Beep!
This is the second video of the trip that my boyfriend and I took to the state of Espirito Santo.
The first was about São Mateus, which was posted before this one.
There you'll see some images of the city.
After staying a couple of days in São Mateus we went to Guriri
which is a beach of São Mateus.
The first day we stayed in Guriri
we were away from mobiles, cameras and so on...
So we didn't record that much
because what we wanted the most was some sunbathing.
After all this was one of the goals of the trip. To go somewhere to feel the sun.
Since in Curitiba (where we live) the sun rarely appears.
Even in the summer.
So we got there to sunbathe a little bit
and I got skin burned.
"You've hurt me
mocked me up
but I won't give up ..."
The day after we woke up very early
to go to a beach called "Praia do Bosque" (Wood Beach)
a very beautiful spot to see the sunrise.
We didn't stay long because
at the hotel we stayed in
the breakfast started at 8h.
And we went out early without having breakfast
so I was starving
and we had to go back to the hotel
but at least we got some images ...
After breakfast
we chilled out
recovering after the damage I let the sun make on my skin
even using lots of sunblock
Imagine if I didn't.
Then, when the sun was about to set
we went to the beach
to take a walk and make some more images ...
After watching the sunset we went to do one of my favorite things
EATING!
So we took a shower and went to take a walk in the city centre
and had some food.
Besides eating well I had an interesting experience, to catch the "Fair Train"
that I had seen only on the internet
but never in person.
The city I grew up, didn't have this kind of entertainment, so I could experience it as an adult.
Surprisingly it's not so creepy as it seems.
Not to mention they dance well and move their wigs in a way that makes me jealous.
I wish I had that huge wig like "Fofão" (Brazilian Character)
So, have a look ...
After we left Guriri,
we headed to Itaúnas, but this is for another video,
because there is a lot to show.
Particularly, I loved the city
It's not a place too far from Guriri but you have to go off road about 15km
and it seems A LOT.
But it's worth it because it's a very beautiful place to visit.
The city have a very good vibe, super quiet.
Anyway it's amazing!
There is a Forró Festival (Brazilian Rhythm) that takes place in July and it seems also very nice,
but we hadn't the opportunity to go yet.
Who knows a next time ...
But Itaúnas is for another video.
To finish with Guriri I'll leave you with a presentation of the local police city orchestra.
