although the subject did not make perfect copies of all novel conspecific and human sounds, they were recognisable copies as assessed by both external independent blind observers and the acoustic analysis.

In fact, Wikie found some of the unfamiliar whale noises more difficult than human words, according to Dr Abramson. The killer whale was able to mimic the duration and pitch of human speech, coming close on three words to a high-quality match.

Members of a pod have similar calls known as a dialect, which is composed of types of discrete, repetitive calls. Newborns copy the call of their mother. He said: You have to be careful about imposing our human concepts on animals.

We will gain more if we try to understand the natural way each species communicates in its own environment than if we try to teach a human language..

However experts believe whales ability to use unique vocal dialects demonstrate a high level of social intelligence.

Dr Abramson said: In human intelligence, cultural and social learning aspects are very important. We can say that killer whales and other cetaceans have a highly developed social intelligence..

While scientists once saw tool use as a uniquely human hallmark of intelligence in animals, expert focus has now shifted shifted to social mental ability.

Although vocal learning underpins everything humans do, even our closest primate relatives - chimps - are unable to do it. This suggests something crucial happened in human evolution when we separated from other apes around five million years ago.

The scientist added: Machiavellian behaviour, making friends, belonging to groups, manipulating others and competing - you dont need hands for that. The words Wikie is saying are completely out of the normal sound repertoire of whales.

While humans use their larynx to speak, whales make noise pushing bursts of air through their nasal passage, which makes Wikies achievement all the more impressive.

It is somewhat ironic that this study, performed on captive animals, adds to a growing picture of the importance of cultural inheritance in their lives and to the case that these animals should never be kept captive, said Dr Luke Rendell, a biologist from the University of St Andrews, writing in The Conversation.

It is impossible for the whales in captivity to develop and express their cultures in anything like the richness we see in the wild.

Claire Bass, Humane Society International/UK Director said: Wikie, the Orca who has the ability to imitate human speech, is as tragic as she is fascinating.

She is certainly further proof that these are highly intelligent mammals whose captivity in marine parks in the twenty-first century should come to an end.

She is also a painful reminder that in the wild where these awesome animals swim free, they communicate with each other using complex language and even group-specific dialects, natural communication that is utterly denied them in captivity.

An Exclusive Interview With Controversial 'K-Poppers' EXP Edition(News) - Duration: 14:25.

An Exclusive Interview With Controversial 'K-Poppers' EXP Edition

An Exclusive Interview With Controversial K-Poppers EXP Edition.   If youve had a keen eye for K-Pop over the last year, youve probably heard of the group EXP Edition.

Theyre a group that consists entirely of non-Korean members, and that fact alone has been enough to draw the publics attention and even ruffle some feathers.

They follow a unique path in the K-Pop world, one previously uncovered by other acts. Will this unique group be able to rise to the top? Heres how they see it, in their own words.

AKP: What is the long-term goal for EXP Edition?   Hunter: Our long term goal is to become a touring and fully functioning pop group, and to meet our fans all around the world.

A lot of our fans tell us that after seeing us, they too got the courage to pursue their dreams, and it would be amazing to meet them in person.

Frankie: Its been amazing to see BTS and CL make their crossovers into America, and seeing that fluid crossover for Kpop as a genre.

Our long term goal would be to also make our crossover while continuing to make music and to tour the world sharing our music and our story.

AKP: That makes sense, and its definitely been exciting to watch more acts crossover like that.

On that note, does EXP Edition ever plan on taking advantage of their background to promote in Western countries?   Sime: In recent years, Kpop has become a global music genre.

There are kpop fans literally all over the world and it is only a testament to the fact that music indeed has no barriers. We would love to travel the world and share our story and music with people everywhere.

We will see what the future has in store for us, we are very grateful for every opportunity we get.

Hunter: We are concentrating on Korea for now, but wed love to promote where were all from, whether it be NY, Texas, Japan, Croatia or Portugal.

Koki: Isnt every artists goal to be able to spread their music worldwide and promote anywhere possible? Race isnt a relevant determining factor for wanting to promote your music.

