The bilingual single arrives as the holiday season is in full swing and serves as Tiffany's

third new release of 2018, following up on "Over My Skin" and "Teach You."

"Peppermint" is a nice departure from the past two songs we've heard as the Girls'

Generation star sings about being unwrapped under red and green lights, with the

title alluding to the sweet and cool kiss from someone who who makes her happy.

Tiffany began teasing the drop on social Thursday with wrapped gift, snowflake and

christmas tree emojis. "Should I release my Christmas song tomorrow?" She asked

her fans. The answer was a resounding yes as the song is now out and dedicated to her

"forever fans" according to Tiffany. This isn't the pop star's first experience with

holiday tunes, she appeared on the 2015 Christmas-themed EP 'Dear Santa' with

Girls' Generation subunit TTS.