AKP: what was the audition process like? Did anyone know each other in advance?   Frankie: The audition process was pretty normal in regards to others, once Isubmitted to the casting online I was notified that the team wanted meto audition in person.

When I auditioned in person I had to sing inseveral different languages, freestyle dance, I had to act as if I wasat a press conference with many different personas.

I think theyreally wanted to see how open minded we were as artists and really geta taste of our personality because after all the documentary hasplayed a huge part of our story.

Koki: My audition was a bit different since I joined a couple months after the group started. So the guys actually watched and graded me.

I did ballet for the dance portion of my audition and thats what probably WOWED the guys to keep me on.

AKP: How do EXP Edition songs and videos come about creatively?   Hunter: We work very closely with our music producer, Ben Hostetler, who comes up with an idea (usually an instrumental or chorus), and after we all hear it, we collectively decide whether to flesh out the idea or not.

That includes all of us writing parts and then presenting them. The ones that fit the mood of the song or are the catchiest make the cut, and then we work with our CEO Bora Kim, who translates the lyrics.

Frankie: Ben is constantly making new beats and developing concepts.

Whatever beats we really like, we talk about the type of feeling it gives us and then we all write to it and come up with different melodic lines. Then we get in the studio and try them out and narrow it down to what we like the most.

Once the lyrics are set we work with Bora Kim to have it translated into Korean and make sure that it still works and fits the vibe that we originally wanted.

Then we hit the studio for the actual recording sessions and Ben makes it all come to life! AKP: Which other K-pop groups or performers inspire the group?   Hunter: Sooo many. I really admire BTS.

Their stage presence and overall show is so dope, and as performers, they have it all. I also really respect their hustle in the industry and their crossover into the states.

Its been amazing to see how much theyve accomplished. Koki: We all come from different music backgrounds, so our inspirations vary greatly.

In Kpop there are so many talented artists, so its difficult to choose only a few, but some of our original sources of inspiration came from Big Bang, BTS, SHINee, Zico, Zion.T, etc.

Frankie: Since the beginning BTS and Big Bang have been very influential for us. Theyre the kings of Kpop for us and were the first two kpop groups we were lucky enough to see LIVE.

Now that weve been in Korea for some time our love has grown for Hyukoh Band and Zion.T. Ive always loved Ailee and CL as well.

I personally love artists with unique voices, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and I LOVEEE Alessia Cara.

An artist that can sing really well and put on a great show with a special energy that makes it unforgettable is something that we always strive to be.

AKP: How do you gauge the success of a group trying something new like this? Koki: At the end of the day, if we can sustain ourselves enough to be able to continue making music and promoting, thats the first goal.

Honestly though, seeing comments from people who use us as inspiration to pursue their own dreams is a success in its own right.

Frankie: In some ways, I feel like weve already been successful in the sense that certain accomplishments we only dreamed of happening, have actually happened.

Of course, success also means that people are buying our albums and tickets to our shows, otherwise theres only so far we can go. So far this album release has surprised us with some wonderful successes.

Well see what the future continues to have in store for us. Hunter: Its really hard to gauge the success of something new in entertainment.

But at the same time, a lot of people who make it in this field are told at the beginning that they will never get to the top or that theyre crazy for even trying.

Theres a first for everything, and none of us assumed it would be easy.

Of course we knew entertainment is a tough industry but just the fact that weve been able to work and meet some of the top and most talented people here is something we never could have imagined.

We are all willing to work hard to continue and we hope that shows above everything else. AKP: How has EXP Edition dealt with adversity, practically speaking? Havechanges been made since the early days? If so, what kind and why.

Frankie: At first when EXP Edition debuted I dont think we expected such an overwhelming backlash. Every time we get a negative response we take into account what it is that people are collectively feeling and we really try to improve those things.

After our first music video not having any choreography in it we insisted that this next video showcase our choreography.

Also our goal has not been to fit in were by all means very different and its something we continue to embrace, but in many other ways we had to step it up.

Creating a song that was more Kpop but still had EXP Edition flare to it was key.

Improving our Korean and pronunciation, which is something that has come with a lot effort but also just living in Korea for a longer amount of time.

I love STRESS because its really us, we wrote it, we could relate to the concept .as you might imagine, and it has a darker edgy vibe to it.

Also were a Kpop group, were not typical idols and we dont expect fans to see us as that.

The truth is we didnt grow up in Korea training under these big companies for years and years just waiting for the chance to debut.

But what we have done is trained at many other institutions and schools for our whole lives, in our own ways, each bringing different strengths to the table.

Koki: Were all human, so were not immune to the effects of rejection/backlash. We know were not perfect, but I think our fans see our drive to get better.

AKP: What type of impact do the members of EXP Edition want to leave on the world? Sime: We want to inspire people to chase their dreams no matter how unattainable or strange they may seem.

If you have passion and persistence to work hard anything is possible.

I often receive messages from Kpop fans all over the world saying how its their dream to become a kpop singer but they thought it was impossible because of their race or nationality.

Seeing EXP Edition break these barriers gives them hope and inspires them to work harder to fulfill their dreams.

Kpop is a global phenomenon and as a global music genre it is only natural that more people want to be a part of it.

Knowing that I have inspired a few individuals to go after their dreams makes it all worth it.  As a performer, thats exactly what I strive to do; to inspire and move people.

Hunter: We want to instill in people that you shouldnt let people bring you down and try your best to add kindness and love to the world. Surround yourself with positive people, and try to be happy.

Doing this all the time is a constant effort, that of course, we also struggle with. Its easy to give in to the negativity everywhere, but if you work at it, you can overcome anything (corny, I know, but true!).

Koki: Spread love and unapologetically be yourself.

Frankie: We want to be an example to others who have always wanted to do something but have been to afraid of what others might think, or felt like they couldnt for whatever reasons are constantly put out there.

Challenge the minds of people who think so inside the box.

If you love it do it! We dreamed of doing many of the things we have accomplished in our journey and solely because we believed and didnt let any of the hate bring us down.

Most importantly we want to shed that positivity and love that is missing in the world today.

I want us to be that group that people can look back on and say Damn they did that and no matter how hard it got they pushed through and now look.

There will always be haters no matter what, the question is will you do whats in your heart or whats in the heart of others.

The groups commitment and sincerity are infectious, and it may make you view them in a new light.

It was refreshing to hear a group address criticisms head-on but in a level-headed manner, and if for nothing else, EXP Edition should be admired for their self-belief.

What do you think about the group now that theyve had the chance to speak? Let us know in the comments below or on social media!.

Manchester scaffolder faces jail for breaching safety law | news 24h - Duration: 4:24.

Scaffolder faces jail after he was snapped working 60 feet up the side of a building wearing a harness that wasn't hooked to anything

Pictured: Terrance Murray, 27, leaving Manchester Magistrates Court yesterday . A scaffolder could be jailed after he was photographed working at 60 feet wearing a harness that wasnt secured to anything.

Terrance Murray, 27, was erecting scaffolding at the side of a six storey building when he was unknowingly snapped by a retired health and safety inspector.

Now the daredevil is facing up to six months in prison after he admitted breaching the Health and Safety at Work Act.

His stunt happened as he was constructing scaffolding at the rear of the Grade II-listed Sunlight House in Manchester, on June 30 last year as part of work to renovate the windows.

The photo shows him looking directly into the offices of the Crown Prosecution Service, which occupies some of the building. His apprentice can be seen working further down the scaffolding.

Murray, an experienced scaffolder, can be seen standing on planks without having first erected a rail to stop him toppling over the side, as required. In the photograph, he is wearing a harness but it isnt connected to the scaffolding.

Dangerous: Murray, pictured top, was unknowingly photographed by a retired health and safety inspector when he was working on scaffolding without wearing a secured harness .

When he appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court yesterday, he admitted a single breach of health and safety law under his full name Terrance Tyson Murray.

Murray, of Blackburn, pleaded guilty to failing to take reasonable care for either himself or others who may have been affected by his acts and omissions while at work. In court: Murray admitted breaching the Health and Safety at Work Act.

District Judge Mark Hadfield adjourned the case when Murray, who was not represented by a lawyer, admitted he hadnt realised he could be sent to prison for the offence.

When Judge Hadfield suggested he get himself a lawyer, Murray said: What if I cant afford it?. The judge replied: Thats a matter for you. If I were you, Id get legal representation..

The case was adjourned until February 20 to allow Murray to consider getting a lawyer.

After the hearing, HM inspector of health and safety Matt Greenly said: The potential for his actions was the death of a young man. This is a situation which could easily have been avoided. He had all the right equipment.

He chose for some unknown reason to take his life in his own hands that day.

WATCH: Bernie Sanders' State of the Union Response [Full Video]

Tonight Bernie Sanders gave his own response to President Donald Trump's State of the Union speech, just after Trump's speech finished.

Sanders wasn't the official Democrat response — that honor went to Rep.

Joe Kennedy III.

But Sanders' response still drew a lot of excitement and interest.

His response wasn't broadcast on television.

Rather, he broadcast his speech live on social media.

You can watch the response in full in the video above.

Last year, Bernie gave a 14-minute long response in a video that he posted to Facebook that ended up with more than 8 million views on Facebook alone.

This year's speech was equally inspiring, as he called out Trump for promises from his campaign that weren't kept, and called on the American people to keep fighting for the working class and people in need.

Why didn't Sanders give the official Democratic response? It's likely because he's now an Independent again in Vermont.

Kennedy and Sanders agree on some policies, but differ on some key political points, including cannabis.

Kennedy is against marijuana legalization. Marijuana Moment reported that in 2015, JK3 (as he's sometimes called) was one of 10 House Democrats to vote against a measure that would protect medical cannabis patients and providers from being prosecuted by the federal government.

Meanwhile, Kennedy and Sanders both support the Affordable Care Act, but Kennedy isn't quite as sure about single-payer.

He says he supports single-payer in theory, but wasn't sure about certain details in Coyners' recent bill.

Kennedy was also a big supporter of Hillary Clinton. Sanders ended up campaigning for Clinton and attending some rallies in support of her after he ended his campaign.

Elizabeth Guzman, a member of the Virginia state legislature, delivered a Spanish-language response, officially sponsored by the Democrats.

Rep.

Maxine Waters from California gave a response during a BET news special.

And Donna F.

Edwards, a former Maryland Congresswoman, gave an address for the Working Families Party.

What did you think of Bernie's speech? Let us know in the comments below.

F1 news: Lewis Hamilton speed secret, Daniel Ricciardo contract update, Danish GP closer - Duration: 3:48.

F1 news: Lewis Hamilton speed secret, Daniel Ricciardo contract update, Danish GP closer

Lewis Hamilton has a potent combination of raw speed, hard work and experience that has given him the edge over team-mate Valtteri Bottas.

Bottas secured his first three Grand Prix wins in his maiden season with Mercedes, but was consistently outdriven by world champion Hamilton, who graced the top step of the podium nine times in all.

And while Bottas admits that the Brit had the advantage of knowing the Mercedes car much better, the Finn also recognised Hamilton's commitment to the cause.

I always knew that hes really talented for sure, and hes quick in any circumstances always - he just goes in the car and hes very quick, Bottas said.

But that also comes from hard work, he works hard with the team. ****   Daniel Ricciardo has still not signed a new contract with Red Bull and remains committed to taking his time with the decision.

Ricardo has been on the Red Bull books since 2010, spending four years as a test and then race driver with Toro Rosso before graduating to the senior team in 2014.

But this coming season could be his last as his contract expires at the end of 2018 and Express Sport understands both Mercedes and Ferrari are interested in his potential availability.

Ricciardo is regarded as one of the grid's very best drivers but has just five race wins in his 129 Grands Prix, and the 28-year-old has admitted that he cannot go on challenging for third or fourth place.

"I've still got years in this sport, but Im not 23 or 24 anymore, Ricciardo told Autosport. I dont feel Im past my peak. The next contract I sign or next extension I do, they are potentially the peak years of my career.

That next bit of paper I sign could make or break my desire in terms of whether I can fight for a title or not." **** A Danish Grand Prix in Copenhagen could feature on the F1 calendar within the next three years after a series of positive meetings between Liberty Media and race organisers.

Liberty chief Chase Carey has been in Denmark to discuss the feasibility of the event as the new owners of the sport looking to break fresh ground and capture a new audience.

F1 has not raced in Denmark since 1962 but that run could reportedly come to an end as soon as 2020. "We're excited about the opportunity to explore a potential race here in Denmark," said Carey.

"I think Copenhagen represents the type of location that we think can really provide a great platform." "Scandinavia has been a great part of our sport and having local drivers is always a plus." Denmark currently boasts just one F1 driver, Kevin Magnussen, although Finns Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen are two more that represent a rich racing tradition in Scandinavia as whole.

TNA Stars To WWE! Sasha Banks HEAT With Ronda Rousey?! | WrestleTalk News Jan. 2018 - Duration: 4:11.

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis.

Get These Hands, M'Lady?

WWE's Mixed Match Challenge is now in its third week, and it's actually really rather

fun - being presented with a camp house show feel.

But with so many men and women working and training together, it was only a matter of

time before love found a way.

Last night's episode saw Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman beat Becky Lynch and Sami Zayn

to advance in the tournament, but it was their post-match promo where the action really got

going - and The Monster Among Men laid on the charm:

"This was a team effort, we get along professionally and - if I do say - personally.

I mean, she's kind of cute."

To which Alexa replied "I think you're kind of cute too."

Look at that face, it's just adorable!

And Bliss wasn't done there, promising Strowman: "I can just say this though, Braun.

We're going all the way."

Yes!

Yes!

These Hands!

Ye- "...all the way to a victory in the Mixed

Match Challenge."

No!

No!

Bliss, you tease!

Don't worry Braun.

There's plenty of room here in the Friend Zone with me and Zack Ryder.

205 Live General Manager Revealed Mixed Match Challenge wasn't the only WWE

competition taking place last night, as a 16 man single elimination tournament began

to crown a new Cruiserweight Champion, with the finals being held at The Biggest Sign

of the Year, WrestleMania.

The announcement was made by 205 Live's new General Manager, who Daniel Bryan revealed

to be former TNA wrestler Rockstar Spud - who's going to be called Drake Maverick in WWE.

Which is a freaking awesome name.

We've come a long way since the days of Eli Cottonwood.

And Spud isn't the only Impact Wrestling star to jump ship to WWE, as long-time TNA

commentator, ring announcer, backstage interviewer, producer, booker, website designer - man of

all trades - Jeremy Borash has also joined the company.

PWInsider are reporting Triple H made the call to hire him to work on NXT, though it's

not yet known whether that'll be in front of or behind the camera.

There's hopeful speculation that he'll contribute to Woken Matt Hardy's storyline

on the main roster, as Borash produced his Broken segments on Impact.

Borash worked for TNA from its very inception in 2002, and he'll be a major loss for the

promotion - who reportedly planned on him doing commentary with Don Callis going forward.

Sasha Banks Heat With Ronda Rousey?

The biggest WWE debut this week, though, still remains Ronda Rousey - who turned up at the

end of Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

A debut which, if you ask Triple H, everyone backstage is super happy about and not upset

at all - as he told USA Today he thinks the rest of the roster is "thrilled" with

Ronda joining the promotion.

Someone might want to tell that to both Nia Jax and Nikki Bella, who criticised Ronda's

debut for overshadowing Asuka winning the first ever Women's Royal Rumble.

And now we can add Sasha Banks to That List, who when asked about Rousey's debut on Busted

Open Radio replied: "I have nothing nice to say, so I can't say anything at all."

Co-host Bully Ray then pushed the matter further, asking if there's really nothing positive

about Ronda joining WWE, and Banks just reiterated: "I've got nothing to say.

I'm going to keep it at that".

While this could be genuine negativity directed at Ronda from the women's roster, it's

also important to remember this is professional wrestling - and Banks, Nikki and Jax could

all be working us.

Considering how volatile WWE can be towards anyone who steps out of line, those three

likely wouldn't say anything potentially damning without clearing it with management

first.

A GIANT WWE return has been teased!
